Bigo Cafè Genova

Food was ok but the beer was great. This was the only place we ate in italy that they asked for a tip. Which offended my Finnish friends. I'm American so I was used to tipping. I ordered a multi topping pizza and my friend order the tuna pizza (seems to be in every menu over there). She loved her pizza, my toppings were not together but I assume that is a culture thing. Guys ordered pasta. Keep in mind all pasta over there is only cooked to aldente. Probably wouldn't eat there again because it is made to attract alot to tourists. Place filled quickly when the cruise ship comes in.

Great pizza! Much bigger than they led me to believe. Can easily share a pizza with 3 people. Good drinks too. Free wifi. Nice comfortable atmosphere by the water.

We had fritto di mare, a margherita pizza, and cocktails (Aperol and Hugo). Overall, it was a pleasant experience. The pizza was really delicious, and the prices were quite affordable. As for the fritto di mare, it wasn’t bad, but I’ve definitely had fresher and tastier ones in Genoa. The cashier woman was very kind and welcoming, which we appreciated. However, the waiters were a bit indifferent, not rude, but not particularly friendly either. All in all, an okay experience, especially if you’re looking for a budget-friendly option.

Escaping from a windy afternoon I found this place. And it was just perfect for my coffee time. Inside was very warm and it was very spacious, didn’t feel crowded. Service was fast and efficient. Waiter tried his best to speak English and when asked for recommendations for a cake he suggested me pistachio cake. It was above and beyond my expectations. Amazing! Perfect to enjoy with my cappuccino. If you come here try that cake…

A great experience and some spectacular views all long the way up and especially when you are all the way up. It’s a quick elevator ride and you get 360 degrees, unobstructed views of the city and port. You can spot the historical and iconic structures of the city and they are displayed inside the elevator as to what direction to look for to spot each of those. You could spend about an hour for the whole ride but definitely worth the experience, especially on a nice sunny day.

Very beautiful spot with a view of city and the harbour with all the ships and cruises. Really interesting to see the design and history of the port. It's a very old port and the engineering and architecture in building this port is really amazing! Really nice to visit this place when you explore Genova.
