Bimbi park is a magical wilderness experience. Campsites are large, quiet and nestled in the gum trees. The facilities are clean and well maintained. The special touch is the koalas, we saw over 12 in our 2 day stay. It’s extra special seeing them in the wild and so close. Huge bonus that a place like this is dog friendly. We love Bimbi park ❤️

Great camp site! We stayed in the Bush camp and it was a really lovely spot. The facilities are clean and well maintained. There are plenty of activities around as well to keep you entertained! We saw 5 koalas in the trees and were joined by a Kookaburra when we packed up. Will sure to be back again!

The camper van was perfect for our three night stay, very spacious for two people with excellent appliances. The surrounding bush was great, lots of encounters with wildlife (they deliver on the koala promise!) and a nice walk to Station Beach. The staff were lovely, and the facilities well looked after.

We had a great stay and got ourselves a true Australian experience seeing both koalas, kangaroos, possums and many birds. There are clean, well-maintained toilets and showers, BBQ, benches and fire places. Within a few hundred meters, you’ll find view and walks around the crater, and it’s easy to visit the lava cave (bring own flashlight). We loved it!

Kat was very helpful with all our queries and helped us make the most of our stay. We were on a powered site, not much space between units but room to sit on the grass bank at the rear of the van. Showers (complimentary token for 3 minutes) and toilets all good. Enjoyed walks through the park bird and koala bear spotting and the walk to the lighthouse.

This campsite is in a beautiful location, with friendly staff and koalas in many a tree! I stayed in the four bunk room which I had to myself, it was basic but exactly what I needed, just remember to bring your own sheets. Kitchen and toilets were clean, and the staff give you shower tokens when you arrive. Plenty of space in the camp, with horses, goats and chickens to say hello to. I didn’t have time for any activities but there is a splash park for kids and lots of tables to sit at if you didn’t bring camp chairs. 10/10 would recommend even if you don’t leave the park you could easily have a lovely holiday in the bush just here. Thank you Bimbi Park!

We absolutely loved our stay at Bimbi Park! Camping under the koalas is a unique and exhilarating experience. There is nothing else like waking up at the crack of dawn to the songs of all the different animals. I spent my days looking into the trees, watching and hearing all of the different species of birds. Just a 45-minute walk from the campsite, you'll find the lighthouse. Totally worth the trip. Just make sure to take the back pathway instead of the road like we accidentally did. I appreciated the campsite's facilities. There were plenty of toilets with toilet paper and showers. They will give you coins to take a 3 minute shower each night of your stay. I believe you can purchase more coins if you need a longer shower. There were a lot of activities right onsite and they even showed a movie for the kids one night. Firewood is available for purchase, assuming fires are allowed in the area at the time of your visit.

Camping under koalas is their slogan and they were not lying! When I woke up in the morning after spending the night in a beautiful off grid solar powered eco cabin, there were 5 koalas in trees right next to the cabin! I had a great experience from start to finish. A great family run business with fun for all the family!

Yelp
I really enjoyed camping for 2 nights under the koalas. There were at least 5 hanging around everyday. Lots of great things to do out here. They have a lot of options for camping including cabins, caravan sites, powered campsites an bush camp sites. We stayed in the bush camp where spots weren't designated, you just find a cleared place to set up your tent in the bush. There were a lot of trees so we were protected from the wind. Best thing was having our own camp fire to sit around! They have a pizza night on Saturdays and provide dough and toppings! They do horse back riding tours for only $50/hr, glow worm tours $8/pp and have a lot of walking trails to choose from. They even have a rock climbing apparatus. One of those tall towers.... Not climbing on real rocks as I initially thought. Informative and friendly staff too! The showers are beautiful and you pay $1/3min. Great kitchen facilities and tv room where a lot of young kids were watching cartoons. This place is so family friendly. There were kids and families everywhere riding their bikes, sitting around giant Bon fires and having a Wonderful time. It's about an hour drive to the 12 apostles and 20 minutes away from Apollo bay. (Get your coffee here!) Whatever you do don't miss the turn off! We did! We lost phone reception and missed seeing the 1 sign that said turn left in 300m. We drove for 25 minutes before we got reception again and had to turn around!!! Add that to time spent driving from melbourne! Maybe keep a map in the car when traveling; I plan to!

Yelp
Dirty kitchen, extremely dirty toilets and showers. Rude welcome. These days Koalas are kept off trees by steel cuffs. Thus no more Koalas on camp site. The operator claims they kill the trees. All in all one of the worst campsites i have seen in Australia.
