My now husband and I cannot say enough amazing things about Bight. Not a single flaw. Taylor DeLuca is like the built-in bestie that Bight gives you, and she is an absolute dream to have as the event coordinator. From the start she was kind, helpful, and so easy to work with. I always felt like she had my back, and when the wedding day came, she truly delivered. I was completely stress-free and it turned out better than I could’ve imagined. From the atmosphere to the food and every detail in between, Taylor made sure everything was perfect and exactly how we wanted it. The food was absolutely top notch — our guests are still talking about it days later. Taylor even planned the most beautiful tasting, complete with décor and thoughtful touches. Not to mention that every other server, bartender and manager that stepped in was equally as incredible. As a bride, all you want is for your vision to be executed perfectly, and Taylor did just that. For our reception decor, aside from the arch, I laid out and handed her the pieces that I had collected, prepped and organized, told her my vision and she made them look beautiful. Bight was the perfect venue for our 81-person wedding. Everything we dreamed of happened and the incredible price-point was worth every penny. The experience was unforgettable. Highly recommend Bight and Taylor to anyone planning their big day!

Our family enjoyed our time at Bight. The food was spectacular and everything we have had off the menu was a hit. The appetizers such as the Potato Churros and the Fritto Misto are favorites and the family loves the NY Strips. Our server Alli is attentive and interacts in joyful banter. The view is peaceful watching the skaters and the outdoor fire. An enjoyable evening!

Pork belly hash was delicious here!! Also enjoyed the ceaser🍸which was presented beautifully with a pickle and a slice of bacon. Sat outside on the patio and it was lovely, waitress was super kind and outgoing.

The food was spectacular. The appetizers all seemed appealing, decided with the Baked Brie to start. Delicious and good portion. Shrimp and Lobster dinner was very well made. Portion of seafood was more than fair, definitely recommend. Also tried the Lamb Chops, which was good but slightly under seasoned. Cooked perfectly. The restaurant was nicely decorated. Great lighting, big windows. Patio and scenery would be spectacular in summer as it’s right beside Lake Superior.

Great design, great location. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The food selection was great. I ordered burgers with salad on the side. The salad could be more flavourful but still tasted healthy! The burger was delicious! I would definitely go back to try other items in the menue.

Awesome place! I’ve celebrated my birthday with Bight. Lobster pasta was creamy! Fried Chicken was also special. Duck Confit the best!!!! Nice vibe; great value! Worth the money!!!!!

So great! The chef created a delicious vegan / plant based pasta and it was soooooo great! Drinks and other food was awesome too. You’ll want to finish every single bight ! 😅 The server was very knowledgeable and ensured us that the chef would be happy to create a special pasta with seasonal ingredients! Really appreciated it! The location here is amazing. Loved taking a walk around the water front before and after our meal here. Views from the dining room are lovely too! On this Sunday night we made sure to make a reservation ahead of time as they didn’t have many spots or times slots available.

Wonderful experience based on two visits here. The service was quick and friendly. The spot itself has a wonderful view but more importantly, the food was very good. Highly recommend the burger or fried chicken sandwich. The flavours, juiciness and quality was great. Even the side of salad was good - similar to the kale poppyseed salad packages you find at grocery stores but of course much more fresh. The trout fish and chips here were not too bad but came with a lot of fries and a smaller amount/size of fish. It's definitely it's own spin and not the kind you find on the east coast of batter. Still worth it to try but share between two people.

Really delicious food. We went during brunch on Sunday. It wasn't to busy, maybe only a couple other tables. We had the lobster rolls and the cobb salad. Lobster rolls were very good. Bun was fluffy and buttery. Good amount of lobster. Fries and homemade ketchup were good as well. Also a nice touch that didn't go unnoticed was that they gave 2 lemon wedges, one for each sandwich, much appreciated. Cobb salad was excellent too. Good ratio of toppings to lettuce. Blue cheese dressing was delicious. Salad was pre-chopped and tossed in dressing which was nice. Service was good as well. Overall a great lunch, happy we gave it a try while in town.

