Nice environment. We sat outside, our waitress was very attentive. She made it her goal to not only assist my husband and I but our 4 yr old granddaughter. Just a neat place, about 5-6 big TV’s, cute bar setting and nice selection. Greeted with hellos and have a nice days. Bathroom clean. Will certainly come back! Cool spot!

The best thing about this place is the price compared to the portions. We ordered the spicy pickle fries, the cowboy burger, and the Philly. The wait on the food was a little on the longer side, but not too bad. The fried pickles weren't spicy at all, my wife thought they were very salty and we both agreed that they were greasy. The cowboy burger was okay, but it was also very greasy. The Philly was decent but was on the salty side as well. The portions were very generous and we paid 45$ for the meal. Overall this place was decent but nothing to write home about.

This is a great spot to grab a burger and drinks! The adult milkshakes are really good. Prompt and friendly service by the entire staff.

Burgers used to be very good here my last post was a year ago, but this visit was an online order the burgers this time were not good it seemed very pre-made as opposed to my other visits. They looked good but they had a funny taste to them. Also my daughter loves the funnel fries here I got an order of them for $7 and change she was disappointed in the amount we got. Overall I was really excited about this I love a good burger but I'm not sure this will be one of my spots anymore. I hope they can improve it's a very nice vibe.

Wow. What can I say? A place with a name like "Billy Bob's Burgers" may not grab the attention of someone unfamiliar with the place, but I promise you will really enjoy your burger! I'm not sure what they do to make them so much better, but they do it well!! With a pretty wide variety of options on burgers, I highly recommend "The Hot Mess" with a side of their crazy good fries. I'm told their tots are also delicious, but I can't get past those fries. Yum! It is a loud atmosphere with loud music and not a lot of fabric in the room to absorb the sound, so this is not a place to have those heartfelt, meaningful conversations. It is a place to hang out, have a beer, if you're into beer, eat great burgers, and maybe be a little bit loud when you laugh with friends. If you feel like a great burger, do yourself a favor and try this place!

Great burger. Good beef, a patty that fits the bun. Personally I enjoy a good bun, not brioche, just something that doesn’t get soggy, over overwhelm the star of the show. I’ve had the cheeses burger, and then went back and had the mushroom Swiss burger. Didn’t try one, but they have some yummy looking adult shakes, that seem like a must try. Looked like most people were enjoying g the side they ordered, but I was grabbing a bite for lunch.

Let's talk about Billy Bob's Burgers Bar & Grill. It's my first time visiting Billy Bob's Burgers. A place that brings you a modern man cave vibe. It's a super cozy and excellent place to have a good time! The customer service was excellent, attentive to my comfort at all times. But let's talk about the food. When I visit a place, I order based on what they specialize in because that's what they say they are the best at. I ordered the Mozarella Sticks, the Texan hamburger with onions rings, Chicken Philly Sandwich, and Billy Philly Fries. I realized that all the flavors in each dish were balanced with great quality ingredients. It is definitely a place that I would recommend. I'm looking forward to trying their Adults Milkshake because we, the adults, also deserve a good milkshake. I'll be visiting them again. This was our first visit to Billy Bobs on Hewitt Drive. Service was slower than we’d prefer but it was a crowded Saturday night. The spicy cheese curds were a terrific choice to get things going. They were served pretty quickly. Get them! Burgers were awesome just like the Waco location. I got the Texan, a delicious, double cheese burger with bacon, mayo, and A-1 sauce. Kinda sloppy but quite a treat, if you’re into that sort of thing. Our waitress was really attentive once it slowed down. This new location is a winner, folks. It won’t disappoint!

Very good atmosphere here. Didn't use the patio. It was pretty cold so we stayed in the main room. None in our party drink so we didn't try any drinks but the bar was pretty large. I had a burger I believe was called "the hot mess". It had guac sautéed poblano peppers and a sautéed slice of tomato. My plate w drink and onion rings was pretty good it was about 16 dollars. Pretty high for me but you could tell the patty was homemade not a frozen patty. The onion rings I believe were home made. All in all a good meal w family. Was a lot to look at as there was many signs on the walls etc and multiple televisions. Would like to return often it is a quality meal for a bit higher price point.

