Bill's Wimbledon Restaurant

Came here for the pancakes 10/10 and our host Nikki was the absolute best! Made my friend’s birthday really special and had great attention to detail! Had a lovely time and would recommend! ❤️‍🩹✨

Since we moved to Wimbledon, Bill’s has been our favorite place to dine out. The food is delicious and a cozy atmosphere. The staff are always welcoming and friendly too!

Had a lovely meal this evening with my friend. Food was so lovely. Staff were excellent and catered for my allergies. I do love bills wimbledon it never disappoints and great value for money. We had the festive set menu was really good.

We visited Bill's in Wimbledon for a family meal. While the food was genuinely good—we particularly enjoyed the burgers and the vibrant Mediterranean-style plates—the lack of cleanliness in the dining area was a major disappointment. When you look up, the industrial-style ceiling, light fixtures, and cable trays are covered in thick, heavy layers of dust. It looks like these areas haven't seen a cloth or a deep clean in months. It’s very off-putting to be eating a meal while sitting directly under visible grime and dust buildup. The staff was friendly, and the atmosphere at the table level was nice, but the management needs to address the hygiene of the overhead fixtures immediately. Great food shouldn't have to be paired with such a dusty environment. We’d love to return, but only if the restaurant receives the deep clean it clearly needs.

Had an amazing dinner at Bill’s today! The pancakes were absolutely delicious—light, fluffy, and perfectly cooked. Definitely some of the best I’ve had in a while. What made the experience even better was the service from Scarlett. She was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made us feel really welcome from the moment we arrived. It’s always nice when great food is matched with great service. I’ll definitely be coming back again!

Decent burgers and kids menu. Good range of food. Nicely decorate with pleasant atmosphere. Always busy though and service can be slow but our waiter Lida was fantastic. Attentive, friendly, and professional. I think the managers could improve though. Sometimes it’s obvious that they are sick of their jobs and that sets a precedent for the rest of the staff. But Lida was ace and saved the day!

As always, we had the most fabulous time at Bill’s Wimbledon. Niki was our server and she was absolutely wonderful. As a coeliac, eating out can sometimes feel stressful, but Niki always goes above and beyond to make sure my meals are completely gluten free and that I feel comfortable and looked after. It genuinely makes such a difference. We recently came in to celebrate my partner’s birthday and were treated so well — it made the whole evening feel really special. All of the staff at Bill’s Wimbledon are consistently friendly, accommodating, and welcoming — and they’re always so lovely to our dog, Albi too! The food is always fantastic and we genuinely love coming back. Thank you again for another lovely experience — and a special thank you to Niki! We’ll be back soon

On our return home from watching a football match, we decided to go to Bill’s. So glad we did, as always we received a warm welcome and were shown to our table. Our waitress Zoe looked after us very well throughout our meal. I thoroughly enjoyed the Sea Bass and side of fries, accompanied by a rather good bottle of Pinot Grigio. My partner had the Vegan Burger, which he enjoyed too. We were tempted by the Chocolate Brownie also the Chocolate Salted Caramel tart, both were delicious. We had such a good time at Bill’s and look forward to visiting there again soon.

One of favorite meals during our trip was here at Bill's! Amazing service at a beautifully decorated restaurant. We really enjoyed the friendly service and tasty food. I was recovering from a mild cold and was so happy to see their options for a fresh juice with turmeric and fruit. The pancakes were so perfectly cooked, soft and crispy edges plus the fresh fruit on top made it even better. My husband really enjoyed his full English breakfast as well. One of favorite food experiences while we were visiting the area of Richmond.

After my meal with my family, we were told the only way to pay is by card. Very disappointing. I wont be returning.

When I first spotted Bill's original restaurant in Brighton, for some reason, I got excited that it had been started by Bill Grainger, one of my favourite TV chefs. I did eventually find out that this wasn't the case but nonetheless, the Bill's restaurant chain has gone from strength to strength and they've been popping up all over London Some friends and I popped in here for dinner before a movie at the Odeon next door. The restaurant is cleverly divided into areas by grills and you'll find produce that you can buy scattered around the restaurant The menu consists of British classics with modern twists, mainly with unusual ingredients. It is a well written menu and I can see why the restaurant is successful. By the way, they serve food al day from breakfast to afternoon tea to dinner We shared chicken liver parfait and deep fried calamari to start. Both were solid and a good start to the meal. Oh, forgot to mention an amazing chocolate brownie milkshake. Yup, read that, ignore the guilty thoughts of the calorie count and order one. It tastes as good as it sounds! For mains, it was caramelised pork belly, duck pie and fish pie. Again, all solid though the duck pie could have done with more duck. The most interesting dish was their version of eton mess served with mango and passion fruit rather than the usual strawberry. It was a genius re-imagination Bill's is a solid food destination

