Biggy's Place

Wonderful salads, I chose the Greek salad with potato salad, and my husband chose the chef salad. We were both envious, though, as our son ordered the bacon cheese burger and good gracious it was calling our names! Good thing our son is so awesome at sharing. Ever looking for a place for breakfast or lunch, #BiggysPlace is definitely one of our top choices in places we go to. Came back to #Biggy'sPlace for lunch Friday. We order two of their specials, the Cuban Sandwich and the Corned Beef and Cabbage. Biggy’s Place Ft Myers Fl 5-15-25 Stopped by for breakfast about 9:30ish. Place was mostly full but plenty of parking. Once inside it was clean and neat. We got seated fast and ordered our coffees. I ordered the American Platter which consisted of 2 Eggs, Potatoes, and a Biscuit covered with Sausage Gravy. My wife ordered the Belgian Waffle with Blueberries, Strawberries, and whipped cream on top. Our waitress stated she would make sure they added Blueberries inside the Waffle also. Our orders came out fast and looked very good. My eggs were done just the way I like them and everything else on my plate was good and hot. My wife's Belgian Waffle was big but just a couple Strawberries and Blueberries on top. No Blueberries were inside the Waffle to be found. The whipped cream was in a bowl beside the Waffle. This all seemed a little miss conjoined for a Belgian Waffle. We though someone would come around and fill our Coffees up, but it never happen. Eggs, bacon & Omelette were great. Potatoes not the best but okay. Great service. Was our first time here since we were in the area. Would eat there again if I happen to be in the area.

We had a fantastic breakfast experience! The food was absolutely delicious, everything was cooked to perfection and full of flavor. The service was equally impressive, friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming from start to finish. What really stood out was the restaurant’s appreciation for military service. They offer amazing discounts for active duty and veterans, which we truly appreciated. It’s always refreshing to see businesses that not only serve great food but also show real support for the military community. We’ll definitely be returning and recommending this place to friends and family!

I sat at the counter because I was having lunch by myself. my server Was Rachel and she attentive and very sweet.I happen to love BLT Sandwiches. It was probably one of the less expensive things on the restaurant. I must mention here, they had sausage and gravy for half order for it. I think four or five dollars. I almost ordered it because I love sausage and gravy too, but settle for the BLT. The BLT was $9.99. And I expected the BLT with a pickle if I was lucky. I got more than a BLT and a pickle. Then she asked me if I wanted french fries coleslaw or soup. I was surprise for $9.99. I chose to get the soup, cream of chicken, they also had a bean soup. It was amazing with lots of pieces of tender chicken. I am sure it was homemade. it was a delicious meal in of itself. I ordered an iced tea and it comes in a 20 ounce glass and it was fresh iced tea. Such a lovely experience. as I sat at the counter, I could hear all the girls talking as they’re coming in out the kitchen carrying their orders. the girls all get along and they help each other. I wanted some more hot water for my soup. And then I need another napkin because I made a mess. And when I asked another girl, besides Rachel, they were delighted to heil. It was just was such a nice experience. This is a great restaurant. You can tell this is a local restaurant. It was full of local people it. this is not a tourist spot, but if you were tourist reading this, I suggest highly you go to this restaurant. It’s a taste of old Florida. The prices are very reasonable and it’s just a delight.

1st time going there. I was greeted right away and seated. My waitress Michelle was amazing, she was extremely nice to my granddaughter. The food was great, quick and plenty of it. All of the people working there are friendly like one Big family. Ty Michelle I would definitely go back again. Definitely recommend this place.

The coffee is strong and the prices are so reasonable. The service is excellent and the place is clean. My husband is not a breakfast eater but I love breakfast. When we find a place that serves lunch for breakfast my husband is all about it. You can tell this place is mostly locals. They have a really good menu. Tons of variety.

2nd time here. I always have breakfast for lunch & had an omelette, grits & fruit, their omelettes are very good, not overcooked like a lot of places are. The servers are great also!

Service is always great and personable. Food portions are large. Reasonably priced and greets us like family.

I was there around 9:30 am on 1/31. I ordered a bacon cheese omelette for the first time. It was delicious and cooked to perfection, as all of their breakfasts are. I had a surly waitress though. The hostess seated me and asked what I wanted to drink. She brought me my water and said the waitress would be right with me. So I'm sitting and the hostess holds up a finger, as if to say the waitress will be here soon. A couple of minutes go by and the same thing. Now I have not done anything or said anything. The waitress, appropriately dressed in black pants and shirt, finally comes over with attitude asking, what can I get you. I order and ask for strawberry jelly. She comes by and plops down the plate and said she'll be back with the jelly. She tosses them on the table. Normally I tip at least 30% for breakfast. She got 20%, which wasn't deserved.

