Binders Art Supplies and Frames - Buckhead

My go-to art store now that the location in Ponce closed down. Sadly, it's around an hour away so I only go when I've racked up a list of supplies needed. The staff are amazing and always helpful! I would have loved to work there if I lived closer, the atmosphere is amazing. They have a great selection, but I'm hoping theyll start to sell Leuchturrm sketchbooks since it's one of the best brands. The loyalty program is GREAT. If you have an art school ID or email, the discounts are amazing. If you have one, I can absolutely recommend you get your supplies here. A few months ago I was buying supplies for the semester - without the discounts and loyalty program, my total would have been around 300 dollars (oof..) but once they put in my number it was barely above $200. Practically had a heart attack of happiness haha. Definitely worth the drive rather than spending waaay more money at a Blicks or Michaels. I wish I knew my favorite cashier's name because she's such a sweetheart and deserves the recognition!! Please never shut down, you're keeping my wallet sane:)

I haven't shopped here for years. Nice to know it is exactly like I remember. The staff person is extremely nice. Don't forget to sign up for their loyalty program for a significant discount on your purchase!

I had such a great experience at Binders Art Supply! The staff was incredibly helpful—knowledgeable, friendly, and genuinely interested in making sure I found exactly what I needed. On top of that, the prices were amazing—super affordable without sacrificing quality. It’s so refreshing to shop somewhere that supports artists with great deals and excellent customer service. I’ll definitely be back!

Excellent customer service, friendly staff, and great selection of art supplies! I had a slight order mishap but Eric and Howard handled it immediately with professionalism. They made me feel cared for as their customer and I appreciated the quick response! Greatest art supply store in Atlanta. Knowledgeable staff, fantastic selection, good vibe. Shop truly local and sign up for email list to get occasional discounts. Lots going on here with artist demos and classes too.

Honestly, this store pushed me to reduce my big box corporate visits. I've been helped by three different people who work here, all insanely helpful and kind and encouraging. Legitimately a store I have to force myself not to visit everyday. I was so terrified of getting into art in my 30s and the people at this store banished that fear. Do not go to any other lifeless chains for your art. Go here and be a loyalty member.

This place sits in a busy location that is tucked behind and on the side of its shopping plaza. The parking is great once you become custom to the area, unlike other art supply shops within the inner city of Atlanta. My review is based on my style of art which demands journaling, penmanship, ease of use and comfort. I am constantly in odd positions to sketch a concept regardless of where I am, only later to have it scanned to work on digitally. The store lacks a variety of brand journals that have a range of usages for structure like drafting and sketch notes. They do have their own brand which I've tried, but the paperweight is too heavy which minimizes the amount of sheets I can use within one book. The organization of its pens, markers, and stationary tools are about what you may expect from an art supply store, but you can tell that their focus is on painters. So that one section on the wall which may be short of an aisle is what you get. So unique bags, pen holders and other mobile stationary that one may need you might not find it here. Now they are knowledgeable to help you work with the supplies that they already have, but most of the items are essential for painters. Which again you can tell that painters and larger printmakers are their focus. I will say I would still shop here before I would go to a Staples or Office Depot, because their brand in mechanical pencils, and drafting pens. However I would have to go somewhere else for totes, bags and journals.

The employees were so incredibly kind and helpful, the selection of items was super large (especially for sketchbooks and canvasses!), and the items were reasonably priced, especially for a family-owned business. I wish I lived closer so I could come here all the time! The store was so much bigger than I was expecting, too, which was really cool.

I visited this store and found it reasonably stocked for watercolor supplies, but found the pricing structure to be not to my liking. You have to become a member to get the best pricing. We'll, I tried to become a member, but the helper was new and was never able to get my membership information into the computer, so the pricing I would have had to pay was not acceptable. I'm afraid I left without purchasing.

I have been to binders a few times to have paintings reframed. They do a great job. Pricing is may be a little higher than some others but not noticeable. I will definitely go back if I have more framing needs.

If they don't have it, you don't need it. They appear to have art lessons for painting on canvases but they are not located close enough to my house for me to endure traffic.

