BIKESCAPE Ebike & Winter Adventures

We had an absolute blast on a family fat bike tour. Our guide was super knowledgeable and well equipped to make sure we stayed warm and toasty throughout the trip. Bonus that we saw elk along the trail too! Highly recommend if you're after a fun way to experience beautiful Banff!

We booked a private one-on-one cross-country ski lesson with Bikescape for our 6-year-old, who had never worn skis before, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. From start to finish, everything was easy, fun, and stress-free — especially knowing that Bikescape has access to rentals, so we didn’t need to bring or buy any gear. Perfect for families visiting Banff and wanting to try something new. Our instructor, Coach Clare, was absolutely amazing with kids — so patient, positive, encouraging, and incredibly informative. She explained everything in a way a child could understand, kept the lesson playful and engaging, and built confidence every step of the way. There was lots of laughter, smiles, and genuine excitement, which made learning feel like play instead of a “lesson.” If you’re visiting Banff and looking for fun family activities, kid-friendly winter experiences, or a beginner cross-country ski lesson, I can’t recommend Bikescape highly enough. They made our child’s first time on skis joyful, confidence-building, and full of fun. We’ll definitely be back!

Great private tour - catered to me and my husband’s different level of skills and sense of adventure! Coach Claire (who also doubled as a photographer) was knowledgeable and passionate about mountain biking and Banff! I would recommend to anyone who is considering, even if you haven’t been in the saddle in a while. It is too gorgeous not to get out there! Also homemade cookies were legendary! Thanks for a great time! We will be back. ❤️

We had an absolute blast on our snowy fat bike ride! Our guide was exceptional and gave us a great overview of the history of Banff. The riding was exhilarating and the perfect activity to do with our teenage son! We’d highly recommend for anyone!

My time with Anna-Lisa as my cross-country instructor and tour guide was amazing. From the moment we met, her passion for cross-country skiing and deep knowledge of the mountain were evident. What truly stood out was Anna-Lisa’s infectious enthusiasm and patience. She celebrated small victories and offered constructive feedback that never felt discouraging. Over our five-day sessions, I learned both classic and skate cross-country skiing. As a guide, Anna-Lisa was exceptional. She curated routes that matched my skill level while introducing me to breathtaking off-piste area and hidden powder stashes I’d have never found alone. Its truly an unforgettable experience thanks to an incredible instructor and guide.

I went cross-country skiing as a complete beginner and was honestly a bit scared about what the experience would be like. But Clare and Bob made the whole day amazing! They were patient, encouraging, and explained everything in a way that made me feel comfortable right away. I learned so much and ended up having a ton of fun. Amazing first-time Fat eBike experience. Our 2 families with teens/tweens (8 total) had an absolute blast with Clare and Celine. Everyone in our group had biked before, but have never tried winter fat biking. Everything about this tour was amazing! The guides were so much fun and accommodating to the specific needs of our 2 families. We did several tours while in Banff, and this was unanimously everyone's favorite. Highly recommend this tour if you’re after a bit of adrenaline, seeing scenic sights of Banff from a different perspective and a lot of adventure!
