An absolute must visit if you're in Puerto Princesa. Small home-made craft store made and sold by the locals onsite. Very large selection of crafts from handbags, coasters, placemats, fanny packs, pencil cases, organization bags, etc... Basically if they can weave it, you'll find it here. You'll probably buy more things than you intended. They make unique souvenirs or gifts for others. Prices are very cheap and staff are very friendly. You can walk into the back where they're weaving all the crafts and they'll even let you try the equipment. Great place to visit and shop.

It is an amazing place to visit in Puerto Princesa. All the handicrafts are beautiful, and it's easy to bring back home lots of gifts for friends and family. It's really interesting to learn about fabrics and the loom !

Weaving is the highlight of this place. The amount of effort they make in order to finish the products is commendable. And the products are also world-class but affordable.

I like this place cause I get to know more about our culture. Also its also thrilling to see how native bags, wallets and the like are made. Its a local government initiative to empower tourism in Puerto Princesa (If I heard it right from the person doing the tour here 😂) They will let you try to weave (for FREE! Its whole new experience) There is a store that sell its finish product. There are cheap products, and with good quality, such as card holder for Php50.00 only. Please support local.

Employees were nice enough to allow tourists to try using the weaving tool. They convince you to try it and they are even nice to take a photo/video of you weaving. There also a shopping area where you can buy their beautiful products.

A short visit to this local handicraft manufacturer was included in the Puerto Princesa City Tour, we took January 2016. Binuatan Creations is the name of this factory & store located near the South Road. They manufacture handloom woven products using Palawan's local fibers & grasses endemic to Palawan. The fiber & grass material are in different colors. Mostly women are employed here. Visitors are treated for a hands-on experience in weaving with the handlooms. There were numerous products for sale in the local shop like ladies bags, pouches, wallets, purses, bracelets, headbands, garlands, slippers, household items like placemats, coasters, table runners, window blinds & curtains as well as small office items. My wife bought a few items from the shop including a nice ladies bag. Prices were very cheap. Highly recommendable.

Visit Binuatan Creations if you want to try hand- weaving using dried grass and other fibers. Beside the weaving area is their showroom where you can buy locally made products like placemats, table runners and banigs (mats made from grass), as well as wild, naturally processed honey, civet coffee and other delicacies from Puerto Princesa.

It’s a nice experience to try to weave. It looks easy but quiet difficult for the unexperienced. You’ll appreciate each product more if you do . You will also have great respect to all weavers.
