"Billy Club opened in Allentown toward the end of 2015 in a formerly boarded-up apartment building turned contemporary hideaway. From the start, owners Dan Hagen and Jake Strawser focused on cocktails, in part inspired by the speakeasy that operated out of the building during Prohibition. Drinks here are creative and delicious, made with top-notch spirits and local ingredients. There’s also a strong focus on whiskey, as well as a full food menu with dishes like house-made pasta, whole trout, and aged duck breast with figs. While you should definitely try one of the whiskey cocktails, you should also visit during Sunday brunch for the Bloody Mary—it’s one of the best in Buffalo."

Cool, quaint spot to eat in Allentown! Walked in for Sunday brunch right as they opened without a wait and were seated right away. Ordered the French toast with the side of bacon, which was so yummy. My husband had the chorizo stew which was surprisingly summery and zesty. Will definitely come back!

Google
Such a great place for brunch had a great amount of food and options. I ordered the shakshouka it came with toasted bread from a local bakery Breadhive Bakery. Now I need to go there to get more of that tasty bread. Both parts were so yummy. Orange juice tasted fresh squeezed. Service was great and ambience of the Bully Club was great. Can't wait to go back. Reservations are recommended.

You just can't argue with this place. Explicitly put together to let you relax while being taken care of in a way that's hard to find. Phenomenal food, phenomenal drinks; you could grab an easy beer concurrent with your tartare. A wide range of quality bourbons, ryes, tequilas and more. I grabbed a cocktail with a description I already can't recall- curiosity got me, and it was a knockout. Paired very well with the octopus. Next trip shall be a longer stint to try the entire menu. I took one uneventful photo as I left because I had such a pleasant time actively enjoying the experience. Absolutely fantastic.

We celebrated my birthday here, and it was a truly special experience. Both the atmosphere and the service were outstanding. Our server, Eric P, was phenomenal – he was so welcoming and attentive throughout our meal, making us feel right at home. The food presentation was beautiful, making every dish look incredibly appetizing. We also loved the excellent drink menu, and Eric's knowledgeable recommendations were spot-on. Highly recommend for a special occasion!

Google
We celebrated our 10 year together anniversary here and the staff were phenomenal. If you enjoy duck, you must get here while it's on the menu. Very limited selection, but our apps and entrees were out of this world. The cocktail options were also top notch. Make sure to reserve as seating is limited, but definitely a Buffalo experience worth having!

Google
Service is spectacular. Food was delicious. Drinks were wonderful. Wine selection and wine knowledge was top notch. This was a hidden gem and I am so glad we found it. I highly recommend this place for dinner and drinks.

Google
Great farm to table / from scratch restaurant with consistent and alternating menu items. This place is excellent. It is not large so you will typically need a reservation. Great for brunch and dinner. Highly recommend.

Google
Such a good dinner! We were passing thru Buffalo and stumbled on this gem. Might be the best summer salad I’ve had. Great gazpacho, crab fritters and scallops followed by a cherry tart dessert. Good wine and interesting cocktails. Cool vibe, I almost felt hip myself…

Yelp
Absolute best meal I had in Buffalo! this is a must have if you are looking for an elevated delicious carefully curated experience. Super cute restaurant located in the Allentown neighborhood. They have bar seating (no tvs - not that kind of place) and table seating available. Very intimate and cozy. Our server Eric was fantastic and provided the best recommendations. We started off with the potatoes, the cabbage and the crudo. The cabbage with garlic and chili crisp is so unique and delicious. A must have! For meals we had the steak and the swordfish- just as Eric recommended the fish was excellent quality and the onion cilantro sauce was the perfect pairing. Ended the meal with a delicious espresso martinis and one of their gin cocktails. For dessert we did the panna cotta and the ginger cake. Did not care too much for the cake.

Yelp
One of my faves in Buffalo! Their cocktails are always really well made and their service is attentive without being overbearing. I recently tried their octopus - so good! Perfect cook - just crispy on the edges and a little bit spicy. I devoured this. Their burger is also good, but I liked their other mains more.