Came after the lunch crowd for a burger - around 1:30pm. More staff than customers, maybe 3-4 people in to eat. No hostess up front, most of the staff at the bar in a clump looking at their phones. When they noticed us, the hostess went to seat us elbow to elbow with the only other occupied table. Well, started to, she had to clean it off before we could sit down. Handed us menus, left, no comment of "your server will be with you". After waiting a few minutes with no attention, no wait staff heading our way to at least take drink orders, we decided service or quality probably wasn't going to improve. The only movement we saw was when somebody broke a glass behind the bar, that got some attention from the clump. When we got up to leave, I don't think anybody even noticed. With the cost of dining out these days, if we walk into a business that could care less, we're not inclined to spend our money for poor service. Not recommended, lots of other places appreciate our business.

Great Burgers, Great Service. Kinda loud atmosphere, but family friendly. Overall a great place to grab lunch.

My son loves a big juicy burger and he especially loves a burger joint with plenty of options which is what you get at Billy Bob's. They have a ton of burgers and he has had most of them. His current favorites are The Texan which comes with bacon and cheese and the The Southwest which is topped with fried jalapenos. On our visit he went with the The Texan which looked really good but I would have to order it with no mayo. My daughter had the Burger basket which gives you the choice between fries, tots, or fried okra. She selected the fried okra and she enjoyed everything in her basket. I ordered the the half order of frito pie which was a pretty big for a half order but I was not impressed. For one thing, the chili had beans in it. Texas chili is a thing! NO BEANS. Anyways mine was a minimal effort dish. Fritos, the wrong kind of chili, and melted cheese. Maybe I was supposed to request onions or sour cream or jalapenos since they didn't automatically come with it. Next visit I'm bringing my appetite and trying one of the burgers and the Amaretto milkshake from the Adult Milkshakes portion of the menu.

This is a fairly new restaurant in Hewitt at was quite busy for lunch and they are looking for help. Our server was young, likely in high school, and was doing what she was told, so when she asked what we wanted to drink and we told her and we were ready to order she would not take it until she delivered the water drinks. From our time of order to delivery of the food was over an hour. This was now past the lunch hour rush. She never came to our table to ask if our food was okay. The manager brought us the bill, then waited and waited. The manager came and got the credit card. He knows what to do but the wait staff doesn't. Not sure I will be back.

I was excited to go and try out Billy Bob's Burgers. Always fun to try a new place! I could not believe how loud it was inside this place! OMG My party and I could not hear one another at all! It was so loud! Now, the burgers were delicious and the tater tots were cooked to perfection. Delicious beef‼‼ Excellent service but we did have a pretty good wait on our food but in the end it was worth it. Excellent burgers! I'm not sure I would go back to eat inside but I would definitely pick up an order to go! Sports bar & gathering place but not for me!

The staff is rude. From Management all the way down. I've been to this location twice. Thought the first time was maybe a fluke so we gave them another try. We love the staff at the downtown location and this location is closer to our house so we really really wanted to like it. From the moment you walk in they seem annoyed of your presence. There's zero customer service they all act like they don't want to be there and they have their select regulars and those are the only people they want to talk to. The food taste like it was all frozen before they reheated it. Went back to the downtown location and told them about our experience with this location and we were told unfortunately they hear that all the time.

The burgers are one of the best in the Waco area. The service is also really good. When you go ask for Deja as she's great and very attentive to you even when they are busy. She's our favorite.

The whole sense and ambiance of this place is good. The music is a little too loud for my taste. Service is pretty good for a burger joint. Their burgers are delicious

My hubby and I decided to stop at the Hewitt location for lunch. It was pretty busy from the looks of the parking lot. We dined on the patio. Our waitress was very helpful in describing some of the items on the menu. I chose the Billy Philly and my hubby got the Hot Mess Burger and we shared an order of fries. We received our food promptly. First let me tell you that the fries were plentiful like none I had had before ! They were delicious and addictive. My Billy Philly was filled with flavor and required no additional salt or pepper. My hubby devoured his entire burger while commenting how great it was with each bite. We will definitely be back for more !

I enjoy the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich & Poppin' Jalapeño Burger. Glad they have a location here in Hewitt. Opened about mid February 2023.