Lovely restaurant with great ambiance and service was superb. Our food was fabulous. Poutine had the best gravy I've ever tasted, and the Sweet Heat Pizza was an amazing flavor experience. Highly recommend!!

We (party of 2) went to Bight recently to try the Novemburger. Reservation was for 6, but we arrived early and were seated right away. Very friendly staff. Server was professional. We were there for a nice, relaxed meal and we were not rushed to order which was appreciated. We got cocktails to start - Amethyst Mine and Cucumber Basil Smash. I enjoyed the Amethyst Mine but my partner indicated he would not order the Cucumber Basil Smash again. My main course was the Novemburger with salad and my partner's was the rigatoni. The presentation was great; I really liked the dishes! I am not great at describing flavours, so I will just say this - the Novemburger was the BEST burger that I have ever had. It was SO flavourful. The beef patty was delicious. The rigatoni was good, but my partner said he wished he got the Novemburger, too. After our main courses, we got dessert and coffee. Cannot recall what exactly the dessert was called but it was some sort of matcha tart. It was creamy and delicious, but the best part was the pastry. So good!

Delicious food. Gluten Friendly. A+ staff. I would have given 5 stars but my only critique is that the food is obviously dreamed up by a wonderful chef but usually my food is prepared just slightly off. One time it was undercooked fish batter, over dressed salad, very slightly under cooked chicken etc. really just minor stuff but otherwise well cooked food. The drinks are also really inventive and compliment the menu. Oh and the view.

Of the finer establishments for lunch in Thunder Bay, Bight tends to run at a slightly higher price margin. However, the food is good and if you get a seat by the windows, the view of the harbour is a nice added touch to the ambiance of the restaurant. I tried the Tarrymore Double Cheeseburger, which was scrumptious - the double beef & bacon patties were so juicy and just oozing with flavour. My boyfriend had the California Turkey Club, which he also enjoyed. It was loaded with fresh alfalfa sprouts, avocado, bacon, and smoked turkey. We also ordered a Bacon and Honey pizza to share. It was a unique combination of apple slices, deep fried shallots, and mozzarella cheese, which complemented each other very well but I found the crust to be a little undercooked and over-dusted with flour. I would've liked it to brown a bit more for colour and flavour.

Food was amazing. I usually do ask the waitresses " if you were eating here......" I took Julia at her word and had the turkey club with truffle fries. My husband had the steak Sandwich with a Caesar salad. we split everything and was great. Dessert was great I had the lemon posset and he had the orange cicle cheesecake to celebrate our anniversary. Our waitress, Julia, knew her menu and was very attentiv!

Nice patio, lunch with family. French onion soup was good, fries were great. However, trout was bland, was supposed to have cajun seasoning but that was non-existent. Reuben sandwich was not a hit either. Service was quick and friendly though.

Quality service with an outstanding view. A perfect place to spend an evening in Thunder Bay. I highly recommend Bight for a relaxed summer evening out on the waterfront. Good food with fantastic service.

Booked a reservation for one on a whim when I was in town for one night. Glad I did. Super comfortable place to dine alone, especially on the patio where I was. Server was highly attentive. Small but very local draft beer selection. Big cocktail menu. The drink "Amethyst Mine" was super yummy and beautiful. I ordered the rigatoni dish and it was great.