Bill's, how far you have come in the last year? From Brighton to Wimbledon, popping up everywhere. Came here with 2 couples who had a baby each. (Isn't that most of the demographic of Wimbledon?) We booked a table for Saturday brunch and they weren't mad we weren't bang on time which I like. We were seated in a lovely corner with a large table and some room for 2 prams as well. We were not rushed at all and they weren't even mad that half our party was running like 40 mins late (traffic and baby delay). I like that as many places give you the evils when you don't order straight away after you sit down (especially during their 'rush' time). As this was a catch-up brunch we hang around probably way longer the we usual would but at no point were we made to feel like we were being 'inconsiderate' of their table turnaround. Brunch food was excellent, I especially liked the scramble eggs. We all had too much tea and even desserts as they were so tempting. Eton mess, cinnamon doughnuts and scones (please note, they have raisins in them) - it was all really yummy. Bill's is a wonderful fit for Wimbledon only thing is it can get a little noisy with all the babies but you won't mind it also loads of prams so can get a bit 'tight' in some corners. I'm only ever down here to visit friends but next time I'm in the 'hood I'll definitely be coming back with such lovely food and (baby-) friendly service.

I absolutely love going to Bill's, it's the perfect spot anytime for a meal. They are open all day everyday from breakfast till late dinner. I also love going there for breakfast on Sunday's. They have a wide menu selection, catering to almost every taste. I love to order a Buck's Fizz to start, while waiting for my olives. I ordered the seabass fillet for mains, which came with a delicious avocado, caper and cherry tomato salsa and I ordered the roasted roots on the side. Hubby ordered the risotto which I've had before and was delicious again. Wait staff are always very friendly and help to add to the pleasant, causal ambient atmosphere of the place. Didn't have time for desert so got the rest of the food for take out and paid up. Would def recommend a visit to Bills on any occasion, am yet to have a bad time there.

The first time I came here we were quite rudely turned away as they were fully booked which unfortunately put me off. We returned as we had a voucher for a free 'special', and I'm glad we did! I've always loved the cosy, rustic feel that Bill's creates, and this one is no different. I had the fish pie and an Amaretto cocktail, both were great. Unfortunately the service could have been a bit better, especially as it was a Sunday evening and there were only about 4 other tables of people in there.

Fantastic service and good food. I really like that they have a few seasonal specials and seating outside for sunny summer days. I tried their steak sandwich which had a good amount of bread to meat ratio and lovely fresh vegetables. A nice mild mustard spread on the bread and the tender steak really made this dish pop.

While on holiday in London, I decided to drop by Bill's on my final morning in town. It was an excellent decision and quite frankly, I'm proud of myself for making it. The staff was friendly and accommodating, even though it was a tad too early in the morning. They even let me order the vegetarian breakfast with a side of sausages -- and never once batted an eyelash at the absurdity of such a request. I also have to point out the delicious mocha that accompanied my meal. It was perfectly proportioned and delicious from the first to final sip. All in all, it was a great experience and a rather fitting way to say goodbye to such a wonderful city. If I ever find myself back in town, I'll definitely pop by for another visit. I'm dying to try one (or more) of their puddings.

A bit pricey but good food and even the house red wine is top notch . nice decor too .

Bill's Restaurant was first opened in Lewes, East Sussex in 2001 serving both fresh and delicious meals as well as locally produced fruit and veg. Soon after their first restaurants boom of a success they set up in Brighton and moved on and up from there satisfying foodies from all over by serving seasonal and deliciously fresh foods from breakfast through to lunch and dinner. Lets not leave out dessert, there's always room! A charming waiter, who sadly I didn't catch the name of but knew he was Australian, took our drinks order. I went for Bill's raspberry, peach and mango juice which was super fresh, with slight pulpy bits in like it was just squeezed! Delicious! My friend had a cloudy apple juice, which was lovely and refreshing and a good both a good change from typical soft drinks we usually consume. We were then left to look at the wonderful menu of starters, mains, light meals and sides! Everything sounded so inviting I wasn't sure which to try that day! I decided after much browsing of the menu to opt for Bill's hamburger with Monterey jack cheese in a sesame seed bun and a side of sweet potato fries. Served on a rustic wood board, the burger was cooked and seasoned to perfection. Covered in a blanket of Monterey jack cheese and topped with plenty of salad and a slather of horseradish mayonnaise spread across the bun. And the sweet potato fries, presented in a lovely ceramic cup looked much more than just fries, they were heaven sent. A crisp outer and the inside light, fluffy and creamy. I could have eaten two pots full but I was stuffed by the end of the meal. My friend opted for one of the flavoursome specials available that was pan-fried whole Cornish plaice with lemon, caper and parsley butter and a side of sweet potato fries. Presented on a large plate with lemon wedge, capers and watercress salad. The plaice was left on the bone and cooked in a light batter. I did feel that it was a little too salty for my liking, this may have come from the capers but overall the fish was delicious and I would definitely have fish from Bills again!