Yelp
Great NYC-like restaurant that knows what they are doing both food and drink-wise. We had the Rohan Duck Breast and the Scallops. Both amazing and perfectly prepared. For drinks we had a glass of the orange wine, a paired red for the duck, and two cocktails whose names escape me. Everything was great, and our server was like a walking encyclopedia of wine knowledge. A special place for an intimate dinner.

Yelp
Billy Club is our go to restaurant for special celebrations and date nights. The cozy atmosphere provides eclectic cocktails and apps, followed by a star studded line up of entrees. The hostess & waiters all love their job! The manner in which they describe each item and their attention to detail while you dine, always exceeds expectations. 5 stars! violet ciotti rashad

Yelp
Great little spot on Allen for a cocktail. The drinks are to die for. The inside is beautiful designed- a nice clean space. Bartenders are helpful and friendly and make great drinks. Looking forward to trying their food menu next!

Yelp
There's a clear winner for best burger in Buffalo, and it lives on Billy Club's menu. I've wanted to come here for so long and finally got the chance to stop in with my mom this weekend. The service was phenomenal -- from the host to the bartenders to our server, everyone treated us so kindly. The restaurant is on the smaller side, so I highly recommend making a reservation. I didn't order a drink this time, but their cocktail menu boasted some tasty-sounding options. They have a sizeable wine list and some canned offerings as well. My mom and I both ordered a burger as we've heard nothing but good things. I can confirm, all those good things are true. The burger comes with caramelized onions and the meltiest of cheese, all on top of a perfectly cooked patty. The fries on the side were delicious as well. I'd come here again a million times just for this burger. Billy Club offers brunch as well, which also looks to be really delicious. I don't think you could go wrong no matter what meal you come here for. What's most important is that you just get here and try it for yourself.

Yelp
Excellent all around. We are visiting from out of town and happened to be staying a 10min walk from here and thought to try it out. Such wonderful food - we loved the cheese board, acorn squash salad, the tagliatelle and the branzino fish. The cocktails were excellent as well. But above all - our service was spectacular. Our server, who I did not catch the name of but had very cool round glasses, recommended us great options all around. He was super professional and friendly. And best of all he gave us a written list of places to check out which so far have been 3/3 hits. These folks know great food.

Franceanne O.

Yelp
My sister and I went here tonight and what a pleasant surprise. Not a big place by any means but big enough. Appetizers and food were phenomenal (french fries were house made the same way our Belgian mother used to make them). We voted them best in WNY. The service was excellent! It's right across from our old stomping ground The Brick Bar! Will definitely be revisiting soon!!!

Yelp
Back for brunch to try some new items I hadn't had before. Always so good! Food options, service, vibes are all wonderful. My favorite spot in Buffalo and I'll keep coming back.

Yelp
Brunch at Billy Club. Put that on your places to go list. My boyfriend brought me here and we sat at the bar on a Sunday. I had a bloody Mary, which was great. The bartender, Adam, was extremely friendly and helpful. I went with the short rib hash minus the gravy. It was delicious and I very much enjoyed it. I highly recommend this dish. Phil ordered the biscuits and gravy and liked his selection. This is a bar where if you stick around too long at brunch, you might find yourself there until closing time. Beware! Everything is good. There are also hooks under the bar, which I always appreciate and is a nice touch.

Yelp
Beautiful ambiance, chef inspired menu and charming mixologists made this a highlight stop for our visit to Buffalo! Reservations are recommended but we were charmed sitting at the bar with Ian, our bartender, guiding our cocktail and menu choices.

Yelp
I came here recently on a Wednesday night with one little purpose: dessert! It was around 9:30pm and I was glad to see Billy Club was still open (kitchen closes until 10) and had 3 delicious desserts available. The place is beautiful: gorgeous interior, cool exposed light bulbs hanging on eight knots of rope (which was actually pretty cool because I was coming from rock climbing, so the light fixtures were a fitting continuation of the night). It gives the place a cool, sexy feel. The dessert was excellent and our server was hospitable. Despite not getting any drinks, there was no pressure to buy anything except a nice dessert. I'd love to come back and try the food next time!