We were able to hold an event there last week-end and honestly dinner was wonderful. The Halloumi Salad is the Best Salad ever... I sure hope they add it back on the menu. Highly recommend

This was my first meal in Thunder Bay and I was impressed! Great commitment to sourcing their ingredients locally and stunning location right at Marina Park. Perfect for a pre or post-dinner stroll by the water. It is a little pricey, but I think they really delivered! The standout here was actually the service. I was dining solo and they really took care of me and were extremely attentive (water filled, more hot water for tea, etc.). I looked around and all the servers seemed excellent (e.g. drawing a map for American tourists and giving detailed driving instructions, playing with people's kids rather than being annoyed that there are kids in an "upscale" restaurant). When I asked for my leftovers to go and explained I'd be eating it for lunch the next day, my server threw in some extra pieces of their homemade flatbread and rosemary ricotta spread!! So good. I had their soup of the day which was a hearty beef and rice soup, nice on a fall evening. Next, I had their veggie burger which was a patty made mostly of mushrooms, seeds and beets. It was really tasty and had a nice kick to it. It came with a simple side salad. I saw them bring out their Mediterranean vegetable pizza and charcuterie boards which both seemed really popular and looked great for sharing. Overall, an excellent place to dine in Thunder Bay with zero attitude. Excellent quality and attention to detail -- this place would hold its own in downtown Toronto's competitive dining scene.

We are visiting Thunder Bay and, when leaving a museum, asked for a recommendation for a restaurant for lunch. Staff recommended Bight and my husband and I were very pleased with the view, the service, and the delicious food. I ordered the Fig and Halloumi Cheese Salad - a wonderful combination of flavors and textures, beautifully presented. My husband ordered a hamburger and a bowl of Tomato and Roasted Garlic Soup. Again, the presentation was very nice. The soup was especially noteworthy due to the full flavor of the tomatoes and the depth of the roasted garlic. I wish we had time to experience more of the items on the menu!

An overly ambitious restaurant that charges fine dining prices for their high quality ingredients. Such ingredients are misused, however, reflected in the three dishes we ordered which were the spicy ahi tuna salad, tre carnes pizza and buttermilk fried chicken. The only spotlight in the spicy ahi tuna salad seemed to be the avocado which was freshly sliced. The tuna itself was chopped finely and resembled raw hamburger meat and the accompanying noodles were soaked in soy sauce and for some reason, also chopped up into small pieces. I cannot see a reason to chop noodles into small bite sizes pieces myself. The tres carnes pizza was loaded with toppings which we initially were excited about, until the overwhelming saltiness of the cured meats lead to us picking pieces off to keep the pizza edible. At this point we're wondering if the anyone is in the kitchen that's actually tasting the food for quality before sending it out, because this pizza was quite disgusting

Loved this place! My first time in Thunder Bay and I ate here for dinner. Sat on the patio and had a fantastic server! I ordered the shrimp and lobster pasta (minus the cream per my request). It was SO GOOD! Yes, it was a little pricey, but a fun treat. I highly recommend!

You may have heard or read somewhere that Canadians, by and large, are pretty polite. Our nice neighbors to the North. It's true. On a quick trip up to Canada from the wild open spaces of Minnesota this past summer, we found ourselves in Thunder Bay and we were dangerously close to becoming, as the kids say, hangry. Following a tip from one of the polite Thunder Bayers, we found ourselves in the scenic Marina and Bight. My wife, the Spitfire Twins (our two girls - 11 and 6) and my in laws were all seated quickly on the patio at lunchtime and were treated to some warm service from start to finish. The decor is quite trendy and it appears the team put a great deal of thought into the overall look of the restaurant. I give it high marks. As for the meals, we shared the hand-cut fries and the artisan cheese board, which was a hit. Dare I say, in four decades on this Pale Blue Dot, some of the best fries I've ever tasted. For my lunch, I enjoyed the Green Apple salad. I delicious blend of spinach, hazelnuts and two perfectly-sized panko crusted goat cheese bites. All in all, a memorable experience and one I was happy to share with the kids.

The family stopped in Thunder Bay on our first trip to Ontario. As we drive through town we saw plenty of good looking restaurants but the manager of the hotel we stayed at recommended this place as "the place to sit out and dine under the evening sky." The food was pretty good with some modern flair - kimchi coleslaw - wait staff were friendly and well informed about the menu options but the meal still felt pricy for the portion and presentation. The thing that left them at 3 rather than 4 stars were the cocktails. If I'm sitting to have a $150+ meal, please charge me $3 more for a drink that has not been diluted down to only resemble the drink that was requested.

