We stayed in Frisco the week of Thanksgiving and absolutely loved our rental. The house was in a perfect location right in front of the Mountainside Condos, giving us access to the outdoor hot tubs and the indoor pools—all with beautiful mountain views. The home itself was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. The kitchen was fully stocked and had relatively new appliances, which made cooking during the holiday week easy. There were 3 bedrooms plus an extra family room, each with smart TVs, full cable, and strong WiFi. Our only minor complaint was that the main living room (connected to the dining room and kitchen) didn’t have a TV, which is where our group spent most of our time hanging out. Otherwise, the home had plenty of board games that helped us unplug and enjoy some real family time. Frisco itself is a charming mountain town—quiet, cozy, and only about 20 minutes from the hustle and bustle of Breckenridge. It’s also just 20 minutes from what we feel is the perfect ski spot: Loveland Ski Area. Overall, it was a fantastic stay and we’d happily return!

Everything was awesome, the owners take pride in the decor. Everything was in good repair and we had no issues whatsoever. Very comfy and nice condo, would stay again next time we go for a ski trip. We didnt bring our dogs, we were going to but that is a great option as we normally would love to bring them but we had a friend volunteer to watch them for us.

The booking process was easy, check in was great and everyone we dealt with was helpful, at first. When we got to the rental it was amazing, exactly what we wanted, a space we could be comfortable in with our 13 month old, with a private hot tub so we could unwind while she napped or at night, right off Main St. so everything was walkable, just like the listing said. Unfortunately while we were unpacking we realized a lot of noise and upon walking onto our balcony (where the beautiful hot tub and soon to be obstructed "mountain view" are) we noticed the enormous construction project less than 100' away, directly across the street. We were hopeful it would wind down at a reasonable hour, it did not... At 8pm Thur. night when the crew finally left, I emailed BigHorn and asked them for options to move to another of their units because this one was directly across the street from a major construction project and we would not have chosen this location had we known. We came to learn this location was extremely loud from 7am to 8pm weekdays and 7am to 5pm on Sat. I am not talking about hammer and nail kind of noise, this was heavy equipment, dropping large boulders into dump trucks, jack hammers in concrete, dozens of cement trucks and work trucks (that parked in our driveway) enough noise to be clearly heard (and felt) inside the house all day. This was enough to disrupt our daughter's naps and nighttime routine, and make our wonderful little 3 night trip to Frisco a lot less enjoyable... I told Bighorn they should have a note in the listing about the construction and potentially disruptive noise. We paid over $1400 for 3 nights and would have chosen another of the numerous available properties with private hot tubs available that weekend had we known. This was not a discount or cheap rental and being the last week of Sept., there were a LOT of options and when traveling with an infant, noise is a major consideration for accommodations. Their response was "pay us $200 to clean this rental and you can move into another of our units at regular price if you would like, but we aren't responsible for construction noise". It doesn't seem right to pay them another $200, pack up everything needed for an infant and move for 2 days so we stayed. Following a phone call and email the next day with the manager I was told they would speak to the owner and see what they want to do since this was the owners call, but was reminded, construction is not their fault, to which I agreed, but it is their responsibility to notify tenants of known issues/disruptions... After we checked out, I followed up since no one reached out to us for a resolution. I was told $100 refund would be applied to our CC if I promised not to post about this anywhere online... I told them to keep the money, $100 is worth making sure other people know how little this company cares about customers and to remind people to ask this company up front if there is construction going on when booking. Look around, you will see other rental companies with decent management do warn you about construction as they realize you are likely staying with them during your hard earned vacation and the last thing you want to deal with is a major project while trying to relax. If the owner of "Frisco River Townhomes D" reads this, now you know how your rental company operates. It might be worth reconsidering unless you are so hard up for rental income that you are willing to ruin someone's vacation for a few $$$...

Having been visiting Colorado my whole life, I never have encountered a condo which had mice in it. THREE mice. Two we were able to get out the front door, but one had to be trapped (traps set out by management) after complaining that we had mice in the condo. Nevertheless, asked for reasonable compensation, but was not given this. I also was not willing to take the money to not write a review and inform others, as this is invaluable in selecting properties over the internet. I can say some good things about the property at 102 Timberline Cove in that it was very nice, comfortable and quite close to nearby mountains. Accommodations were good, and amenities were reasonable. Underground parking was great. The service guy that came to help assist us with issues was Dominic, and he was really great.

