Just back from a 1 night break with friends . We had a room each. On arrival we were greeted by a lovely helpful receptionist who stored our luggage until our rooms were ready . We walked the dog on the beach and returned for the complementary hot drinks and tasty cakes.we also had a free parking pass for 24 hours. We parked right outside which was great. We decided to eat our evening meal at the hotel . There was a good choice and we ended up with the pizzas . We actually ate them in the comfort of the sofa lounge .We all slept well and enjoyed the hotel breakfast . We enjoyed a walk along the Cleveland way to Cayton bay and back and the weather was sunny which was great for February.We will definitely return - thank you

I stayed here for 2 nights. The service was pretty good, and the location was excellent with a view of the Cliff Bridge. However, my room—specifically the bathroom—was terribly small, which is definitely a big downside. I barely managed to wash myself. I feel like I should have requested a different room. I wasn’t expecting it to be that small, to be honest. However, I liked the food served on the ground floor. I ordered risotto for dinner, and it was really good. It would be a wise choice for dining here.

We’ve stayed at The Bike & Boot in Scarborough a few times now and it’s been excellent every single visit. The staff are superb — genuinely friendly, welcoming, and clearly proud of the place. The food is consistently good, and there’s a solid selection of beers to choose from, which always goes down well after a long walk.||It’s totally dog-friendly and properly set up for people travelling with furry friends, not just paying lip service to it. Having dedicated showers and dog-cleaning facilities downstairs is a huge bonus and makes life so much easier after a day out.||The location is spot on. It’s just a short walk to the beach, which is perfect for early morning walks with our dog Cooper, and equally great for relaxed evening strolls. The town centre is also close by, so it’s easy to head out for a wander whenever you feel like it.||We stayed in the attic rooms, which were fantastic — spacious, comfortable, and with great views to top it off. All round, it’s a brilliant place to stay and one we’ll keep coming back to.

A fantastic hotel that I would highly recommend to all cyclists, and anybody else. A superb secure storage room for bikes with excellent cleaning facilities alongside pumps etc. The lounge area is warm and cosy with hot drinks available for free. Cosy rooms, comfy bed and a great shower!

First time I had stayed at a Bike and Boot, very impressed. Nice quirky decor, very helpful friendly staff. I had sea view room on 3rd floor, small lift so no need to carry case upstairs. Very dog friendly||Room spacious, spotlessly clean, great view over south beach and the sun rise. Fridge in room with mini bar and small bottle of fresh milk which was replenished each day, so much nicer than the horrid little plastic cartons of long life milk.||The breakfast, buffet had a nice selection.||Good choice on restaurant menu, all well presented. The wine was very reasonably priced.||Coffee and cake available in lounge at 4pm. Very nice touch, lounge too dark to read book in.||The facilities for cleaning dog brilliant. With dirty dog enter hotel via few steps to basement area where 2 dog shampooing baths and professional groomer style dryer. Loads of towels for wiping down dog. Then up stairs to entrance hall.||Very accessible by train, and trains run along coast to Filey and on to Bridlington.

Had a lovely stay at this very comfortable and cozy hotel. Really friendly staff. Nice food. Nice rooms with great showers. Also really thoughtful amenities such as Doggie baths doggie drying. Bike storage, bike cleaning area and bike maintenance area. The hotel is in a great location for the south bay.

Lovely stay and we’ll definitely return. Super dog/cyclist/hiker friendly but you don’t need to be any of those things to enjoy your stay. Really nicely decorated and felt so cosy and welcoming. Lovely lounges to relax in with one having a lovely view of the sea. You can buy cocktails in the attached bar and enjoy them in the lounges. There’s free hot drinks and cake (served at 4pm daily - such a fun touch). They provided a little dog bed/blanket and a cute duck toy which our dog absolutely loved! We booked the boot room so knew it would be small but it was fine for us, wife and I could move around ok, felt very cosy. There’s an iron (and board), hairdryer, coffee machine and TV with chrome cast on. In December we found parking outside very easy.

We stayed here again this weekend for the 3rd time this year. The views out of the hotel are stunning, the staff are friendly and very welcoming and it's a brilliant place to take our dog. There's not much parking out the front, but there's a lot of street parking nearby and there's also a multi-story car park round the corner. Our room was large, clean, really comfortable and relaxing. This visit we ate at the hotel for the first time and that was also excellent - the staff were great, the food awesome and we were made to feel really welcome. A wonderful hotel that is in a great location for town, beach and Spa access. I would highly recommend this place, especially if you're a dog owner.
