Very nice campground! Staff was very friendly and fun. Cute onsite store. Bathrooms were clean and so was the entire campground. Awesome dog area! Pool was clean and the mini golf looked nice. Nice little path to the Yellowstone river. I liked the poured patio, swing and fire pit.

We stop here a couple of times a year on our way through and it’s always the same—clean, quiet and friendly. Happened to get a patio pull through on the end of a row with a fire pit this time, which was really nice! Played mini golf, did laundry in the nice clean laundry room, took the Border Collies to the dog park several times. Love it here!

We stopped here for one night while we were en route from Yellowstone to Mount Rushmore. We had a patio site which was close to the store, pool, laundry etc. It was a level gravel site with a cement patio. The sites had enough space between them that we didn't feel on top of each other, and there were nice trees and gardens throughout the campground. ||Everything was tidy and clean, we didn't see any of the junky areas you see at some KOAs. The pool looked nice and the mini golf was a lot of fun - and a really nice course for a campground!! (And it was free!)||The store was great and had everything we needed and more! Firewood was pricey but dry and delivered right to our campsite, so it was worth it. ||Laundry facilities were very good, clean, and there were quite a few washers and dryers available. ||Dog park was one of the nicest we've seen in a campground. It was a good size, lots for the dogs to explore, and even lit at night until about 10pm. ||Wifi needs improvement. We couldn't get it to stay connected while we were at our site. When we sat up near the store it seemed to work better but that wasn't ideal.

Oh my gosh. The nicest campground In America I swear. So beautiful. Huge sites, pool which even has lift for handicapped. Dog park and special facilities like no other. Campground host so very kind and helpful and has the nicest campground store u will ever come across. Very reasonable, so very clean and pretty at end of the road. Go there! Don’t pass it up. Apparently was the very first KOA in America!!!!

We really enjoyed our stay here! The mini golf is fun and they have a nice playground as well. The staff here were friendly and gave us discounts on subsequent nights, which we appreciated! Love that it’s by the Yellowstone River too. Definitely recommend this KOA!

Well laid out campground. They do a lot of maintenance to keep it looking this good. It's also a very QUIET campground. That is so unusual these days as most campsites are just by an offramp to a freeway. The only thing we'd like to see is fewer boulders used to mark sites. For a large rv it can be tricky to maneuver through some sites. Overall this is one of the nicer KOAs at which we've stayed!

Loved this campground didnt even know this was the very first KOA until we arrived, thought that was pretty neat. This campground was well taken care of. Great customer service. Bathhouse nice and clean. So much to do for the kids, mini golf and huge play area. Big fenced in dog play area. Sites are nice and level, we have a 45ft and fit perfectly. Will definitely come back here!

Nicest KOA I ever stayed at, and I have stayed at many. Great family location. Nice pool, playground and free putt putt course for the kids, or adults. Huge and nicest dog park I have seen at an RV park. Sites are level and clean. Premium sites are very nice with concrete pads and patios. Have these unique sites with a private dog pen so your pets can sit outside with you and not be on a leash. Pens are small but have a shelter and 2 Adirondack chairs. Office, bathrooms, and laundry are super nice and clean. Staff is very nice. The park was quiet at nite even through they were sold out and their were a lot of families with kids. The park sits at the edge of the Yellowstone River which is nice for views and walks. Would definitely recommend this place and will return.
