I absolutely adore coming to Biku for their afternoon high tea. I come here at least once a month to rewind, relax and have a pleasant afternoon treat. Their high tea selection is so comforting and all their drinks, tea or otherwise, are perfect. The atmosphere is super calming and wonderfully decorated as a traditional joglo. I prefer sitting outside and enjoying their always perfectly sunlit outdoor area. Unlike other high tea places, you don't need to make a reservation in advance and you can just show up as and when you feel like which I appreciate since I don't have to make a booking as I usually do.

Such a gorgeous place to enjoy lunch & afternoon tea. The tea menu is wide with so many incredible choices. The afternoon tea is a delicious mix of sweet & savoury & so fresh. One of the reasons I always come to Biku on my visits to Bali as they use serve using Royal Doulton’s Old Country Roses. This was my dear friend Liz’s signature chinaware & coming to Biku always makes me think of her & how much she would have loved it there. The staff are that perfect blend of professional & friendly. The carrot cake is amazing & perfect to take away. The colonial architecture is another bonus.

I would give 4.5 stars if I could. The effort that they gave me for my birthday was greatly appreciated. So sweet! The atmosphere is old world Asian colonial. They even brought little chairs for our handbags! The service was great for the start. They brought our teas and the jam & cream for the scones and then we didn’t see the food for another 45 minutes, which was 15 minutes too long. The food was plentiful. Traditional was good, nothing outstanding but great value for under $20. It was a lovely group experience.

We came to Biku for a friend’s birthday high tea and had such a beautiful time. The whole setting is charming and a little unusual — in the best way. I chose the Asian-style high tea, which was such a fun twist on the traditional. While not every flavour was to my personal taste, I really enjoyed most of it and appreciated the creativity behind each bite. I ordered the oolong tea, and unlike the others, mine was served with a full tea ceremony — such a beautiful and unexpected surprise. It really added something special to the whole experience. Highly recommend Biku for anyone looking for a memorable, elegant experience in Bali!

Loved the atmosphere and services at this restaurant. The food presentation is very neat. The taste is really good. The live band (sing local song) is a plus points. Kudos to the band and the two female singers and to our server ULAN.This restaurant is famous with their carrot cake which is very delicious ( not too sweet). Restaurant souvenirs are available for sale. 2nd dinner: great food We ordered pasta pesto, marinaded balsamic chicken, mixed satay, cocktails and biku thai tea plus a dessert (strawberry with merengue). Kudos to our server ASIH. Note: the most important thing, the prices is affordable. And the serving amount is perfect not too small not too big. Perfect for a good meal.

Absolutely incredible Balinese/Indonesian food. The place is situated at the very end of a small alley, so it’s quiet and peaceful. Decor is wonderful, and this is an establishment with no live music so it’s quiet and peaceful. The food wasn’t the authentic Indonesian street food we expected, but extremely wholesome and hearty Balinese/Indonesian dishes cooked extremely well. We got the Nasi Campur and grilled fish - and the meats were well done, but what really blew me away were the vegetables on the side. Incredible fresh and crunchy, even when simmered in curry and stewed in sauce. Light on the palette but comforting on the stomach. The desserts come in a separate menu and they all sound super fantastic. We didn’t have the space for it, but will definitely be back to try. Especially the pavlova 🙏

This charming restaurant immediately drawn in by its warm and inviting atmosphere. The local decor added a lovely touch, making us feel like we were experiencing authentic culture. But what truly impressed us was the food - every dish we tried was delicious, with the beef rendang being a standout favourite. The service team was also top-notch, attentive and friendly without being intrusive. Overall, a wonderful dining experience