Yelp
Instead is classic and swanky- excellent service!! More alcohol options then food for brunch. However, don't get me wrong the food is EXCELLENT! This is what we got: Bloody Mary - spicy John Stamos - not sweet (I should have stuck with the Mimosa) Pancakes with a side of bacon Steak and eggs Best pancakes ever with REAL maple syrup! BEST steak and eggs hands down! So why 4 stars? I did not care for the surrounding area. Broken glass, garbage on sidewalks etc. clearly the night time scene is very popular so you see the dirt the next morning. I would still go back!

Yelp
This past Friday was my first time at Billy Club. I was excited to try it along with a few friends. We started off with some drinks and a few appetizers to share including the octopus, salad and cheese board. I was pleasantly surprised with the taste of all the dishes, although the portions were tiny and not really enough to share. For the entree I went with the duck and my husband got the fettuccine. The duck was well flavored with a rice dish alongside it. The meat was a little tough and thick. It may have been easier to eat if the duck were thinly sliced. For dessert we all shared the panna cotta and flourless cheese cake. Our server generously gave us the pecan cake on the house! All of the desserts were as equally well done. I will add the service was top notch. I just wish the portions were a bit bigger for the price tag.

Yelp
Always delicious. No notes. Dessert is a hidden gem here!! Service is always excellent.

Yelp
We walked here our first night in our Allentown Airbnb for drinks and we stayed for dinner. We had no idea we had found the gem of the neighborhood on our first night. The decor is light and bright. We were lucky enough to get a seat at the bar. We had the best bar tender. When my hubby asked him about two drinks he actually described the drink in detail and it made sense. He went with the Berry Bostwick which was lillet, strawberry, lemon, and tonic. I picked the Don't Say That concocted of rye, cinnamon, lemon, egg green white, radler, and bitters. They were both delicious and perfectly balanced. Not only were the servers friendly but the patrons who all seemed to be regulars were also kind. We chose the octopus for one of our dishes as we haven't had it in a while and we not disappointed. It was cooked perfectly so it was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Then we also picked the gnocchi with mushrooms. It was phenomenal. The gnocchi melted in your mouth. Our second drinks were an old fashioned for my hubby and then I picked the Parts Unknown because it reminded me of our favorite, Anthony Bourdain, and it is based with Tommyrotter Bourbon. Then they added Wild Turkey 101, grapefruit vermouth, and aperitif butters. It was fantastic. We will for sure be back to this place when we return to Buffalo!

Yelp
Valentines brunch, with good service and attentive staff, despite the holiday. Everyone was super friendly and eager to serve. While the menu is limited, everything was extremely tasty. Enjoyed a Bloody Mary, cheese tray, and cheeseburger. While the items are fairly routine, all the food was fantastic! Cheese tray was locally sourced, the burger was the juiciest burger I have had in ages, and the staff was so helpful and attentive, without being in-your-face needy. Bloody Mary was decent, not noteworthy. Would recommend the restaurant add salt/pepper containers at the table. Pouring salt from a tiny bowl, or pinching it with my fingers were neither wonderful options. While portions seem small, we felt comfortable with the meal when we left. Would definitely come back. Highly recommend.

Yelp
I was looking for a cocktail bar in Buffalo, and am glad to say Yelp did not disappoint! I was able to try the Color Me Kubrick, Cruel Intentions, and Pork Belly. Color Me Kubrick - A combination of gin, lemon, chili oil, egg white, and basil. It sounds strange, sure, but don't let that stop you, as this is an interesting and tasty cocktail. the basil and spice (from chili oil) really add an interesting dimension to it. This cocktail is bursting with flavor, and is designed to be savored! Cruel Intentions is more for people who don't like cocktails that are as much in your face. It was comprised of pineapple infused tequila, lime, cherry, bitters, and soda. The flavors were a lot more mild, and the soda water gave it a little bite on the tongue while pineapple infused vodka carried just a bit of sweetness. This cocktail is more refreshing, than complex. Pork Belly was great! It was cooked perfectly, hot, very tender, and very flavorful! I enjoyed the sauces it came with, with one being milder, and the other much more acidic. I wouldn't eat spoons of them on their own, but they did go marvelously with the pork belly. Also, what a terrific idea to elevate it using tomato, so the sauces don't permeate it before you've had a chance to taste! Overall, I'd call the whole experience elevated. Drinks, service, food, all elevated from a run of the mill place. It will definitely be on my list to return to when I am back in Buffalo.

