Bin 415 Wine Tastings & Private Tours

We had a great two days with bin415, specifically Kelly! He truly listened to what we were interested in seeing and doing and tailored the two days specifically to us. He was a wealth of knowledge both about wine and San Francisco. Would highly recommend to anyone coming to the area!!!

Was very happy to have gotten a private tasting here on my little trip. Bin 415 is in the luxurious Fairmont hotel just right around the corner from the front desk. Kelly was so cool to have me set up a reservation on short notice and was an awesome host. I'm pretty new to this whole wine thing but he has a great way of explaining things easily and with his own entertaining twist and I learned and retained a lot of info. There are about 3 different flights and I had him customize mine and walk me through it, mainly specializing in red wine from Napa and Sonoma etc. The tr was a very relaxing lounge setting with awesome artwork from Jeremy Fish also that's a plus but I will happily come back and hope to get another personalized private tasting!

Mike and Paige are the best!! Everything was custom tailored to our wine tastes and preferences. The winery visits included personal tours of the wine caves and wonderful conversations about the wines and history of the vineyards. So delicious and beautiful! Lunch was awesome and Paige is amazing to hang out with and talk to during our ride. It was a special treat!! And bonus! Mike arranged wineries that were also dog friendly so we got to bring our beloved basset hound to enjoy the trip and scenery with us. <3 Thank you so much!! Truly one of the best birthdays ever :)

It was a fantastic tour of Napa focusing on mountain wines but with a thorough walk through (and drive around) of the valley as well. In between, we had a fantastic lunch at The Brasswood Bar and Grill with Kelly who even knew off menu items, amazing! The wineries had beautiful wine and architecture and the estate hosts were very welcoming. If you have kids/young children, Kelly was patient and very accommodating with our 5 year old daughter too! We will be back, thanks for a wonderful day!

This is our Second time using Bin 415 for Napa tasting. They are always very professional, timely and knowledgeable. We had an amazing time. We selected one of our favorite wineries to start with they selected 2 stellar wineries from their relationships. They were perfect. Kelly our driver - sommelier made the day fun and informative. We will use them again.

We recently had the pleasure of experiencing two private wine tasting tours arranged by Kelly of BIN 415—one in Napa Valley and one in Sonoma—and we couldn't be more impressed. From the outset, Kelly took the time to truly understand our wine preferences, which ensured that every vineyard we visited was thoughtfully selected to match our tastes. Each day featured visits to three unique and exceptional vineyards, with a delicious and well-timed lunch break that perfectly complemented the day’s itinerary. The balance of experiences—from boutique estates to more established wineries—was spot on, and the pace was relaxed but never idle. What really stood out was Kelly’s deep knowledge, not only of California wines, but of wines from around the world. His insights elevated the entire experience and added context and richness to each tasting. Kelly also went above and beyond by recommending fantastic restaurants in San Francisco for our evenings, all of which turned out to be just what we were looking for. If you're looking for a curated, thoughtful, and truly enjoyable wine experience in Napa or Sonoma, we can't recommend Kelly and BIN 415 highly enough.

I don’t know where to begin. I absolutely loved this experience. Our tasting guide was beyond knowledgeable and welcoming. It was such an intimate experience and the wines were divine. Truly a gem inside the Fairmont hotel. If you love wine, do yourself a favor and stop in. Do keep in mind that this experience is a bit more expensive and the value is up to your discretion, however, as someone who loves wine the price was not a deterrent for us.

This Review is for the Bin415 Tasting Room at the Fairmont: We started my birthday evening off here before heading to dinner at another venue. I love wine and always look forward to learning more about the varieties, I was really excited to try some of wine country's best, all while avoiding a drive into the valley. Upon arrival, the doorman directed me to Bin415; which was just a short walk through the hotel lobby. The ambiance was luxe, set in a most beautifully decorated lounge: this felt so ideal for the special occasion, the vibes were amazing. Our host and Sommelier, Kelly was super knowledgeable on the wines, sharing the rich history on each bottle as he poured and we tasted. The selection of wines was delicious, super "safe" and palatable- nothing was overwhelming, or too "young" and we really enjoyed the Cabernet above all. We wanted to purchase the Cab, but they had unfortunately ran out. Kelly was nice enough to offer his open bottle, however we insisted on coming back after a restock. This is a place you must try if you'd like to learn more about wine, don't feel like going all the way to wine country for a tasting, or if you're simply looking for a tasteful night out to enjoy fine wines.

My wife and I were staying in San Francisco for the weekend so we decided to see if there were any tasting rooms in the city. We found several listings, but Bin 415 looked like the most promising one so we made a reservation. We had an amazing tasting at their San Francisco tasting room in the Fairmont Hotel. We opted for the "reserve" tasting and all of the wines were excellent. The sommelier was incredibly knowledgeable, which made it a very educational experience as well. The room was very pleasant as well, with a nice view of San Francisco.

What a great experience!! We ventured into the city to meet a few of our friends who are big wine connoisseurs and decided to make a reservation at Bin 415 Tasting Room in The Fairmont Hotel because our friends were staying there. Being that we are the novice couple of the group we thought that we could learn a little more while enjoying time with our well seasoned group. First of all, the tasting room is beautiful and very nicely decorated. Really classy! The ambiance was amazing overall and had a very comfortable and relaxed vibe! Michael the sommelier for the evening was fantastic!! He made it fun, interesting and really left an impression on us, such a knowledgeable guy. To say that he knows what he's doing is an understatement. Our friends were super impressed with his knowledge of wine and recommendations for visiting wine country. The overall experience was just amazing! Not to mention fabulous wines. Just what we were looking for. Something I would absolutely recommend to anyone interested in an upscale wine tasting without being intimidating. If you love a great wine experience this is a must while visiting San Francisco. Driver/sommelier is extremely knowledgable about wines and the Napa region. Beautiful scenery and carefully chosen wineries. A great way to spend a day and learn more about what makes California wines so excellent.

During a recent trip to San Francisco we decided to take a day trip to the Napa area. We were fortunate to receive Mike as our driver/sommelier. His well organized tour was the highlight of our entire trip. After gathering some info from us when we scheduled the tour, he put together an itinerary of winery stops to suit our needs, made all the reservations and even planned a stop for a lovely lunch. Mike is extremely knowledgeable and was able to clearly explain and answer questions to clients on every level. He is very pleasant to be around, and we plan to use him again on our next trip to the "California wine country."

I had the pleasure of having Michael of Bin 415 host a wine tasting party for me at my home(although he said he doesn't usually do parties)! He carefully selected and customized the wines, champagne, and also a cheese pairing for each selection! My guest could not stop raving about how great the pairings were and how knowledgeable Michael was! Great personality and very professional! My party was a huge hit and I was thrilled! I was not very knowledgable about wine and a little intimidated but he made it so easy and enjoyable for me. I highly recommend using Michael for a Napa wine tour, you will enjoy every minute!!

Amazing experience. Great guide, great drive, great selection of wineries adjusted the day of based on our preferences. There is no better way to see the wine regions of California.

Michael from Bin415 is amazing!! He drove us up the coast of California to Napa on our honeymoon over a couple of weeks and it was an incredible experience. My husband had never been to California and he was a great guide (always had recommendations for things to do, restaurants, etc.) He is so knowledgeable about wine and took us to many incredible and different wineries in Napa and Sonoma that we never would have discovered on our own. He is also a really nice person. Can't recommend Bin415 highly enough!!
