Billy Jaya Hotel

Billy Jaya has two types of rooms. In old building the rooms are cheaper but so grim and depressing that I cannot imagine staying there unless really desperate. Dark, smelly and without windows. The newer building has much nicer rooms with good views across the town and comfortable beds. ||||The breakfast was good and generous. Buffet included unexciting 'western' food (bread, margarine, jam) but also very tasty Indonesian food (rice, vegetables, tofu, fish or chicken) and of course tea and coffee.||||The staff was friendly but not very helpful. We were lucky that there was a room in the new building available. Since we knew that we were going to spend at least five nights we managed to get 10% discount (the rooms are pricey). After five nights we went for an overnight trek to the jungle and then returned to the hotel for another two nights. As we found at the checkout, the discount ceased to apply for the last two nights of our stay. Typically, there was no reasoning with the staff.||||Overall, we made a good choice though. Before choosing Billy Jaya we looked at some six hotels in the area and their best rooms were still worse that Billy Jaya's basic rooms.

I was here in a room located in old Billy building. For me,walking through the aisles could be better if the smoking odors can be vanished. And,the toilet needed to be cleaner. However,the food services in the restaurant were great.

Unique: Old bikes are parked in front of the lobby and the front parking area. It is a branding strategy to attract costumers. But have to say that rooms are not well maintained. Bed should be replaced with a new and improved quality. Bathroom needs major renovation, old style. I smell cigarete just when entering the room, maybe from the previous guest. This means the cleaning and maintenance area are the most urgent thing to be improved.

The hotel has two wings, the older one is a budget wing but Oh! lord it is filthy!||||I was given a room where the air-con didn't function, the walls were leaky and let's just say it was the worst ever. After some time I moved to a slightly more expensive twin sharing room and I can't really say it was any improvement over the previous one, except the air con was functioning.||||||||In the same area there are better hotels, please walk around before you settle for this one.

Clean, Nice Stuff and........ avarage breakfast. This Hotel provide coffee break 16:00 till 18:00 and free shuttle to Port of Manokwari 🚢 and Rendani Airport ✈️. In same building have Café and Spa service and also ATM 🏧 Bank Papua

A small hotel near the government sites, first time to manokwari and i get small room with terrible hallway. I think i get the room from the old place of the hotel, because some of my friends get room on the building and it was quite nice. You can't expect much cause it's more likely a motel.

For city Like manokwari, this hotel still one of the good hotel. It's located on Japan Merdeka near Orchid Store.

Ok standard of hotel. It has good seafood