Binders Art Supplies and Frames is an artists' dream. Whether you're an inspiring artist or a professional, Binders got you. Anything from canvas, paints, pens, frames, etc. It located in Buckhead, not too far from Lenox Mall off Piedmont in the Kroger shopping center. Binders actually has its own parking lot which I didn't know until I parked and walked over. My daughter heard about Binders from her artist friend. She begged me to take her months ago but we were able to go today. It is open daily. It is bigger than I would have thought. It is located in the basement and you have to take the stairs down. There is an elevator if you are not able to take the stairs. We were welcome by all the workers as soon as we walked in. We saw the drawing supplies! At the corner, there is a section where you can test the pens. My daughter took that chance right away. She said she never has drawn on those and they are well known. I have no idea what they are called. She had a great time drawing and leaving her mark. We walked around. I ended buying drawing pens, sketchbooks, and two canvas (60-70% off!!!) When checking out, we learned about the rewards program. Signed up under my daughter. Since she is a student, we got an additional discount. Overall, great experience and will come back. I have ideas I want to bring to life as well. 22/2018

I have been going to Binders consistently since moving to Atlanta simply because of the knowledgeable, passionate and customer oriented staff. Having visited other similar shops I have found that this location and staff (especially those at the frame shop) a second to none. I would recommend this Binders location to anyone without fail or hesitation

It's best you come here with a codified shopping list that you vow to stick to. You should also wear earplugs. Otherwise, you'll fall victim to the seductive calls emerging from canvas stacks, thick tubes of paint, diaphanous papers, and friendly salespeople. To properly defeat/resist the friendly salespeople, you should reinforce your armor with double Teflon poser disdain -- the kind you readily find at art school. If you follow these simple tenets, you'll probably get in & out of Binders without having to establish a new line of credit. F'reals.

Finally I can join the cool kids that have been to Binders. I've flirted with other art supply stores around town, but Binders? I wouldn't mind getting serious. Binders is hidden in between Cost Plus World Market and a Jason's Deli. She's unassumingly tucked in the corner - you have go to down a flight of stairs to get to this magical cavern of art supply goodness. They have everything an arty girl could ever need, want or invent - serious art supplies but also reasons for the non artistic to step into here too. A very cool selection of paper goods - think fun paper funky enough to deserve a place on my wall - frame one of the vintage map ones for a low cost, superfast piece for your bathroom - is just one of the non arty reasons to pop in. They also have a selection of smaller frames, gift items, and any fancy sketchbook you could ever shop for. If that isn't enough to entertain you, the aisle names being labeled with streets in Atlanta should be: "Ohhh. . let me meet you over on "Ponce de Leon" by the pastels!" They also have art classes if you have a Picasso or even a Terry Richardson urge - think everything from beginning watercolors for adults to digital photography help. The custom frame shop team is refreshingly friendly and helpful - they have a huge selection (thank goodness, because it IS called Binders Art Supplies & Frames), and right equipment to get that cute picture of you and your honeymuffin framed up just right. Yay for art supplies!

BEST pricing for stretching large canvases and a dreamy selection of art supplies and competitive pricing on them. I was shopping around for stretching a large canvas and they were almost $100 less than their competition. Enough said. They always do good work.

VIsited today. I am walking impaired and use a mobile device, in this case my bike, to get around. I lean on it. I can't walk more than a few steps. I've done this every time in Binders with zero aggression. until today. Man says he can't let me in like that. I tell him that I'm not able to walk around. He says do you have crutches? Dude I came on a bike. I said I've been here 7 times like this, always OK. He repeats, we can't have you in here like that, put it by the door. THis is how they treat disabled people? I ask how I'm supposed to shop for stuff. He repeats can't let me in here in case I make stuff fall off the shelf. Again, I ask, how can I get stuff? He says sorry he can't let me in like that. I ask him , is this how you treat disabled people? He says sorry again, and I've had enough. This is how Binders treats someone with a disability. I'm disgusted at this store.

Went with my two year old to buy a few things to have fun with, service was great and they helped me save money too! Awesome art supplies :)

Just visited the Buckhead location and was so disappointed. Terribly under stocked - lots of empty shelves and racks. Empty spaces where the Golden paint I usually buy should be located. Made me wonder if they are going out of business.

The artistic side of me was drawn to this place on a day that I spent the better part of the afternoon looking for a bag (of sorts) to transport some equipment. I DJ on the side and recently purchased a mixer that has become my new 'best friend.' Like most DJ equipment, it is fairly sensitive and does not travel well. so, long story short, I found something better than a duffel bag and less than luggage at Binders. This place is well concealed despite being in the 'disco' Kroger shopping center. Follow the sign in the corner of the shopping center next to 'Cost Plus: World Market.' The store has darn near everything an artist could want/need. The service was great! If you're an artist you probably already know about this place; if you don't......go here!

