Last summer of 2016, I decided to take a vacation in Tablas Island, and, based on the good reviews, I chose Binucot Sunset Cove Resort. Airport transfers can be arranged with the resort, and after a rather long drive through the enchanting countryside we reached the Binucot Sunset Cove. ||||The resort has three cottages at the rear, and a two-story beachfront cottage, which I chose. Amazingly, there's no door. At first I was worried about this, but I was reassured that in Binucot Bay there was almost no crime. In place of a door was a curtain made of strings of beads. The bed was equipped with mosquito netting, and the bed itself was reasonably soft, and, properly positioned, you can lay down and see the beach from the bed! The room has no air conditioning, but that wasn't necessary - the sea breeze is a blessing for anyone from the city, and if that isn't good enough, there is an electric fan.||||The toilet was rather worn, but the hot and cold water worked perfectly. The water was a bit salty, though.||||The food was flavorful and sophisticated, serving sizes were pretty large and good enough for two people. My favorite was the big platter of onion rings that I consumed as a snack - yum! Kudos to the kitchen of Binucot Sunset Cove for such great meals!||||Service was fast, excellent, and courteous.||||Michaela and Willi arranged for me to take tours around the island of Tablas, including an island hopping tour with snorkeling, a trip to Looc Fish Sanctuary, and an around island tour courtesy of Michaela herself!||||Check-out was quick and the rates, given the solitude, relaxation, and adventure afforded by Binucot Sunset Cove Resort, were of good value! I definitely look forward to a return visit! Highly recommended!
