Pro mechanics and pro service! The staff are very knowledgeable and upfront. I am an everyday rider on a new Surly and I appreciate the work they do. I recently had my brakes adjusted, my front wheel realigned, and my rear wheel replaced, (due to a manufacturer defect). They worked with the company without any issues and also replaced my cassette due to heavy riding. My bike rides amazingly now!

Google
Cool store, I went in to get a pedal removed from my bike and brought pedals to swap and put on. I was definitely grateful for the pedal that was taken off, because I tried various times. Any way, the pedals I brought didn’t fit, I was asked if I wanted to replace the pedals. I inquired about the price for similar pedals and the set was brought out. I was ridiculed for wanting to save and potentially buy pedals else where. Nonetheless I agreed to buy the pedals, then was proceeded to be called cheap.. great times!

Just got my road worn bike back and it's on point! feels like new. I've been there multiple times for different bikes as I ride a lot. They are the best! and go above and beyond. straight forward when explaining costs. Staff are top notch and super nice.

just off the whim bought a bike here, had a fantastic experience, great service the employees were fun to be around and very knowledgable. Left my fiancé's bike there to get fixed as well. Thank you

Google
11/10 - this is my first time going to a bike shop where I genuinely feel like the people working there are trying to have my best interest in mind, rather than squeeze money out of me. The staff is willing to talk you through the process + educate you on the why. They deliver bad news with grace and compassion. Plus double bonus - it’s a queer space!! Easily the best bike shop I’ve ever been to by far.

Robin built my dream bike (Custom Ti Gravel bike) and did an amazing job!! Not only bringing expertise, but the ability to translate my wants and needs into bike tech, and all of the professional and communicativeness you could ever ask for.

Google
Very sweet and accommodating staff except for one woman who took it upon herself to get mad when I wished to wait outside with my bike rather than leave it unattended. When I calmly and politely expressed my wish to stay with my Colnago and wait to pick up my younger brother’s bike, rather than leave it in the street with an 11-year old she got incredibly uppity. It’s a shame that such a great staff should be tainted by someone who can’t conduct themselves in a more appropriate manner, or simply not get mad over something so trivial.

Cool spot, very friendly and helpful. Being women-owned and operated is refreshing and helpful for lots of people. Def coming back!

Yelp
Stopped by to get my bike tuned up! Since whether is nice and wanted to take my dog biking They are amazing! My first time I just wanted to make sure my bike was safe. Second time was a tune up with changing wires and also break pads The tune up was about 100, break pads 20 and rewiring was 40 ish. I had them print out the receipt because I wasn't sure if I could do the dates they had available since they were so busy, but I ended up texting back giving them estimate order number paid a 50 dollar deposit over text which was awesome! Since I didn't know when to drop off bike. They let me know which day was gonna be drop off and pick up after on phone deposit Always efficient and helpful and cost conscious. They also helped me install me bell.

Yelp
After I got hit by a motorscooter and my bike took the impact, I needed a custom front wheel build as my previous rim was damaged and separating. All that could be saved was my previous generator light hub. I asked around, and a few friends recommended Bike Plant. The shop quoted me a price, which was a few hundred, but still lower than a competing much larger shop where I've had mixed service previously. I had to wait a week, which was a while, but fair enough, it's a small shop and busy, so that's not a bad sign. When I returned for pickup, the build was good, the wheel is strong and true, and I feel confident with it rolling underneath me. Beside that, they are clearly DIY or Die radical bike punks, and honestly there is much less of that in NYC than there used to be, so it's great to support them and have a high quality shop that I know and trust. I would definitely return to them in the future if I need more services.

Yelp
Awesome neighborhood bike shop. Bought my bike online but had it shipped to myself and needed help assembling. Took it to Bike Planet and the crew took care of it all! Amazing service and responsive via IG!!

Yelp
Great service! Friendly. Fast thinking. Very down with the people vibes (not some big company). Genuine neighborhood shop. Lots of customization options. Covid safe. Quality repairs. They converted my racing bike into a street bike Hours seem to sometimes vary / aren't updated, just call ahead of time.

Yelp
This is honestly probably my favorite bike shop I've ever worked with in my life. They are always friendly and helpful and do great work. The prices are reasonable and there is never any pretentiousness that often comes with bike shops. They carry a bunch of cool accessories and are involved in community initiatives, they even gave me free cookies once when I was having a particularly bad day!

Yelp
Felt they were overpriced and kinda slow. Got charged $38 for front break pad replacement.

Yelp
Brought my 2yo hybrid here for the second time this year, this time to remedy a chain/cassette issue and have some other adjustments made. The team quickly diagnosed the issue and had my baby ready for pickup half a day earlier than expected. Friendly, efficient, effective, and reliable are the adjectives I'd use for this business. Also (because we all care about this) reasonably priced!