I am shocked and disappointed when I visited Binders yesterday. They changed the layout of the store which made it bit confusing for me to navigate around the place. What is the most disappointing part of the store is they are extremely understocked. Several bare spots on shelves and display cases. Very disorganized. The Binders on Ponce is better, but I am expecting the Buckhead store be much better and fully stocked. Very disappointed. I left the store buying nothing. Are they going out of business sometime soon?

While Binders is the best (only?) art supply house in Atlanta, I would urge caution if you take a class there. I love the store but not the classes.The four stars is for the STORE. Classes get NO STARS. I took a "beginners OK" oil painting class and it was AWFUL. I even asked the instructor if it was OK for a complete n00b to attend the class and he said yes. Despite this, the instructor was clearly not interested in beginners and he was abusive towards me and the other beginner in the class. He forced me to use charcoal (rather than paint) and yelled at me when I asked if I could use some paints I already had. He insists that everyone buy pricey paints, brushes and canvases even if it's your first time touching oil paint. He also yelled at me to "shut up and do what I say" when I tried to ask a question. He was a completely despotic and ineffective teacher. I only took 2 classes and quit. Binders didn't do anything when I complained about the instructor. It was an extremely negative experience and I didn't go back into Binders for more than a year after it. I'm over it now, but I STRONGLY suggest meeting and vetting the instructor yourself BEFORE you pay hundreds to take a class with a self involved, self important jerk like I did. The horrible instructor is still teaching, so if you are taking painting, AUDIT a class first. Take my advice: make sure the teacher is right for what you need. Binders obviously does not keep any sort of satisfaction stats on their instructors nor do they track complaints as far as I can tell. I think they should offer a documented feedback method for their classes and instructors. it would have saved me the $$. Just be careful and meet the instructor before you pay - especially if you are taking a painting class.

If you're a crafter, don't rely on Binders to fill a niche for you; if you're an artist, welcome to heaven. Seriously, Michelangelo wishes this place was around in the Renaissance. Aisle after aisle of wax for encaustic, tons of variety of paints, colored pencils, markers, and pastels, and an entire back wall filled to the brim with any kind of paper/canvas you can imagine wanting to use. It's incredible. Don't think for a second that this wide variety of options means they give up quality for quantity. Oh no. Everything in these sacred walls is top notch, sometimes with a price point to match. Yet even the expensive items tend to be cheaper than buying them elsewhere, so don't skimp! Even the staff here is super helpful and friendly, so feel free to ask questions and get all the info you need. Now for crafters, there are some stamps, inks, and of course plenty of papers to pick from, but this is mostly a shop for the diehard artist or a budding artist in search of starting tools. Still, crafters should check this place out to find charcoal or pencils or other odds and ends to experiment with - who knows what goodies will inspire you next? I love getting to come here, though the early closing time means I usually can't come except on weekends.

Top notch art store all around when it comes to supplies. I've never attended any classes, but they've had demo days where a bunch of product representatives will have tables there to pitch their latest products. If you happen to catch wind of when it'll be or stop in during it, it's actually pretty cool and not just people hocking stuff at you to buy your loyalty, more or less. Plus they give out free samples of art supplies. I usually come here for paints or pens. They always have an interesting selection of new items, and also just a lot of niche stuff for artists. Crafters won't really find a majority of what you'd see at a Michael's or Hobby Lobby, but they do have specialty papers and envelopes, all sorts of sketchbooks, portfolios, and desks catered to draftsman/artists and a plethora of other items for a variety of disciplines. In the last year or so they've even added prop make up, latex, and body paint. The store also doesn't just cater to the veteran artists, they have several beginners kits and kits for children to spread their creative wings. The staff seems genuinely helpful... the last time I went in I think I was asked if they could help me about five times.... I must have looked lost or suspicious... Anyways, be wary. It's easy to rack up Christmas in this place with how many cool trinkets and doodly doos you can add to your artistic arsenal.

As an art student alumni and designer, I have spent countless hours and hard-earned coin in other art stores in town. That changed today when I walked in the doors of Binders. The dazzling rows of creative inventory made me feel like a kid in a candy store. A really BIG candy store. This place is mecca for anyone that ever wanted to create. From paint supplies to the coveted unicorn head key-topper I scored, Binders sets itself apart from the other shops in town by its unique culture, gallery, friendly and passionate staff. No attitude, true customer service. Alas, I missed out on this gem when I was in art school. But now that my chain has been rattled and its time to break out the old X-ACTO knife, band-aids and head for their their street art section (yes they have one). My backyard will never be the same. And as for my artwork that's been sitting on the shelf, its time for a frame-a-thon. Tip - Sick of singing cards? (OK the recordable ones can be obnoxiously fun if you're clever) for a truly unique greeting, skip the megastore's dribble scribble and check out the origami and box card sets.