We enjoyed our meal here, we came for a light lunch and very much enjoyed it. I must say, I did have some sticker shock when the bill came...... We both ordered specialty coffees, they were very good. We shared the Vegetarian Pekoras, which were really awesome and the calamari appetizer, also very good. The weather was wonderful and so we sat on the patio, and our server was so personable and helpful. With this location, it is really about the experience, the atmosphere, being on the waterfront and enjoying a bight to eat!

Talk about fine dining at its worst! They have the best location in town, with the worst quality food and service. Either they rush you or the service is so slow that you can be there all day waiting for a glass of water. We went for dinner last night with some friends and were served in a very haphazard manner. The hostess brought it upon her self to comment about how good our food was, when clearly none of us were finishing anything that was ordered. I ordered a rib eye steak, which was chewy and tasteless. After a ginormous bill we all came home hungry!

Visiting from out of town. Service was excellent (Brian) and was very attentive! Hubbys trout was very mediocre for the price. Not hot at all. Very bland! My seafood pasta was like GLUE. The pasta was like a lump and there was very little seafood. Brian offered another dish but I declined. Wine was the best part of the meal! There was also a large party in another room and that's why the kitchen may have been overwhelmed. No excuse tho. No visit to our table from the manager. Very disappointed! Brian did comp my pasta. Thanks Brian...... now off to find something to fill my belly. Not recommended!

Upon learning of my visit to Thunder Bay, at least three people recommended that I eat at Bight. Thunder Bay is very proud of its pleasant, artful marina, and its new upscale restaurant. Bight is a fantastic place to enjoy a drink. The menu features some unique libations and two Sleeping Giant beers on tap, including the Slate Valley Saison, which I immensely enjoyed. The decor of the smaller-than-expected room is pleasant and comfortable, and the wood-accented patio appears to be pleasant. I also enjoyed the flatbread that they served with ricotta cheese before the meal - a unique twist with good flavours. While my co-worker enjoyed his steak and appreciated how it was perfectly grilled to medium rare, I had less luck with my food. The garlic and tomato soup (with mini-grilled cheese sandwich) was fine, but nothing out of the ordinary. My goat cheese and arugula salad was somewhat of a clunker, as the leaves were overly coated in a dressing that was all oil and no flavour. My pulled pork poutine, which inexplicably had arugula on top was a confusing mess. The pork was dry and not mixed in with the gravy. And the (local) cheese curds were a bit too small and didn't have that squeakiness I look for in my poutine. And I wish there were more curds. Bight is trying to introduce Thunder Bay to more gourmet options and I need to hand it to them for it. The execution needs to improve.

I was in Thunder Bay visiting family and was excited to hear that there was a fancy dancy new restaurant on the lake front! The visit there was an extreme comedy of errors, but not enough to deter me from returning. I believe they recently opened and are likely still getting some of the bugs out of their processes. What was working like crazy.... ======================== - The view! We were outside on a patio, right on the marina. It was an overcast day about 20 degrees, so it wasn't too hot to sit in the sun, and it was nice enough that we weren't cool. Perfect conditions, which I guess isn't to the credit of the restaurant, but it added to an awesome experience. - Food was tasty! We couldn't decide what to order, so we got a bunch of different appetizers. It is one of the fancier meals I have had in Thunder Bay. - Wait staff were friendly, funny and accommodating. We enjoyed our server and he had to deliver a lot of bad news to us (coming up in the next section) and he handled it with grace and humor - Ambiance - the indoor dining room is gorgeous! What happened... ============= - They recently expanded their tables onto the patio, and the restaurant is really only set up to handle the small interior. This created a long list of "we are out of this, we are out of that, we are also out of that dish as well. You can't have that appetizer, because... we just ran out). The good news, is that we were all foodies, so when they said no, we always had a second choice lined up. Sometimes we needed a third choice. If we were picky eaters, this had the potential to be a nightmare. We weren't, and we loved everything we got - amazing, amazing food! - Seating was a challenge. The restaurant was full and they offered us the lounge. The lounge is one small "row" of seats, so we wouldn't have been able to face each other at all. We got out on the patio very quickly, so we didn't have to sit there for long. Even though we had some hiccups with not getting our first (and sometimes not even our second) choice on the menu, I am confident that they will get the volume on kitchen ordering sorted out in very short order. Seeing that the whole menu is pretty amazing, the compromise for us was minimal. I have to assume that the waiters had a tough night with other customers, but we enjoyed both the meal and the service. They handled a tough situation VERY well.