Yelp
I came to Billy club because I'm pretty sure they're one of the only place in buffalo that has oysters for brunch. (More places should.) The omelette was really good but the kale salad was way too lemony and the steak was over cooked. I would definitely like to come back to try their cocktails. Their service was really good too. I loved the atmosphere. I will be coming back!

Yelp
Clubs are an Organization that dedicates itself to a particular interest or Activity. Nightclubs are for nighttime entertainment also for Drinking, Music & Dancing. But when you come to Billy Club you'll be experiencing a Meal like any other. When I first heard of Billy Club I thought it meant those Wooden Clubs with handle bars that Police would use to beat and subdue Criminals back in the 50's. Turns out the Building that its in was formerly a Dinner Club called the Whitehorse Dining Club back in the Day. This was one of those Restaurants that was calling me to come and try. But the thing was we decided to come here in middle of the COVID Pandemic. Even my Dad & Brother were worried about me and especially Grandma catching it but we told them we'd be safe and Proceeded with Caution. Matter of fact we decided to eat outside right by the Window with less risk of catching it. It was a lovely evening, right Away one of the workers (Eric) came out and greeted us. Told us a couple Specials but we knew what we wanted to do, it was a Small Menu, only 14 Dishes (8 Appetizers and 6 Entrees). So we ordered half of the Menu and split it between the 3 of us. We first started off with a Roasted Beet Salad that were mixed with Coconut/Fennel Puree, also topped with Housemade Granola, Kohlrabi, Charred Grapefruit & Fresh Dill. One of the most cleanest tasting Salads that I've eaten, Earthy Beets, Mild Kohlrabi, Puree that was silky Smooth and Sweet, Granola gave it some Bite, Grapefruit provided Acid and the Dill had hints of Anise. For our Drinks Grandma got a Daiquiri with Bacardi Rum (that's been aged for 8 Years) along with Fresh Honey & Lime, Rick got the Cruel Intentions consisting of Pineapple infused Tequila, Lime, Cherry, Bitters & Soda. I got the Color Me Kubrick (inspired by the 2005 Movie and Director Stanley Kubrick) consisting of Gin, Lemon, Basil, Smoked Chili Oil & Egg White. While the drink had some good Strong Flavors I was expecting that Hit of Heat at the End and it faded out, but I loved the Froth of the Whites. We also Shared Warm Homemade Focaccia with Whipped Butter & Olive Oil mixed with Balsamic Vinegar. Mesclun Salad that was tossed in a Butttermilk Vinaigrette with Bacon Lardons, Smoked Mushrooms, Shallots & Hazelnuts. Usually I thought the Buttermilk was gonna be strong but it wasn't, nicely dressed too, Hazelnuts gave it some Crunch, Mushrooms & Shallots were Smoky. Rick and I also got the Halibut Ceviche (marinated in Citrus Juice) with Radish, Fennel, Jalapeno & Piquillo Pepper Puree. This was a nice way to cleanse my Palate, Fish was Clean, the Raw Vegetables gave it that Refreshing Bite, the Jalapeno was Strong and the Puree was hidden at the Bottom but it Mild flavor made itself Present. For our Entrees, Grandma got the Jumbo Lump Crab Cake (breaded in Panko) with with Mole Verde (sauce made from Tomatillos & Poblano Peppers) & Avocado Puree. Cut off a piece and you get that Sweet Flavor of Crustacean, the Verde Sauce you add packs a Firework Punch, the Slaw help take off some of the Heat and the Puree was light & Creamy. Rick got their Fish of the Day, Whole Trout over Rice with Ginger, Scallion, Garlic Scapes & Sesame Oil. The fish looked like it went from the Ocean, to a Frying Pan and onto my Uncle's Plate, he was kind enough to let me eat the Head (especially the Eyeballs). I got one of their Signatures, Duck Breast (that was aged for a Week) with Fried Cornmeal Cake, Roasted Mushrooms, Roasted Cranberries, Cranberry Gastrique & Fried Sage. Your thinking to yourself (why would I pay $34 for 2 Slices of Duck), I thought it was worth it with their Preparation & Technique, Duck was Juicy, Fat was Rendered, Skin was Crispy, lil Cakes were still Crispy & Light, the Cranberries popped like Sweet & Sour Candy. Personally I thought the portion was spot on as it was Rich, don't want too much of a good Thing. This was a pure taste of a Fall Dish in the Summertime that I cherished greatly. For Desserts I just wasn't feeling it, so I just ordered yet another Color Me Kubrick Cocktail. We thanked Eric for the Food & Hospitality and we were well on our Way, we enjoyed ourselves and went home unscathed. Going forward I know that its gonna be much harder to enjoys Dinner out because of the Pandemic but its nice every now and then to go do. So if your looking for somewhere to Join for a Night out, come join the Billy Club. !!!