This is by far the best art store in Atlanta...well really anywhere. It is humongous and you can find literally anything artsy you could possibly imagine. I love the selection of prisma color markers, the giant paint selection, the cheap canvases... I could go on forever. I have my BFA and although Binder's is the farthest art store from my house, I would skip Sam Flax, and Pearl, and Utrecht to come here. The staff is so helpful with locating anything you need and they are super friendly! Plus 10% discount for students! W00t

Who knew becoming an adult meant having a large amount of framing needs? Okay, if I'm being honest, I made a New Years resolution to myself at the beginning of 2019 that I would FINALLY get my UGA diploma framed (it's only been about 7 years since graduation!) As we were heading into November this year, it dawned on me that I was going to let another full calendar year slip away and still not get this one simple thing done. A quick peruse of the interwebs showed that while I had several options for a framer in my area, Binders was definitely the way to go. I ended up taking several items that I needed help with and was so pleasantly surprised at the level of service, options and suggestions from the framer, and the quality of the finished product. Not to mention, I thought the pricing was incredibly reasonable given the caliber of the work. Guess who is headed into 2020 with a framed diploma and a whole slew of ideas of things I need framed now! I may not be much of an artist, but I will always be a patron of Binders, for framing needs and beyond!

Binders is a really extensive art supply store with a helpful staff. You can find just about everything you'd need for your project (for anything missing, go to Pearl!), plus a picture framer, and fun little things that you never knew you wanted, like novel bookmarks, pens, lunchboxes, and magnets. Plus, if you're a student, they offer a student discount. This was convencient for my art school days. This a a great place to find a gift for the friend who has everything...You can create something from the stuff you buy or you can find plenty of readymade creative things. I'm a huge fan of Pearl, and that remains my favorite art supplier, but Binders is a second runner up for sure. If only all the cool art stores would move out of Buckhead!

Scoutmob lured me in here. I was not familiar with Binder's until I saw it on Scoutmob and I knew I had to get in on this deal. I am not artistic at all and purely wanted the discount so I could come up with some gifts. I have several people in my life who have extreme artistic talent so I knew this would be a great place to get some goods for them. It was a difficult to locate at first...I drove around the shopping and center and then aha! I saw the sign. Turns out its in the basement of the shopping center. Which is cool because you can park in a smaller side lot and avoid the mayhem of the main lot. When I first entered I was overwhelmed and had a little bit of anxiety. Me in an art store is like a mime at a concert - or some kind of equivalent to that. After wandering around for a bit I found what I was looking for. I was approached by several associates but didn't ask for help because I didn't want to sound like a total art idiot. I ended up spending way more than intended and got gifts for a good friend, my brother and some fun stuff for my niece. I cannot imagine not being able to find anything you needed art wise here because it seems like they have everything. Thanks Binders for crossing some people off my Christmas list!

I participate in workshops at Binders and use them for my art supply needs. These guys are great. If you look puzzled someone will help. If you can't find it, they will show you where it is...and on occasion they may have to order it for you...but, they will. Jay and Howard support the art community. I'm in several groups and they are eager to support the art groups in their pursuits. I don't know of a better or fairer place to buy my art supplies. If you haven't checked them out...please do. I first shopped here as an Art student -- with a specific list of certain items I MUST HAVE because Professor HeadUpHisButt wouldn't let me use the stuff I already had. I have continued to shop here after graduating from art school because of everything it is. If there is a heaven - I imagine that it is like this, except everything is free and you can pull stuff from the shelves and start using it right away. At any rate, store staffers are friendly, outgoing, quirky, artistic, and talented at finding the EXACT THING that you have been scouring the isles for thirty minutes searching for. And if you don't know exactly what you need - but have an idea... they can figure it out. No kidding. Okay - true story: I made these wooden things for my niece and nephew and wanted to be able to hang them, but wasn't sure what I could put on them that: 1) wouldn't go through to the other side, 2) would fully support the weight of the project, and 3) would last forever. And what do you know... in less than 3 minutes I had in my hand exactly what I needed - even though I hadn't thought of it. But I think that's the best thing about Art-People anyways: their friendly ability to help a fellow ArtsyType think outside the box and get the job done. Not only does this store employ said Art-People, but they stock everything that *I* have ever possibly thought of (pertaining to the art world). However, I have to limit myself to only two of three trips per year because I get carried away (Ooooh, I need this! Ooooh, I need this! Ooooh, I need this!) and end up spending more than I planned... even though it's TOTALLY WORTH IT!