Uniformly somewhere between poor,terrible and wretched.Odd - dumb wine list.Maritime view obstructed by trees and pillars/junk. Decor makes one look for a urinal or jail cell bars Irritating pseudofriendly waitress. But I had great company!!

Bight is amazing. I've been in Thunder Bay for work for two non-consecutive weeks and I've been there 3 times already. Definitely not the type of restaurant I envisioned when I found out I would be coming to Northern Ontario... in the best possible way! I've tried the mussels, halibut and chicken supreme and couldn't resist eating every bit of all three dishes. The flatbread and ricotta spread that comes out before your meal is equally tasting - I ate almost an entire serving by myself during my last visit! I also appreciate the cocktail list - the cocktails are just different enough to be unique to Bight and bring you back. Also the view is crazy gorgeous as is the styling of the restaurant. Definitely DEFINITELY worth a visit if you're in Thunder Bay! Take a walk down the marina afterwards to gush about your meal... I can guarantee you'll be raving. My boss is STILL emailing me about the halibut he had here back in May.

The location is beautiful - windows look out onto the marina and nearby fountain. The interior is classy with dark wood and polished concrete floors, and a contemporary fireplace. We came in early (4:30pm for dinner) so we were the only patrons. Service was very quick (actually that's nice and not to be taken for granted, sometimes when you're the only customers the server wanders off for long breaks and forgets about you). We had the Ukraisian Wontons, Green Apple salad, Ribeye steaks, and the brussel sprouts au gratin. Everything was spot-on and delicious. The steaks were made exactly how we ordered them (this is important, some sneaky places undercook them on purpose so that if it's not right they can still reuse the steak.) I would absolutely come back whenever we return to Thunder Bay.

Oh my, this place was good! One of the things I wanted to get when we visited Canada was poutine, and I heard that this was the place to go to. The poutine was out of this world! Lovely surroundings, friendly efficient servers, just a top notch place!

Good service with intelligently prepared twists to classics. We had the BLT and the Bacon Cheeseburger both very tasty with great fries. Nice place down by the marina, definitely worth a visit if on the area.

Wonderful location in Thunder Bay's harbor area and great outdoor seating options. The atmosphere felt a little forced-trendy, but I was pleased with all the Lake of the Woods Brewing Company beers on tap.

Went for dinner here and it took almost thirty minutes to get our appetizers. We ordered our dinner at the same time and an hour later we still didn't get our dinner. We ended up leaving after paying for the the appetizers. They didn't seem to care. WILL NEVER EVER GO BACK TO THIS RESTAURANT.

We came to the restaurant just by chance, my husband thought they had an ale that was 9% alcohol and mead came to mind so he got excited, he has been in love with mead ever since the renaissance. Well to his disappointment they did not have it, so he tried another ale which he did not like as much but they do have quite a few beers to choose from, we were sitting at the bar and the bar tender was so extremely friendly that we decided to get a app. to compliment our drinks. We tried the poutine we have had several poutines around canada and other places and by far, this was the best poutine we had ever had. Hand cut crispy fries, shredded pork with cheese curds and pork gravy topped with sour cream and baby arugula, mind blowing... We wanted to try other apps. but too full, so next time and there will be a next time.. this is a fancier restaurant, with very nice out door seating with great views. Guys you can really impress us ladies by taking us to this place, guaranteed.....