Yelp
We went for dinner, and found this really cool little place tucked away on Allen street in Allentown, across from Mulligans Brick Bar. Very clean, cozy, and inviting open dinning room, and can order food to enjoy at the welcoming bar, too. Small entre selection, but executed beautifully. My husband ordered the duck, my son got the rib steak and I had the tortillini. Steak came sliced up, and was a larger portion meal. The duct was a moderate size meal, and the pasta was on the lighter side. All were very delicious. Appetisers were awsome, and much to chose from. Service was exceptional. We enjoyed our evening. Thank you Tyler, for taking care of us. Casual and comfortable dinning! We'll be back!

Yelp
My husband surprised me with brunch here today for Mother's Day. We love to try new places so this fit the bill. It's small but has a distinctive 'hipster' vibe. Service was excellent and we received both our drinks and meals quickly. I chose the omelette w/ boursin cheese. It was creamy and quite delicious. The bacon had body and was cooked to perfection. My spouse chose scrambled eggs with cheese and bacon, as well. He ordered the 'John Stamos' drink which had a distinctly smoky flavor. I enjoyed my mimosa since the Bloody Mary was not the spicy variety I prefer. Our waiter was prompt and friendly. I know we will be returning here!

Yelp
Upscale vibes. Good cocktails. Friendly and attentive service Definitely a change from the rest of the places around. Food for the most part was well prepared although my eggplant appetizer was hard and uneatable. For the price I wanted my food better.

Yelp
The taste of the burger is so amazing and also the cocktail. Food options, service and vibes are all great. Till now one of the best spots to hang out

Yelp
This was the first place we visited once arriving in Buffalo! It was on my list of places to check out, but I wasn't sure if we'd make it there for happy hour or dinner. We lucked out and passed the restaurant without even realizing it at 5:00 right when they opened! My boyfriend and I got a seat at the bar and were the first ones there. Shortly after the bar and restaurant started filling up with reservations. The bartender Dan was great! He was super knowledgeable about places to go in Buffalo and gave great suggestion. Their cocktail menu was really fun to read through! There were a lot of drinks and ingredients that I had never heard of before. I ordered the Charming Foxhole which had aperol and tequila in it (so good), and my boyfriend had the Berry Bostwick (Lillet, strawberry). Both drinks were delicious and strong! We liked sitting at the bar and watching the drinks be made. The people at the bar next to us were regulars and ordered the oysters. Dan said they were from prince Edward Island and were medium sized. I impulsively ordered them even though we were going to dinner after. They were some of the best oysters I've ever had! You could tell they were super fresh, and the raspberry rose mignonette was perfect on them. This was a great little cocktail hour and I would love to eat dinner there next time!

Yelp
Billy Club is a very nice restaurant I will definitely visit again. They have a small menu that changes including several small plates and 4-5 entrees. We started with a cheese plate with three types of cheese, bread give toast, jam and honey. Everything was quite delicious. We also ordered a small dish of lovely olives and a dozen oysters. The oysters were perfect. We all tried different drinks and they were all unique and tasty. And very impressively decorated. Entrees were a lobster fettuccine with flavorful red sauce, crispy halibut over farro, and seared duck breast with pancetta, asparagus, and beans. Everyone cleaned their plates. Last we ordered one each of three desserts that were offered. A flourless chocolate cake that was like a perfect fudge, a pecan cake, and a citrus panna cotta. Amazing every one. Please try this restaurant out, all fabulous food, great presentation, well designed drinks, and friendly helpful staff.

