Stayed there a week. Lovely property and people. Watched NYE fireworks from our balcony. Limited restaurant menu but they seemed to have perfected what they do offer. The burger is outrageous and worth going out of your way to go there for lunch. Gorgeous setting on the water as well. Had a wonderful time. The employees made us feel like it was our second home. Always willing to help and constantly going above and beyond. So charming and relaxing.

Top tier restaurant! Amazing food and stunning location. I had an outstanding dinner at Valentine's day and that would be a memory of mine forever. The service was one the most attentive and professional I have ever experienced. The menu is well balanced and there's plenty to choose from. The tuna tartare is something special indeed but also the tenderloin was no joke. I will definitely be back, probably at sunset so I will enjoy the golden hour while tasting gorgeous food. Highly recommend!

Wonderful experience in this lovely boutique hotel. Location in Petermaii is perfect to enjoy the best restaurants on the island, nightlife, and walks admiring beautiful architecture.||People are warm and welcoming.|Food is fantastic.|This is not a resort, it is an enjoyable, unique experience. Highly recommend.

This was our second stay at Bijblauw and we have truly enjoyed both times each in different rooms. The staff is kind and helpful. The hotel is quaint and ocean front and prices are very reasonable. We didn't have any issues with sound from the city or the restaurant and the beds are reasonably comfortable. We would definitely stay again!

This review is for the restaurant only. As my husband aptly put it, the service was as cold as our poached eggs. As a former server, I understand when a restaurant is busy and a server is slammed that things will take a little longer. I can emphasize with the staff. But when you combine incredibly slow service with a downright surly and unfriendly server, who is visibly irritated when you want to send your cold egg back to the kitchen, AND the food is mediocre,it’s just unacceptable.

From the moment we stepped off the plane, the staff was so accommodating. Arranging our airport transfer. Assisting us with a car rental, to remembering our favorite drinks. Staff were always kind and courteous. And the food! They are absolute magicians in the kitchen. Every dish was presented as a feast for the eyes and stomach. Well done everyone. We will be back! Great staff. On the water with steps into the sea. small pool next to the restaurant (not on the water like some of the neighboring hotels). no elevators and a fair amout of stairs if that is an issue. easily walkable to restaurants and the bridge. rooms basic, hotel restaurant good. mini fridge, safe, and coffee maker. will need adapters if from US. quiet, small boutique hotel. we were there 3 nights exploring Willemstad before going to Sandals. This is not a "resort" but as a "base" with charm, food, and location it fits the bill. We were 2 adults per room.. There was construction next door which hindered the view a bit from the terrace room but still enjoyed being waterfront, but no significant noise. would highly recommend depending on what one is looking for I did not compare prices to neighboring hotels. Enjoyed!

great location, wonderful, smiling & helpful staff. Small room, but who stays inside uin Curaçao? good service at the restaurant. Really loved it|I don´t recommend it for people with mobility problems, because there is no lift, just stairs, to the first floor.