Food and service also great, friendly servers and staff. Love the older pics of downtown fort myers as well. Original owner is back and things couldn't be better

Quick service, good food and very clean. This place isn't fancy but they have some cool pictures on the wall and the food is solid.

Anytime we are in this neighborhood, we always go to Biggy's Place for lunch. Why? This place has that neighborhood ambiance and feel. You heard phrases, "Hey Bill!" or "Guys, Can I get you a refill for the road?". The dining area is large and spacious. It is clean and staff is very efficient with reasonable price and good breakfast and lunch selections. The place can be very busy but you'll get in and out in good time! The burgers and fries are one of best in Fort Myers! Today, I sit at the counter and ordered a Western Omelet and coffee. Several staff check my coffee and make sure the cup is full! The omelet is well cooked, crunchy home fries and hot biscuit just make this an enjoyable lunch! This is not a tourist place and it is Veterans friendly. They appreciated their sacrifices and urge you to support them! Biggy's is where the locals go for breakfast and lunch!

Staying in Ft. Myers, at a hotel where breakfast is not included in the package. So went looking for a place for breakfast. Biggy's was just a bit more than. Mile away and had good reviews, so that's where we headed. I ordered the all American breakfast, 2 eggs, biscuit and gravy and home fries. These folks do not mess around! Obviously use jumbo eggs, as these two over medium covered about a third of the plate. A single good sized, fluffy biscuit covered in a creamy gravy with just the right amount of sausage and a hefty helping of fresh cut home fried potatoes. Definitely not frozen! My wife had bacon, egg and cheese sandwich and grits. She was quite happy with her selection. The waitress was quick to our table and getting us coffee to get started. Got our order and very quickly we got our food. It was after the morning rush, so maybe that's why it was so fast. But probably one of the best breakfast meals I've had. It's a definite "you gotta try it" places. Our next visit to Ft Myers, this is on the schedule!!

what wonderful place. we dropped off family at the airport and found Biggy's to have breakfast. got there around 10:30, every seat was full, 10 minutes of waiting and we were seated and promptly served drinks. my wife had the eggs Benedict and I had ham and eggs, both came with home fries. everything was cooked as requested and tasty. at great local spot as the staff seemed to know most clients.

I checked the reviews before we went there. We haven't been there for quite some time. The previous owner was so rude we decided to go somewhere else for breakfast. Then we heard the place was under new ownership. The reviews are now about 95% 5 stars. So we have been there 3 times in the last moth. As you can see I was amazed with price, food and service. 5 STARS !!

I thought it was just ok. A Little expensive for what we got. A $40 breakfast is alot for a family diner . The food was just average. The atmosphere was like your local diner vibe. The server was friendly. Place seems to be a busy local place. Nothing else close by to choose from for breakfast atleast.

Love the love for our veterans. The food was good. The service was a little slow. The waitress eyed my husband and called him baby a few too many times. I get it, he is cute and was one of the youngest patrons there. It was cute, but then got a little annoying especially when she wouldn't make eye contact with me

The service is great they remember your name once you come in regularly. They have great breakfast options that's all I have tried. The skillet is amazing it's eggs over potato's with cheese and bacon. I love the country Benedict which is scrambled eggs over biscuits with sausage gravy on them. Ask for Leslie she is always chipper and upbeat great server and a joy to be a round.

This is the ultimate little breakfast-lunch spot. Everyone from the lady who greets and seats you to our server, Michelle, welcomed you and made you feel that they were glad you were there. The food was excellent. We had a group of 4 and all ordered different things. Everyone loved their food. The server and kitchen had no problem filling our special requests. Michelle checked back with us frequently refilling drinks and meeting additional requests. It was a wonderful place to meet with old friends. No one made us feel rushed. Prices were very reasonable and portion sizes were huge. The menu has something for everyone. This place is special. We are visiting the area, however, if we lived here, Biggy's Place would definitely be one of my go to spots. Thank you to Michelle and the wonderful lady at the register. You made my day.

Clean, good service , good food and they honor veterans. The waitresses are always smiling and they are attentive.