Binders was my home away from home for first quarter at Portfolio Center, and I highly recommend this place for art supplies for students on a budget. If you're given a list of items and you have no idea what they are, the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful in guiding you to where it is, telling you what it does, and suggesting other items (or projects too). They offer a wide selection of classes there as well, bookmaking, calligraphy, stamping, and more. They give student discounts, and once you're in the system, you never have to show them your id again. They also have an elevator available to go downstairs to the shop for those who may need it. Oh and one time they had me waiting (it didn't seem long) because of a computer glitch, and offered me a water bottle for the wait. Very nice people.

Aisles and aisles of treasure! They have an extensive selection of every art supply I could ever need or want. I wish they had more in the way of books, but the ones they have are great.

Most everything an artist would expect an art store to have in Atlanta. The hours are fairly convenient to us creative types. Plenty of coverage in the paint and canvas departments. Paper department isn't slack either. Oh, and if you need a frame, they will have what you want - you will pay for it though. The staff and mgmt are knowledgeable about what they sell and really do aim to please. Folks here have gone out of their way for me on several occasions. Drawbacks are few, but the prices do reflect location, but what art store isn't located on or near Peachtree these days?

This place is so cute! Come here for cards for any occasion but especially for engagements and weddings. They have some of the best cards I've seen (aside from Papyrus) but at like half the cost of a Papyrus card! Also, there's tons of art supplies, canvases, picture frames, etc. Love!

There is one thing that I don't like about Binders. It's like a bunker down there and I rarely if ever get cell reception. But I like everything else about this place, and it's worth being incommunicado when you shop. You can tell when a big review is coming up at a local art school because the aisles will be crawling with sleep-deprived zombies stocking up on last-minute supplies and grunting to each other about how next time they're not going to wait until the last minute. Prices are good, staff is always helpful and friendly and while art supplies always seem to be expensive, they're a little less pricey at Binders. Plus, they will ask if you're "in the system" when you're checking out ... because they track your purchases and give out rewards. It sounds ridiculous when you hear how much you have to spend to earn a gift certificate, but if you're an art or design student, take the 5 seconds to sign up. You really are going to spend that much.

You've heard of "Jane's Addiction," yes? I often think of that band pensively as I enter this story - you see, I have a "frame addiction" that spirals out of control as soon as I walk through the door. Whether it's customer framing or readymades, color or black and white, recycled wood or laminate - oy. I can't get outta that place without spending 100 bills. All kidding aside, the guys behind the custom-framing counter are super nice and will take great care of you.

As far as art supply shopping goes this is it for Atlanta. I do a lot of illustration work, I love mixed media and experimenting with different paper and art board textures. Binders has a HUGE selection of supplies and plenty of other goodies that us artsy fartsy people love to try out and play with. I can spend hours when I drop in for a visit.

I just placed on order Thursday 12.17.15. I was concerned it was not going to make it in time for x-mas after I placed the order. I sent an email on Friday and received a response within 15 minutes that it appeared my order could arrive anywhere between now and 12.25.15. They gave me the option to upgrade, but the cost was much too steep, so I decided to chance it. Lo and behold, my order arrived TODAY (12.19.15). That was insanely fast, accurate and awesome. Awesome business to work with. On top of it all, the item I ordered was $100 cheaper than at other art stores. Ummmm...Binders, you had me at hello.

I dropped off a piece of artwork with the frame specialist a few weeks ago. The gentleman was knowledgeable and able to assist with my million questions, hesitations and back and forth. He called, as he said he would, to let me know it was ready for pickup. I am super excited about my artwork and the frame in which it now lives--A showpiece in my home. Thank you Binders!

I love me some Binders! If didn't live out in the middle of the boonies, I'd be in here blowing my paycheck every couple of weeks. Every time I make the trek out here, I get so excited walking down the stairs... the vast expanse of art supplies, slowly coming into focus below me. Wee! The staff has always been helpful and patient. They always have everything I'm looking for. Plus all of the cute/weird little gifts and toys near the checkout are always fun.