Yelp
Tried a new restaurant. We had an excellent dinner at Billy Cub. Promptly seated on arrival, water was poured. Our friendly waiter came right over to take our drink order. We started with half dozen oysters that were delicious and fresh. Next we shared a wonderful winter salad and Burrata Tartine. For our main course we both had the Wahoo fish. Everything was freshly prepared. We will definitely return.

Yelp
Cocktails are amazing, haven't eaten here. Second time here but the service is atrocious. Seems like I'm doing them a favor by being here. Come get a drink, don't tip and leave. We asked for a glass of water with our five drinks and in fairly positive I hear the bartender say what the fuck

Yelp
Went to brunch with my cousin! Great little place with great food and craft cocktails! Will be back with my husband since he loves a great burger and Billy Club definitely has a great burger! The food, the drinks and the server were amazing!

Yelp
A cute and modern little place that I've heard of, but didn't know it was right in the heart of Allentown! Visited here with a few of my friends for a birthday dinner a couple weeks ago. Inside is a fairly large bar with several tables alongside and in the rear of the building. There are a few tables outside along the sidewalk. We opted to sit inside, only because there was a ready table at the time and we didn't make reservations. They have a sort of limited menu with just a few options for each category (small plates, and large plates). Not a lot of vegan/vegetarian options, but they are very much willing to work with you if you require those dietary options. For example, we notified our waiter that our friend is vegetarian, and he offered to have the kitchen make a special plate for him. This was a sort of impromptu dinner, so I wasn't starving. I ordered the crab cake. It was one of the best I've ever had! The flavors were definitely there, even though there was only one cake. Very dope and will order again. Certainly a place I'd frequent if I lived in the area. Will be back again!!

C G.

Yelp
I can't say enough good things about the service here. Eric was wonderful. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and fun. The winter squab appetizer may have been my favorite thing. For drinks, the Edna Million was fabulous! The music was perfect to create a trendy but comfortable atmosphere. Highly recommend!

Yelp
We felt like we walked into someone's family home, as staff were super friendly and seemed to know well the majority of customers who came in, so clearly many happy repeat diners. Even though it was full for Saturday evening, we were able to get 2 spots at the bar at the last minute. Both bartenders were super friendly and efficient, especially Adria (?). Made us feel like regulars, too, as did the people we sat next to. Loved the cocktail Handstand! We came for the burgers and were well rewarded as they are delicious. Definitely in the Best Burgers category for anywhere. And the creme caramel custard for dessert made me want to lick the bowl (I didn't, but it was tough)! We are only in Buffalo for a week but plan to go back to Billy Club, too good not to enjoy again.
google avatar

Yelp
During the COVID-19 pandemic, they have been releasing a menu at the beginning of the week for a certain day and accepting take-out orders via email (just email what you want and time you want to pickup). On the day of pickup they called to confirm my order ~1 hr before scheduled pickup) and took the payment over the phone. When we arrived at Billy Club, we called and they brought the order out to the car. The whole process was smooth and curteous. Wowie, that burger! The caramelized onions had a great tender sweetness, the blue cheese dressing had a perfect tang to it, and the bun was pillowy soft. I could not have asked for it to be cooked to a more perfect medium. The fries were fresh cut, skinny style and so crisp and salty. Definitely some of the best fries I have ever had even if they weren't right out of the fryer when we ate them. Hats off to the chef and staff! Job well done!

Yelp
Amazing service at Sunday brunch. Love their fresh locally baked bread and jam spread. Our waiter was friendly and our meals came out within 10 min of placing the order. Great brunch spot - now I'll be back for drinks at the bar soon!