An absolute gem stop. The staff is friendly + welcoming. Very clean! The food is so delicious. And the portions are big. The eggs were cooked to absolute perfection. Their biscuits + gravy is hands down the best I have ever eaten.

I was extremely impressed with Biggy's Place on what was my very first visit and, I've already been back! The service was top notch, everyone was friendly and welcoming. We had a 40 min wait at F*rst Wa*ch which was about to be unbearable for the people waiting beside us as we had two young and hungry kids in our party of 5. The smart phones rec'd Biggy's and off we went. The menu selections were expansive and drool inducing. The food did not disappoint! Fresh, delicious, abundant portions. The cost was a fraction of what we would have spent and the experience memorable. Don't wait, get there soon... you're welcome :-)

How I missed this place in all the years I have lived in this area is beyond me. I am always on the lookout for the next breakfast place and this is a good one. Apparently most of the locals know and love this place and apparently are not sharing. But I will. I was next door at Safelite Auto Glass and I needed something to eat. I actually walked by this place initially as it sits back off the road, but looked it up on Google to see what people thought. Google reviews 4.7 Stars based on over 1700 reviews. I turned around and have zero regrets. I had the Ham and cheese omelet with home fries. Great portion size with the flavors you would expect. Well made and flavorful. I wish I could remember the name of my waitress, but from what I observed ALL the wait staff was attentive to the patrons. My compliments to the cooking staff as well. My food came out quickly and was hot and ready to go. I will be back.

I got their eggs, biscuit gravy and home fries platter. The food was Luke warm to cold....the home fries had no taste to them and we're more like a mush. The gravy was good and the biscuits were okay could've been of course hotter. The eggs were well...eggs. Would've been four stars if the food would've been hotter and the home fries weren't mush. I will try them again to see if I just got a bad breakfast.

Cold food, dried out food, missing food. I would not recommend you eat here. No toast with my eggs although waitress said she would be right back with it. Fries shriveled up and ice cold. Fish sandwich awful. Fish was horrible and all dried up. The food took over a long, long time to come out and when we finally got it we were very disappointed in the quality. Poor quality of food. Waitress never checked back to see if anything was needed. We will not be going back to Biggies. It was just awful!!!

I have eight at biggies four times now. Every time I get exceptional service and outstanding food. The portions are very large, so there is some value for your money. The waitresses all appear to have worked there a long time and have great relationships with their clients, it is certainly a great mom and pop type restaurant

Great breakfast spot. Quick service and reliable food. I usually get the eggs, potatoes and bacon breakfast. Always good. They have good coffee, nothing fancy. Waitresses are always friendly and great service.

No idea why this is popular. Yes waitresses are super friendly even if they disappear for a long chat and laugh with co-workers. Just don't order corned beef if you have ever eaten corned beef from a NY deli because you will be sorely disappointed even if yes they will bring you brown mustard in lieu of delivered bottle of yellow. No desserts. Aunt happily ate her waffle. My crackers served with (mediocre) clam chowder were stale. They do a booming business with painted flags over entrance discovered disheartedly on way out blue lives matter (boo hiss, MAGA territory).

Lovely place with great service and awesome food! We stopped in for breakfast. Hubby had the skillet which was much to his liking and I had a biscuit/gravy with a sausage/cheese omelet and both were really good! We also thought the prices were reasonable which you don't find too often any more. We'll gladly come back!!

The first thing one will notice is the 2 American Flags decor up high on the building. Before you would walk in through the front door I'd a plaque outside that stated if you are an active duty military person or on vacation. Please let them know they will provide you with a complimentary meal. Inside the eyes very is also a military helmet hanging got people to help out veterans. As we were entering this place people were asking about a server's baby being born. All were buzzing with excitement. This is no tourist place. This is down home place where locals can go and where everyone knows their name. Servers know the locals and enjoy serving them and making everyone including visiting customers feel very welcome. This place was recommended to me by a friend of mine. It is a brunch place that serves both breakfast and lunch all day. Our server was very friendly and attentive. Just in case you might have missed the plaque outside, on the bottom back of the menu Is a friendly reminder that if you are in military please let them know that and you will receive s complimentary meal. We really appreciate that this establishment folks really are grateful for the men and women who serve our country. My friend said that we had to have their bacon cheeseburger that there was none like it and that we will not want other burger from anywhere else. We both ordered the recommended bacon cheeseburger platter which includes freshly made coleslaw and fries. Wow! This burger is thick and juicy!! The buns were gentled grilled which gave a slight hint of buttery crispness yet fluffy. The burger was so very thick and yummy. The meat was very juicy and flavorful. Crisp and light French fries along with the most flavorful and delicious homemade fries. Biggy's Place truly ruined any other burger for us. The atmosphere is relaxing and friendly with such American favorites for breakfast and lunch. We are looking forward to returning for some breakfast very soon! Biggy's is where the locals go for homemade classics!

