If you visit after viewing videos on Instagram, you might miss the true beauty in person. Still, there are sights that are worth experiencing at least once. It's a natural marvel. The crystal-clear water provides a refreshing atmosphere. If you can swim, you can enjoy the water there. However, the bathroom facilities are not well-kept.

Beautiful but busy place. Well kept gardens with a large sinkhole at its centre. Lots of tourists at peak times as all the local tour companies come here. It’s worth a visit if you’re passing by or visiting other local attractions like Wadi Shab. Parking is free and there is access to very basic toilets.

A fun and nice experience to stop and check out for maybe an hour. Swimming is allowed but at own risk. There are toilets and a parking. Beware that there are little fish and when you stand still in shallow water, the fish detect your feet or legs (the skin, maybe small particles, dead skin etc.). They come to them and nibble/bite/suck lightly. Because you are not moving, the fish feel safer / undisturbed and will approach. If you swim around or move, they often scatter. Its a funny tingling sensation and not harmful.

This is quite a popular place with tourists. Quite a few people like swimming inside the sinkhole itself. If you go quite early you might get the place to yourself and it can be quiet, relaxing just to look at the sinkhole and appreciate how epic it looks. The colors of the water and the cliffs just contrast. So amazingly like many different spots in Oman.

Bimmah Sinkhole is pretty much what it sounds like, a big hole in the ground filled with water. The surroundings aren’t much to look at, just a fenced area with a few trees and bushes trying to pass as a park. The water is lovely, warm, clear and great for a swim. Just be ready for tiny fish that like to nibble at you. It’s harmless but the first time it happens you’ll definitely notice. Worth a stop if you’re nearby and fancy a quick dip.

BIMMAH Sinkhole🏊‍♀️ (Hawiyat Najm Park⭐️) is one of Oman’s famous natural attractions. It’s in AL Sharqiyah region, between Muscat and Sur, About 90 minutes’ drive from Muscat. Visitors can swim🏊‍♂️, picnic🥘, and relax 😎there. Best time to visit Morning or late afternoon—midday sun gets harsh.

We were there during Ramadan and the place was quite empty. Parking is free, entry is free. The water seemed very deep with no life guards around. No one was swimming; most people were just soaking their feet in the shallow water. There are small fish in the water that will nibble at your feet; it is quite relaxing. Again, I wouldn’t recommend swimming. But good for a quick stop and a free foot massage

It’s nature’s wonder 💭.. so I must give 5⭐️ And they maintained its surroundings very well.. spacious park for picnic for families but not recommending in peak summer 🥵