Burger was peppery, burned, and patty fell apart. The vegetables on the burger were soggy. No option for cheese except American. Food came out fast though.

Stopped here on our way to drop off our daughter at UT. Burgers were hot and delicious. Service was great. Place is super clean. Definitely recommend.

Their burgers are a bit high but so is the quality. Excellent food and service. Have some really intriguing drinks that I can't wait to try. The burger I had was loaded with all the goodness I like, cheese - poblano peppers - avacado - and all the other fixings that make for a good burger. The onion rings were disappointing so will never order those again; but, my husband's fries were good.

Just not good. Burger was beyond well-done. Tomatoes and lettuce tasted old. And not sure who is in charge of selecting tv channels, but at one point the Tru TV show had a drunk guy puking all over a girl he was having sex with while his friends stood around and watched... Our server was very nice, though.

One thing is for certain, Bob's doesn't skip on portions! I had the Philly Bob, and it was so awesome. My husband and mom both had the BLT was perfect too. Definitely going ago there again.

Eaten here a few times. Very good place for a great burger or one of their terrific sandwiches. I just had their Billy Philly and it was delicious. Didn't even take any home, a rarity for me. My wife and I split a basket of sweet potato fries. Service was very good, albeit a tiny bit slow as they were very (typically) busy. That just meant I could have two beers instead of one. We sat out on the patio even though it was 114 degrees. However, they have a great set-up with misters and a really stout oscillating fan that made the whole experience somewhat tropical feeling. This was my Father's Day event. Enjoyed it immensely.

Go to place for some really great burgers. Many to choose from and they all taste delicious!

Food is bad. Service was good. It's a sports bar!! Good grief! The burger I had after they took the horrible pizza back was a mushroom burger. It was overpriced, overly greasy and didn't even have a tomato on it as advertised! This was my first try there so I might try again but probably not.

The service was great, staff was very kind and we had everything we needed all the time even though they were busy! The food was very good and there were actually quite a few options to choose from, you'd think it was just burgers but there's so much more! The atmosphere was great too!

I love coming here! When your craving a good juicy burger this is the place to come! I've tried lots of the items on the menu and my favorite is the patty melt! With fries and a chocolate shake! There shakes are amazing! Our service has always been great! And the atmosphere is perfect for an enjoyable time!

Great hamburger, terrible service. When you look at their website it states order online, phone or walk in. We'll the last two time I wanted takeout couldn't order on line, wouldn't take a phone order so I went on, they said it would be an hour even though their restaurant was less than half full. Again food is really good, wait time kills the point of going for takeout.

I had a chicken sandwich, onion rings and a adult orange dream shake. Everything was good, onion rings was fried a little to hard. I will defiantly try it again.

Ok, I see plenty of negative reviews on here about the wait times. I went twice this weekend and waited a max of 30 minutes for my order. This is a small restaurant with homemade burgers and I've waited much longer for fast food and other restaurants. We had great service and the food is fantastic. The wait time for a table is probably longer because it's a tiny joint but they have outdoor seating and a long bar It's definitely worth the wait because like I said, the food is fantastic. My first trip I had a burger and tots. The burger is big and juicy and the order of tots is enough for 2-3 The next trip I had the spicy chicken sandwich with cheese curds. Again both were delicious So, when you read reviews on wait time , think about how long you wait at other places, take in the size of this place and know that it is going to be worth the wait.

i came in here Sunday evening and sat at the bar. honestly the food was amazing and of course the alcohol drinks amazing as well. but it was kinda hot in there. one thing i do have to complain about was the way the manager spoke about the other employees about them being hot. she was talking to this lady at the bar. the lady talked badly about a server and the manager went on to talk disrespectfully about the server... everyone else was lovely and kind. but that's just something doesn't need to be brought up when customers and other employees are around.

Great food and the staff is very friendly. They have the best adult milkshake I've ever had and the food is so good. I love going here to watch the games as they will "spin the wheel" that they have for deals. They are also very close to a train track and when the train goes by they have two dollar fireball and pickle shots!

AC was out so we sat down and immediately had to leave because it was so awfully hot. It felt better outside. We went at 430pm and man it was HOT! Idk how this place could even be open without AC, isn't that a heath code violation? I can't imagine how the Kitchen staff felt cooking in there!