So I am so picky about breakfast after we ate at a waffle place near downtown where is was very apparent they cater to a twenty something crowd and we were made to feel very unwelcome. I chose Biggies based on reviews and because it is a local spot. If you are a veteran you get free beverages and free meal upon arriving home from deployment. The owner is obviously very patriotic , as American flags adorn the outside and Americana motif inside.There are also lovely placards to patrons who have passed. Many historical photos, and vintage tv shows to watch while dining.., Watched some "Bonanza" while dining. Food was great, prices good, everything homemade including the biscuits. Our server was not good. First she spilled coffee all over our table and said " I made a mess" , walked away and left us to clean it up. We had to walk to the counter for water and butter. She blamed it on being busy but the restaurant was half full. Still, I would come back, but request a different server.

Jumped in here for Easter Sunday breakfast after mass. The place is a lot bigger than it appears to be from the outside, so even though the parking lot might look busy, there's probably room. This is a breakfast/lunch place only. Food was very good. Service was pleasant and attentive. I got the Country Skillet. Very filling. Menu was complete, but they didn't have anything "fancy" - but I may have missed it.

Fantastic everything!!!!! we go there every Tuesday before we go bowling and I've never had a bad meal or bad service and I love that they give back to the first responders and Veterans

Biggy's has really good food at decent prices, served by an outstanding staff. The menu has plenty to chose from, while remaining concise and well-explained. Even though it was quite busy, we were in and out for lunch in good time. Breakfast served any time is a big bonus! My co-diner's burgers and fries looked AMAZING, and they all said they lived up to the looks in taste. There's definitely a home cooked feel to it all, and if you're looking for a good place to eat in the area, you should give Biggy's a try. They're really on top of things.

This place has changed since the new ownership. We have come here 3 times since the new management, and the food is no longer of good quality. The sausage gravy and biscuits are horrible; the "gravy" is nothing but wheat paste with no flavor. The burgers aren't even good anymore and they used to be great. The service is mediocre (the servers act like they are not very happy working there) and the woman at the front is not friendly, outgoing, nor does she have the personality that the previous owners had. Plus, she has apparently thrown away a lot of the veteran and USA memorabilia we all enjoyed seeing when we visited. I guess the the previous owners, who were VERY veteran friendly and USA proud, retired. I don't begrudge them that, but I am not coming back ever again. This new owner has had enough chances with our group, so we are eliminating Biggy's from our choices of where to eat on Sundays.

Go there early. There's always a wait for breakfast. Prices are very good and you get a great breakfast.

Came by for breakfast and was very impressed with the "neighborhood" feel to this place. Very spacious and clean inside. Servers are very nice and friendly. I opted for a Western omelet with breakfast potatoes and a biscuit. The breakfast potatoes were a little dry as was the omelet. Overall, good. Definitely homemade. The biscuit was warm and perfect - A little butter and jam made it ever better. They are only open for breakfast and lunch. Will surely return for lunch. I saw some things on the menu I'd like to try. Highly recommend!

Biggy's, Fowler St., Ft. Myers, Fl., Here is my 2 cents on the food and chatter. I went here on a Thursday... My server recommended the day special. Spaghetti and meatballs. After a short wait it was presented... It was like a at home dish.. Not fancy looking just good lookin. It was fantastic flavor..I could use more garlic ....but I always want more garlic. You must go there and try this meal...WONDERFUL... Service was excellent.

Good breakfast nice waitress change of owners will see if it goes down hill. Eaten there many times always good though.

Love this place! It's a typical old school diner ambience that caters to veterans and has a loyal crowd of "more seasoned" patrons. It's not your young hipster crowd or modern atmosphere but if you want the best breakfast skillet in town or a heaping stack of hot pancakes, you're at the right place. Large portions and fast, friendly service by servers who have been there for years and know most by first name. That's increasingly rare these days. Keep up the good work Biggy's!