Best ski condo ever. Usually I wish I had my tool kit with me when I rent a typical ski condo, but not through Bighorn. I credit the checkout sheet, where renters can list what things need to be repaired. As a result, our condo, 102C, was perfect. And I loved that the bathrooms were well stocked with TP and soap - something we've come to bring with us, as we usually end up running out. But not here. It really is the first ski condo rental I've ever done that has just been flawless. We chose this place because of proximity to my nephew, so one bonus feature we did not take advantage of is the bus service to Copper. But it would have been an easy walk to the stop on main street from our condo, as are numerous great little restaurants, something we did take advantage of a few times during our stay.

Stayed a few days at Commerce Exchange in Frisco during my annual ski trip. This was my second experience with Bighorn Rentals, and zero complaints! The condo was larger than I expected, and exactly as described and pictured online. Thoughtfully decorated, extremely comfortable and clean, and stocked with anything needed. Very pleasant stay and can’t wait to return! Thank you!

Our White Christmas in Frisco was fantastic! Clint from BigHorn Rentals could not have been more helpful and answered every question we had prior to arriving from Australia- everything from extra bedding, where to eat, skiing etc. The house was beautiful and certainly lived up to our expectations. Frisco St House was perfect for two families to share with plenty of space and well equipped. We can't wait to return to this beautiful part of the world.

I had a reservation with Bighorn Rentals from December 25-30 of 2021. I received a positive COVID-19 test on the 23rd of December making it impossible for me to get onto a plane as well as stay in a condo and expose others. I contacted Bighorn and was told that I will not be receiving a refund. This was extremely frustrating but I put my trust in what I thought was a reputable company and honored their cancellation policy. I did receive the service fee and cleaning fee back but was still out $3300+ from the trip. Come to find out January 20th of 2022 after contacting Airbnb, I was able to send my positive test and receive a FULL REFUND. After being lied to and having our Christmas ruined, I advise you not to trust this company. To take advantage of Covid-19 and keep someones money from this situation is outrageous. Do NOT book with Bighorn Rentals.

Yelp
We rented a Condo in Frisco, CO for 10 days. Overall, the stay was great...good location, comfortable (but dated) accommodations, etc. Only negative is we left a bag in the bedroom...nothing too valuable, but Christmas gifts, including two bottles of good wine, gifts shipped from our daughter in France, and other items we're still figuring out. We called them on the Monday after the Friday we left (drove from Ohio so took us two days to get home and figure out it was missing). They said they couldn't check until Thursday when cleaning people arrived. Had to call back before they checked. Told us there was no bag...they hope we find it. We only left it one place and that was in our room. It was our mistake to leave, but they handled with no sense of urgency and if the only access was the cleaning people, then what do they think happened to the bag? Mostly just disappointed in the lack of customer service.

Yelp
Booked to stay March 2026. Have never experienced a 24 hr cancellation policy for 100% refund. First flag. Was a discrepancy on the listing. Big Horn blamed Airbnb?! No washing machine. Not going to go to Colorado in March without a washing machine. Sent a message to Bighorn in the afternoon expecting a response pretty quickly. I thought about the reviews of some unhappy guests but mainly remembered Big Horn's RUDE responses - customers are NEVER right mentality. I ended up going to bed that night without a response. When I woke up next day I looked and still no response. I had to leave for work and could not leave to chance them getting back to me within their "9 hr response time" so I cancelled. Well turns out they said I hadn't canceled?! Long story short I was out of $1200, My advice to anyone is when you feel out anything to Airbnb, keep a copy (photos, etc). The long AI messages you get, keep a copy. They are not there for the guests believe me. I thought I had learned from my experience in Madrid in October but my photos this time were not respected/used. The other suggestion I will make is don't book with a conglomerate or corporate apartment (Europe) because the service is just not there. Look for owners.