Went to Binders for the first time looking for school art supplies. They had exactly what we wanted and more. I liked the prices. I loved the staff-- friendly and helpful, both. They have children's projects that I want to go back and get. The kids and I will definitely be coming back for more.

Great selection and genius marketing. I was a slave to Sam Flax and their complete lack of service; seriously, the register ladies were the worst and everyone who works there runs away from you. Not here, everyone is helpful, they all know EVERYTHING about their products vs. the "let me get someone" then no one ever arrives to assist you. They've gone out of their way to help me multiple times now, as far as ordering me a completely obscure size of artboard and they're an actual local, family run establishment making me hate myself less for handing money to the person behind the counter. And the best part: they will look you in the eye and say "hello, did you find everything?" not "are you ready or what?"....*COUGH/SAM FLAX.

Binders is the only art supply store that knows how to build community. That's why they thrive, why they appear to like working with each other, and why they treat their customers so well. I seriously cannot say enough great things about Binders!! I am a full-time professional artist and have bought my fair share of art supplies (trust me!). There is absolutely no comparison between Binders and Sam Flax, Michaels, or Dick Blick. Binders has the lowest prices especially on canvases, brushes, and oil paint BY FAR!! Their canvas sale is unbelievable. I got two 3 by 4 feet Art Alternative gallery wrap canvases for 30$ a piece at their canvas sale (its usually about 80)- the exact same canvas is for "sale" at SamFlax for over 200$. I have searched high and low for prices lower than Binders and nothing ever comes close. The staff is very friendly and helpful and bends over backwards for me every time. From special orders to returns no request is too big or too small. Last weekend I needed a very large order delivered to my home and Stuart was so helpful getting it to me that same day!! He spent such a long time on the phone with me, helping me with my order and making sure I got the best price possible. But don't take my word for it---go see for yourself!

Great prices on what I needed for portfolio school. Slightly cheaper than Sam Flax and plenty of classes and giveaways. I can dig it.

This is the best art supply store in Atlanta, including the newer store at Ponce City Market. I've been coming here for years and was even a customer of the Lindbergh store and the two old Sandy Springs locations. Just about all my art supplies over the years have come from here or mail order. Great watercolors selection--they are the only local store that carries Daniel Smith.

Although I love the variety of fine art do-hickeys and crafting necessities, Binders can be a bit expensive. I love the specialty papers and high quality brushes and I could get lost for hours in the long and overflowing shelves.

Very helpful staff and the deals on canvases keep me on the return. Everytime I go in I spend more than I meant to but it's usually worth it. Really reasonable prices and again...very helpful staff.

As a wannabe artist, I really appreciate a spot where they know their stuff and can help a nincompoop like myself navigate the aisles with ease and confidence. All of the employees here are practicing creatives. They know their products well, and if they don't they will find someone who does!! I can't get over the great service and friendly atmosphere here. Service and selection are second to none. I'd love to take one of their art classes someday. Make sure you investigate their class schedule as you walk in. Love this place. Will return time and time again.

In a neighborhood filled with upscale boutiques and stuffy shopping plazas, Binders is a refreshing escape. Things are always on sale and you can find some real steals if you look around. They also have multiple options and brands for each supply so you get exactly what you need. They have everything and anything an artist (or even I) could ever want. The staff is very helpful and friendly and the lines move quick even on busy days. This is one of the few Buckhead joints that got it right the first time.

Oh the variety of art supplies!!!!! Paint brushes here, portfolios there! I walked in and almost fell down the stairs from the excitement. Then there is the case of not knowing what you need for a project-well, the staff is more than happy to assist and are incredibly knowledgeable!

Discovered this place last summer when I moved to ATL and was frantically trying to finish up wedding invites. Was sucked in by its wide variety of inventory and local vibe. Prices are competitive, it's real fun to browse, and they offer classes. Really love this spot.

As an art student I absolutely love Binders. It's a little further of a drive to me than other options but I find it to be worth it. The staff is incredibly kind. At the start of each quarter when there is a severe backup in the lines from everyone trying to get their stuff for class, they pass out drinks, popcorn and free t-shirts. We get a student discount and after you spend so much there (which as a student you will have to) you get more deals. They always have what we need and the employees all know exactly where everything's at. If you're a freshmen going there for the first time, you can bring your syllabus and someone will walk through the store with you to speed up finding everything you need.