Yelp
This place is amazing. I walk in, get greeted by nice people, served by nice people, and even fed by nice people. They make me horny

Yelp
Billy Club is located in the heart of Allentown. Finding close parking wasn't easy but was attainable. We were immediately greeted and seated upon arrival. It's quite small inside but they are seating patrons at every other table to maintain social distancing. We were provided a wonderful table against the wall in the corner with my wife being afforded a view through a small window of a fountain outside. Our first thoughts were maybe them having patio seating there but one of the servers when asked indicated that area wasn't theirs. Our server provided us with menus and described their specials and went over the main menu. In the current environment I would have liked to see disposable or on line menus. Theirs did not appear to be disposable. Our server gave us a few minutes to look at the drink options and then took our bar order. We started the evening with a 1/2 dozen oysters. There were two varieties available, both from P.E.I. Canada, so we ordered three of each. Both were very good and fresh tasting. We then shared their Winter Salad. Our server without being asked had it divided into two portions. I really appreciated his thoughtfulness here. The salad was quite delicious. The greens and mushrooms are locally sourced. The dressing while covering everything did not overpower the salad. We both fully enjoyed it. We were definitely not being rushed and allowed the time to enjoy both our meals and conversation. Since we hadn't placed our meal orders yet we decided to add another appetizer when ordering our main courses. We added the Burrata Tartine. This was quite good and served on sourdough bread from WNY's Breadhive Bakery. For our main course we both went with the fish special, Wahoo. I appreciated that when describing the menu, our server made sure we knew what this fish was like as I had never heard of it before. It is a white fish, that is firm in texture and moderately sweet. It was perfectly cooked with a nice lightly browned and crispy texture on one side from the grill. It was accompanied by a parsnip purée. This is the second time in the past few months having been served parsnip purée and I've come to the conclusion the parsnip is grossly underused. This was quite delicious. I would like to find it on other menus and will be looking for it. I liked that it was served with barley instead of another commonly used item such as rice or couscous. Our meals and service were wonderful. The pace at which it was served was perfect. I liked that we were allowed to enjoy each appetizer at our own pace before the next arrived. I liked that the menu wasn't full of common place choices that are found at countless other restaurants. My wife who's constantly drinking her water commented that her glass never went empty. I liked how our server and another seemed to work as a team. Always addressing our needs but never intrusive. Billy Club was a fun dining experience with delicious and interesting choices. I would definitely recommend dining here.

Yelp
Billy Club is an odd little place. Everytime I go I leave wondering why it exists. Like, why open a bar if you're going to mope around and act like your customers were somehow putting you out. It's like the geeks from high school grew up and decided to take their revenge by offering highly indifferent customer service and their friends come by to watch. The whole place feels like some kinda bizarre inside joke. The bar itself is small but cute and reasonably well stocked. The food ranges from very good to not very good at all. The cheese plate is like something you'd get at Tops for a low budget office party - it's edible but lacks imagination. You've had every cheese many times before. All in all, kinda meh, mostly lame.

Yelp
This is a really nice chill spot. Came here on a Saturday evening and for the location to be on Allen St it seemed to be more of a mature clientele. We ordered a few cocktails and small plates to share. Everything I tried was really good. (Pictures below) Will definitely be back in the near future

Yelp
This is is by far one of the best restaurants in the western New York area. Everywhere from the bartenders to the weight staff to the chefs, provide one of the best experiences that you will have in this area that is as close to New York City or Los Angeles as you're going to get. The food was absolutely exceptional, the staff were tremendous, and the bartending was out of this world. The restaurant has a great fresh, modern vibe and feel that would remind you of a bustling neighborhood in any major city such as Greenwich Village or North Boston. This is a destination restaurant.

Yelp
First time here & we loved it. Cheese plate was fantastic & the honey was delicious. I had the corn & peach appetizer as my dinner. Really unique. My husband had the seafood fettuccine. Delicious! Service was impeccable. We will be back! Parking is a little challenging but we lucked out & found a spot on Allen.

Yelp
This is arguably one of my favorite bar/restaurants in Buffalo. It's a hidden gem down Allen street. The cocktails are always exceptional along with the food. I recently ordered the pork belly taco which was to die for, it melted in my mouth like butter. The staff is attentive and friendly. It has a cozy, candle lit vibe, great place for a date or just to go with friends. It is small so make sure to always make a reservation on the weekends!