Was looking for a place to take my girlfriend to dinner for her birthday in Thunder Bay. One warning if you're going to use the map app on your phone is that many of the restaurants listed on there are closed (as in permanently). So we ended up here after trying several other places first only. I'm glad this is where we ended up. The food and drinks were pretty good, but the service was incredible. We opted to sit outside, and as night fell, it got a little chilly. Our waitress lit a heater for us and provided us with blankets (I've never experienced blankets at a restaurant but I wasn't about to turn one down). They then put on a very romantic playlist, and it was an incredible enjoyable evening. I'd say it may run a little towards overpriced, but I thoroughly enjoyed my experience here, as did my girlfriend.

Popped up to Thunder Bay for the day while visiting MN north shore. Saw ad for bight and headed over for lunch. WOW. We loved it. Poutine was amazing! Yummy pork, squeaky cheese curds! The tomato and garlic soup was the best tomato soup I've ever had (with a mini grilled cheese!). Drinks were very well mixed and refreshing. Kid's burger was awesome. Husband's salad and pizza were both great. Our server was quite lovely and helpful as well. What an amazing find! We didn't know what to expect for food in TB... but we certainly didn't think we'd find out new favourite restaurant! Can't wait to visit again!

A friend and I were visiting from out of town and this establishment was recommended by a couple of people at our hotel. We felt that the atmosphere was cold, though I understand some people prefer that. The food was overpriced for what you get. We were there for lunch. And the bill was over $50.00. My fish was very dry and not all that flavorful. Fries were cold and limp, like they had been sitting for quite a while. My friend had fish tacos, and they were dry as well. Our waitress was not very friendly and not attentive. It took quite a while to get our bill. It's not a place that I would recommend.

You can not beat the beautiful location and atmosphere of this restaurant. By far the best in Thunder Bay. I have been here about 10 times and the food has always been a bit questionable for myself and the people with me. I have had some truly great dishes here but more often then not I'm left disappointed with a large bill. Great place for a drink though! The rhubarb and eye cocktail they have is amazing.

We live in the US & so the opportunity to eat quality poutine doesn't happen very frequently. So when it was time to take Grandma for a Christmas week lunch, we made the executive decision to try Bight once we saw the delicious description of poutine on their menu. Loved the building & architecture- very bright and modern interior. Our server was quite friendly and helpful with only a few minor mistakes (understandable since they've only been in operation a short time). The poutine appetizer was very good (I had this come out with everyone's lunch). It is very nice-sized, perfect for sharing if you're eating it as an appetizer, and only slightly too much food for me to eat as my main course at lunch. The shredded pork and gravy were delicious, and I thought the arugula & sour cream on top were a nice touch. Don't like arugula? Just push it aside, no worries. I also ordered the Winter Apple salad, and that was outstanding. Beautiful red and green base with warm panko-encrusted goat cheese. Super tasty. My husband had the fish & chips, which he said was great. All in all, a great experience. If I lived here, I'd definitely come around often. Highly recommend if you're in the waterfront area or just want some good poutine. p.s. Yelp won't let me add the link to the Facebook website, but if you google it, you can find the menu.

Checked it out one day- peeked inside. The atmosphere was dark and plain. Wide open spaces and tables/seating were very close together. Not inviting or impressive. We looked at the menu - very expensive and limited. We decided not to try it. There are SO many other great restaurants downtown with great atmospheres, better menus and cheaper prices- why would we want to eat here? Sorry just not for me.

Absolutely superb. My husband and I loved it so much there that it was where he proposed. They provided fantastic service and when we went outside so he could 'pop the question', they encouraged everyone to watch. When we came back in, the entire restaurant applauded us and they even brought out champagne. It made the whole experience feel movie-like! The view is lovely, the atmosphere modern and the food, so so delicious.