Yelp
We have used Bighorn rentals several times and really enjoyed our rentals each time. The first time the condo was right against the mountain and was a true ski in ski out as advertised. The second time we had a nice two bedroom about 120 steps to the slope. The third time it was less than 100 steps. We enjoyed all three unit and check-in was easy.

Yelp
As a neighbor of a property managed by Big Horn Rentals, I find them to be completely worthless. Totally worthless.

Yelp
People very rude. Locked us out of room after they had to fix a leak in the toilet while it was 11 degrees out. The front office is not reliable

Yelp
Wow, I echo other reviewers and emphatically state DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH BIGHORN RENTALS!!! LIke others, we booked a trip just as the COVID-19 crisis was hitting and this company would not refund money paid even though we couldn't travel to CO and ALL the ski areas were closed. They kept 50% of our money for absolutely nothing. They offer a credit to be used until this October - obviously useless for the purpose of our rental which was skiing. If they don't refund money, at least they could do would be offer a credit that extends for 1 year. They were not out any money as the condo would absolutely not be rented during the COVID crisis. This is an embarrassing money grab taking advantage of people who simply can't travel due to COVID. The fact is pretty much everyone else in the hospitality industry is in sync with refunding money for services that couldn't be used. Airbnb came out with a policy that overrode any hosts' policies and refunded ALL guests money. Airlines and hotels have refunded money or at least provided a full credit. On and on. It's a real shame that this company is extracting profits at the expense of their guests. I repeat, DO NOT DO ANY BUSINESS WITH BIGHORN RENTALS. I sincerely hope they go out of business. These people will get their due, karma works.

Yelp
We booked our ski trip through VRBO and Big Horn Rentals and had planned on staying at one of their properties in Frisco, CO until the COVID 19 closed the ski resorts. We didn't buy travel insurance, but figured because of the Pandemic, that Big Horn Rentals would refund the money or give us a year to use the house for the following ski season. They offered neither. The told us that the owners wanted to try to make their monthly projected income and that they would refund half the amount OR give us until October 31st of this year to rent another property with only 7 days notice. There have been many people hurt by this pandemic and there have been many GREAT companies that have taken care of their costumers. Big Horn Rentals is NOT that company. We did end up taking the 50%, which ended up being 40% of the total cost paid.

Yelp
This is a very impressive company! After isolating at home for 4 months due to the coronavirus, we decided to see if we could find a condo rental in Summit County that would be a safe place to stay. We are in what is now commonly called a "vulnerable group." Many of the companies I contacted didn't even reply, and most of those that did were doing nothing special to insure that their properties were free of the virus. I received a very prompt response from Lauren at Big Horn. She explained that they had implemented a 72 hour block before and after each reservation. So, in other words, no one would be in the condo we rented for the 3 days before we arrived. They also perform an extremely thorough cleaning and disinfecting of all high touch areas. And the check-in and check-out process can both be contactless by using their after-hours lock box. We arrived earlier than expected for our 4th of July weekend check-in and Lauren graciously let us access our condo early. Upon arrival, the unit was absolutely spotless! We enjoyed our 3 night stay so much more because of our confidence that the condo was virus free. And on our last day, Lauren kindly let us stay 2 hours after the regular check-out time so that we could do one more beautiful hike before we left. Overall, our experience with Big Horn was just fantastic!