Yelp
Amazing service, bar none. Happened upon them because service at Patina 250 left a lot to be deserved. Food was hot, fast and so delicious. Burger and steak and eggs were top notch. John Stamos for drink was top tier. Our waiter was extremely attentive, warm and easy going. 100% would recommend!

Yelp
Stopped in randomly one day with a friend for a drink and a bite to eat. The drinks were good and reasonably priced and the food was amazing. We got a few apps to split but they were all amazing. The fried polenta and the fresh bread and butter were amazing and the cheese platter was one of the best I have had in a while. I would def advise stopping in even if it is just for a drink if you are in the neighborhood.

Yelp
This place might honestly be my new favorite restaurant in Buffalo. I came here on a Thursday at 5:15 before a Sabres game and my friend and I pretty much had the place to ourselves. Our server was extremely attentive to every detail of our meal. We ordered the asparagus and the dumplings for an appetizer(both delicious) and ordered the hanger steak for our dinner which was phenomenal. The cocktails were super yummy and not badly priced. Overall, our experience was beyond my expectations.

Yelp
Finally got to take a trip to Billy Club after it had been on my list for over a year (I know I've been slacking!) Visitors from San Diego were in town so this was a perfect reason to check out their brunch. They have both savory and sweet options and I feel an overall healthy menu. This was great because I had made some unhealthy choices over the weekend so this brunch made me feel not as bad. I decided to start off with a John Stamos-mostly because of the name of the drink. Yes I am that person you market to and will order a drink because of 90s nostalgia. Luckily it tasted great and I enjoyed it! I then ordered a French 75 because it's a signature cocktail I always gravitate towards. It came in a cute glass and didn't disappoint. I'd recommend either but you should probably get both because it's brunch and it requires several drinks. I decided to order the avocado toast which came with two over easy eggs, tomatoes and their potatoes. OMG it was amazing. I would recommend this to anyone who was unsure of what to get. The avocados were sweet and almost tasted more like guac instead of just avocados. Yum! We had reservations for 11am but if you go at opening (11am) you probably won't need them. We were the first party there. If you would like to go later I would recommend a reservation as the restaurant is small and quickly filled up within the first hour. The service was good-everyone was very friendly and everything was served on time and we didn't have to wait long. Great brunch place to try in Buffalo!

Yelp
The service was great he answered all our many questions we had on the menu and gave us lots of time to look it over and decide what we wanted. We started with the charcuterie board, the octopus and the dumplings. They were all enjoyed by us. They dumplings had very nice flavor and lots to choose from on the meat and cheese platter. Most of us got the hanger steak and one got the aged duck breast. They were all very good. The fries that came with the hanger steak were cooked perfectly and went well with it. We were too full for dessert but they sounded great when he told them to us. I will recommended this place to others for a date night spot. Great service and a delicious meal.

Yelp
Billy club is a small cozy space in the heart of Allentown. It has exceptional cocktails and good service. Well drinks are 5$ cool but I recommend the "No requests". Do not sit down at the tables with bar drinks or else they will ask you to move, ok fine.

Yelp
If you're looking for a DELICIOUS brunch this is your place. If you're looking for a brunch to gorge yourself on, this may not be your place. I started with a Bloody Mary, and it was amazing. It's very smooth with a low heat that hits after you sip. I got a special cured salmon salad to eat. It included a poached egg, avocado, and delicatata squash: the flavor combination was amazing. It was a very healthy option, not super filling though. I also tried a bit of the enchiladas which were stuffed to the brim and also delicious. If you you're looking for a very filling dish the brisket hash was very generous.

Yelp
Adrienne is one of the best bartenders in town she makes a great drink and is so nice and easy to talk to. The boys there are all so adorable (looking at you Adam ) I'm a bartender and it's my post work drink place; yesterday I got a chance to get out early and was there early enough to have their food for once. Their octopus was seared perfectly and the pork belly tortellini is something I would kill for and I'm not even an aggressive person. If you're thinking of going to Billy Club stop thinking and just go!