We ate on the patio. While the waitress was friendly, the service was less than average. After ordering drinks and entrees, it took more than 30 minutes to get our food. My first choice wasn't available. The waitress did not come back to the table to verify if all was good...it wasn't. We had to wait an additional 10 minutes before she returned. Salt and pepper were requested and none was brought to our table. I sat waiting with my Mexican salad in front of me while the pepper never arrived. An additional pizza was ordered and it took an HOUR to arrive. Drink orders took a very long time to arrive. And at no time during our over 2 hour stay did staff come over to ask if all was good. The food was indeed good but the service was very poor and the bill was north of $275 for 3 of us. In a service based industry, this kind of service is inexcusable.

I was recommended here by a friend saying they have the best Old Fashioned in the city. I think he was right. I would highly recommend it! View is just behind pier 3, inside is combination of modern/vintage styling. Our server was very nice. I can't speak to the food as we only had a liquid dinner, but I will be back to try it sometime.

I was excited to visit this new, higher end restaurant but ended up disappointed. For the prices, you'd assume this restaurant was a nicer, fancier one but to be honest the decor/atmosphere, not to mention the appearance of the staff, was equal to Kelsey's/Montana's. I would have liked to see the staff in something other than jeans and a Tshirt. The service was very slow, by the time they brought the main course our stomachs had already settled and most of us got our dinner to go. All of the meat ordered was over cooked, although they did offer a 25% discount on one meal due to the poorly cooked steak. I ordered the chicken and fennel pizza and it was bland and tasteless; I couldn't taste the goat cheese, the chicken was dry and there was absolutely no flavour. I might try it again but am very hesitant due to the exorbitant price.

Decent choice for TB. Some menu items are good (like the poutine, pizzas and the quinoa salad). Others are a bit too experimental/executed poorly. Nice space that's usually quiet. Nicer when the weather is decent and you can sit on the patio. Priced a bit high, but the quality of the ingredients usually matches that price.

Very nice. Had the special which was a Cajun seafood crock. Shrimp scallops clams crab corn etc. Great.

The service, location and atmosphere was all good. I enjoyed the fancy drinks and their salads were pretty delicious. I know everyone else I was with enjoyed their meals, but I ordered the veggie burger and it was just a mushy mess. It had the consistency of a thick humus. They really need to re-assess that. I'd go again though.

Having been to Bight for my first time tonight, I'm quite surprised by the negative comments. I took my parents out for their anniversary dinner; the soup special was fantastic, as was the poutine starter. The lamb shank I ordered was cooked to perfection, as were the halibut and chicken dishes my parents ordered. The dessert (mascarpone cheesecake) was delicious, and our server was timely and very pleasant. I'd definitely go back again. Good job! Carlo C. from Thunder Bay.

I was prompted to write this review because I was disappointed that they had only received 31/2 star rating thus far.. I have been there 8 or 9 times this past year and am always amazed at the upscale and innovative menus selections. All lovingly prepared.. They also have a Sommelier on staff who is very knowledgeable and helpful. She continually searches out fine wines that don't break the bank. The beautiful marina setting sets this restaurant firmly in the top 5 places in town ideal for a special get together. Do t be afraid to share , the portions are not skimpy.. As usual, Reservations can be helpful for groups larger than 4 to 6.

Ok food but crowded and 'lost' our reservation. Also spilled food on a guest. Ruined a dress and only offered a free desert. Won't go back

Soup, that was the special for today was terrible. Flavoured water with a few pieces of celery and tomato. Barley was not even close to being cooked. And no beef in a beef barley soup. Way overpriced for what it was.

Beautiful restaurant with a great location. Lots of local foods on the menu and there are many options to choose from. Unfortunately I'm not a huge fan of the food but I am sure it is just a matter of personal taste.