Love this place. A good location and very good service. We went there last week for afternoon tea, very nice place and there were lots of babies just like a babies party !

Gotta admit this was a cheeky stop off from the bus stop to work! Arriving to wimbledon 45 minutes before having to get to work I fancied a quick breakfast! And ever day I walked pass Bill's eyeing up the empty building in the morning I just thought hey I'll have my day! So as I walked in I was greeted by the manager, she was very pleasant and apologised they were having a staff meeting which would end in the next five minutes and someone should be able to serve me! So I had a pick of anywhere to sit - even outside and I decided to go for a booth as you could never go wrong with one and it gave me plenty of table space for my newspaper and food that's waiting to be ordered! At that time in the morning, scrambled eggs and toast and a cup of tea was screaming at me, thoughts of coming back during lunch in the future would be a good time to try out the rest of the menu, though it was very tempting to replace my cup of tea with Buck's Fizz. Within 5 minutes of the waiter taking my order, my meal came to my table piping hot, looking pretty and a good size portions.

1 hour later and I'm still waiting for my meal. Very hungry and family is irritable Manageress very understanding. In fact, she offered to give our entire meal for free. So we were very happy in the end knowing that our custom was valued.

Thank goodness. We have found a brunch place to replace the disgraced Eco (see review). Positives: - the bubble and squeak is FANTASTIC - the coffee is good - the decor is great - the smoothies are nice - the staff are friendly - the full breakfast is HUGE and comes with mushrooms and cures a hangover - FACT. Negatives: - the toast is stupid. The slices are too big so they're a bit odd and dry, and they serve it with one tiny almost-frozen pat of butter which doesn't melt and tears the toast. Bad toast is a pet hate, this is worse because it's trying too hard to be good. - the selection of jams is marmalade, strawberry and fig. I like raspberry. Sorry Bill's. - my friend had an americano which was lethally strong - the full breakfast does not automatically come with beans. c'mon Bill's, even Heston eventually conceded a breakfast needs to come with beans or it's just plain wrong. Also paying a pound for beans when a tin costs 22p is nuts. In short - go here for brunch and cure your hangover. It's also handily next to the cinema, so you can clear your headache and then go and watch Star Trek, picking up some popcorn at Morrisons on the way. This is what's known as 'a good Saturday'.

2nd time around at this Bill's location for a nice lunch before the cinema. Last time I was disappointed by my mains so I was pleasantly surprised by today. I had the hamburger followed by the crumble for pie. I have to say the burger was huge and ever so yummy. I found not fault it. Will be back again.

I really enjoyed the halloumi burger, cocktail, and ambience of Bill's. It is slightly more expensive than other places nearby, but worth the additional quid given the amazing fare.

I had an amazing breakfast with my girlfriend this morning and the service and food were amazing . very happy to choose this restaurant today and and at the end we received a gift from the store manager which made our experience super top. 5

Visited Bill's in Wimbledon with two friends today and had a great experience - I was running very late so the food arrived to our table before I did, but the waiting staff were very accommodating and took my food back to keep warm until I arrived. The food could have been better - I ordered the Halloumi and Hummus Burger (an old favourite), but the burger bun was a little soggy, the chips were a little dry and the breakfast tea was very weak, so three stars today.

Visited this fab place with friends on a busy Saturday night. The Music and lighting were spot on, with funky decor and a great vibe. The Staff were first class and a credit to this chain. The meze starter - hummus, marinated olives, crispi halloumi, pitta bread etc a good size starter and tasty. Main course plaice with caper butter delicious. The hedgerow fizz cocktail, ding dong wonderful! Some of my friends were travelling down from Lancashire so running late, the staff were fine with this and just brought more drinks and olives whilst we waited, we were not rushed at all. I cannot fault the food or ambience of this restaurant, a chain yes but this place has style and an edge. Xoxo

Stopped by for a quick bite of lunch. Got seated served and was out under an hour. I had the chicken special (chicken in a bun) with crispy potato fries. The chipolte Mayo was lovely.... The board advertising 2 course dinners for around a tenner was outside but disappointingly the deal only runs weekdays and I was there on a Saturday. Still if I'm ever in the area I would venture back again....

I love this restaurant good food and friendly staff. I went for the lamb today and was amazed. It's not just burgers and chips here, although that is also amazing.

Can't go wrong with Bills I visit a number of these branches. Great for breakfast or even and evening dinner. I have been with the kids and with some girlfriends. We all love it, and this one in particular has extremely friendly staff and great table service.

Went to the SOHO restaurant. Loved the atmosphere. Servers were so friendly and just seemed genuinely happy to be working there, which actually makes a big difference. They were playing some good tunes and our waitress was busting out some righteous dance moves. The food was delicious too. I got the crab cakes as a starter which were very flavorful. For my main I ordered the salmon, which was also really good. The only thing that I wasn't a fan of was the portions were kinda small. But overall, really liked the place.