Yelp
This company deserves negative stars. Our family booked a rental for lodging in April through VRBO for our kids' first ski vacation. Due to Covid19, the ski mountains closed and we were unable to visit Colorado at all due to their mandated "stay-at-home" order. Clint, the manager at Bighorn Rentals, refused to offer a refund (as recommended by VRBO) or to offer a chance at rescheduling within a 12-month period (also recommended by VRBO). We are paying ski-season, ie the high rates for this rental but Clint only offered us the chance to reschedule between whenever the Covid19 crisis returns to normal and October. Not only is this not what we paid for but with our children in different schools operating on different calendars, it's not even a possibility for our family. Our attorney tells us this is a force majeur situation and the resort is responsible for returning our money. Just to be clear, Clint says that he will charge us half of our scheduled lodging fee for cancelling the contract (ie we pay half for nothing), as if these were normal circumstances! Or, we can reschedule if there's availability between now and October at the ski season rates we were originally charged. Both options take advantage of customers. We've asked for Bighorn Rentals to be investigated by the Colorado attorney general's office and filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Not to mention that fact that we will NEVER stay in a place managed by Bighorn Rentals and will not return to Copper Mountain after this unfortunate treatment. If I were an owner and this were my place, I would complain. The way you treat people in a crisis determines everything about your brand and company. Beware! At a time when other companies are exhibiting generosity and understanding, Bighorn Rentals is exhibiting pure greed. In addition, there's no need for it because as a management company paying payrolls, they are eligible for both the PPP and the EIDL loans from the government to hep them stay afloat in these unusual times. We're all in this together except for those who want to grab and run.

Yelp
Absolutely so disappointed upon arrival the check in staff was extremely rude. Our house was NOT clean to standards. Hair in the sheets and dirt on the floor. SAVE YOUR TIME AMD GO ELSEWHERE!!

Yelp
As we are preparing to leave for our Spring Break ski trip this year to Breckenridge, I am reminded of our debacle with Bighorn Rentals last year. We were scheduled to arrive in Copper Mountain a week after the Covid pandemic hit and practically the entire country shut down, including every ski resort in Colorado. We had used Bighorn Rentals for our lodging. When attempting to obtain a refund or at the very least, a full credit for the same week the following year (which would be this year), we were given 3 very suboptimal options. #1- we were told we could go ahead and come to Copper Mountain and stay in our condo even though the ski resort was closed (when it was obvious we had rented solely for the purpose of skiing); #2- obtain the same number of nights during the OFF season (good until October 2020) BUT we could not reserve more than a week in advance!. (Now, I ask you, how in the world are we supposed to plan a vacation for a family of 5, including obtaining plane tickets in less than a week?!?. Not to mention the credit was during the off season, which is much cheaper than ski season) #3 - obtain a refund of HALF the amount we had paid. That's it. Those were our 3 options. Unbelievable. Every other reputable business in America was making generous allowances in light of the pandemic, but not this company. We were trying to support local business, but it ended up that we should have rented from a larger corporation, where our chances of obtaining equitable credit would have been much better. I DO NOT recommend this company. The only nice thing I can say is that the receptionist was pleasant to me on the phone when I called to complain and to make a valid argument for better reimbursement. (Which I obviously did not secure.)

Anna E.

Yelp
This is the only way sadly where people actually care after you have to write a review. First time ever using Bighorn Rentals in Frisco for a condo that is in Keystone at Snake River Village. Our family drives in at 11:30 to find our sheets so filthy with human hair and stuff in both beds. I call the after hours where a guy said he would take note of this which he was actually nice on the call center I assume and have someone immediately call me back . A minutes and my phone rings to this other guy. I give my story on how we just arrived it's late and the sheets super gross to where we are stuck sleeping on them for the night . Crickets... he doesn't say ma'am I am so sorry let me see about someone coming out to bring you some or I'll get back with you in the morning stat. As I begin to ask when will he be getting back with me on this he says " I don't know!" I am getting a little frustrated at this time and say okay we have paid a lot of money to stay here and you don't know when you will get back ? He replies again no ! I then tell him this is ridiculous and my voice is getting shaky as I get upset , he then responds with I am being rude and he didn't care and that we woke him up ! No apology or customer service skills here at all! My husband hears this as he is next to me in bed grabs the phone and says " who do you think your talking to sir?" The manager then says he doesn't care who he is talking to and that we are being rude ! After a few words we ask for a refund and a change of place to stay in and for his name and he says he isn't going to give it to us and that there was no way in hell we would get a refund and hangs up on us ! So Bighorn Rentals in Frisco Colorado is this how you train you managers and staff to paying clients who only want a clean place to stay in? I own a business myself a woman at that an there so no way my clients would ever return if I talked and treated them the way this manager did to us. My business would not succeed so I am baffled that this is how you run your rental properties as a management company . We will never rent anything from you ever Along with Snake River Village Properties !
