It's an amazing place to visit! The road is perfectly maintained so you'll enjoy driving and watching beautiful sceneries of rock formations and the beach along the way. So glad and thankful to the government for making such things well-maintained and free to access. AlhamduiAllah 🙏🍀🪷

The Sinkhole is a serene oasis surrounded by greenery, ideal for those seeking tranquility. Swimming can be crowded, so it's best enjoyed by those eager to immerse themselves. However, the surrounding landscape offers peaceful beauty. When visiting, remember the cultural significance of the area and dress respectfully, in line with local Islamic traditions. Despite the crowds, this oasis is a destination worth exploring.

A must visit if you do go to Muscat. It is about an hour away from muscat, but we did Tiwi Beach, this sinkhole and wadi shab as it's all on the same route, a few KM from each other. Take your snorkelling shoes with you as the rocks are sharp and slippery in places. It's free to enter the park, which contains the sinkhole, but expects coaches full of people to arrive from midday. Recommend to go early.

They say that a meteor fell on that part of land in Oman and that's how the sinkhole has been created. It is nice and calm. I went on a weekend during the afternoon and it wasn't as crowded as expected. There is no ticket to visit the place. There's a restroom to change the clothes for those who want to take a dip in the water. For those who don't want to swim, you can sit on any of the boulders in the water, dip your legs in the water and get a good fish spa to your legs. The place is on the way towards Sur if you're coming from Muscat.

It's beautiful, but not a place to do much swimming. Can spend maybe half an hour there.

Beautiful place, we visited there on weekday in the morning, there was not much people. So quiet and tranquil. Tiny fishy nibbling on feet 😅. It’s was worth the drive, love the beach road on the way to sinkhole, we have stopped on the beach , saw many tortoises, loads of fish .

It was a nice place indeed. Really enjoyed the time spent there. It seems popular with the locals and tourists both. One should take a dip here with care, it would be a once in a life time experience. Place has the rest rooms as well.
