Campsites are clean and well maintained. They're on the smaller side but you're not right on top of each other. Pool is well kept, tables with umbrellas and plenty of loungers. Great mini golf course. Kids playground is nice, even lit up late at night. The river is just a short walk down a path. What really makes it though, is the staff is amazing here; friendly and helpful.

What a gem of a campground! Even though we only stayed for one night, it was clear this place is something special. The bathhouse was amazing—super clean and well-maintained. Our camping spot was perfectly flat, making setup quick and easy. Each site came with a sturdy picnic table and a great fire pit, which we really appreciated. The laundry rooms were spotless and well-equipped, and the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. There’s an awesome pet area, and the mini golf course looked was so much fun—we just didn’t have time to enjoy it all on this trip. We’ll definitely be back for a longer stay. 100% recommend and 100% planning to return!

Great location, right on the Yellowstone River. My tent site had lots of goose poop on it, but not really sure that's management's fault, just a comment. The folks they had working the office when I checked in were very professional and helpful. They have individual shower rooms that are spacious, clean, and updated. I was only there one night but wouldn't have any issues with staying more. Would stay here anytime I'm in the area.

There seemed to be a lot of activities happening here to keep kids and adults busy. Plus they have a great playground along with mini golf, dog park, and pool. Sites were gravel/grass and nearby, but adequate. If you're looking for brewery to visit - we tried several in the area and the recommendation is obvious - go to 105 Brewing located at 815 Yellowstone River Rd.

Do not stay at the KOA Billings, MT location unless you stay in a full hookup site. We were in the old section of the campgrounds that had water and electric but no sewer hookup, these make up over half the campsites at this KOA. The full hookup sites were nice but very overpriced KOA for all of the sites. We selected the site with no sewer since we were there for only one night, selected this KOA based upon the picture they showed online for this type of site. The reality is nothing like the picture. We pretty much had the same site as the one this KOA shows online. See the attached picture of our spot and go look at the one online at this KOA website that looks to be the same site. Note in our picture there is a barrel with caution tape just steps outside of our door, this is the electrical hookup for the site next to us, apparently broken. The sites are extremely close together. The KOA picture doesn't show the water and electrical hookup next to the RV, makes it look like a big site and it isn't. We had an old 5th wheel next to us, no one was ever at the trailer and the side of the 5th wheel had a tarp hanging over it. This spot made us feel almost like being in a homeless encampment, several long term campers around us and the RV across from us had bra and underwear hanging off the awning support. Not what you expect to get for $93 a night! Avoid this KOA unless you are willing to pay $125 a night or more to get away from the old part of this KOA.

The staff is quite nice and the location is easy to get to. The cable did not work at my site but the wifi made up for it. The bathrooms are updated nicely. My only suggestion is that they be consistently and logically appointed. Some had no bench, Most had no shelf for your shampoos, etc. so you had to place them on the floor. In one bathroom I waited 15 minutes for hot water and it never came. The next door facility worked well. Overall a great time, and how could I forget...an AWESOME dog play area!!!

Staff is incredible! Live music watching The Rangers was awesome! Loved the heated pool, 18 hole putt putt golf, path to the Yellowstone River, Ice cream cart, BEAUTUFUL showers, and huge selection store. Will definitely return. We're a family of 8 and EVERYONE had a great time! Thank you so much.
