This place has blown my mind. Beach is good and very calm, Most of the time I was the only one on this beach. Certain parts of the beach was simillar to Boracay. Snorkelling was pretty decent as there are variety of fish and corals in the area. scenery is amazing for sunrise sunset and during the day. Accomodation itself was amazing. The Bali Style huts was really well made and an architectural marvel. there was no air-conditioning on the huts but to my surprise it was actually cool and good enough to sleep. There was a tuko in the room which kinda kept me on the edge as it was a bit big and made the tukoo noise. staff were amazing and genuine. food was really good! had one of the best chicken Curry of my life! Felt really relax after visitng this place.||||Michaela organize everything for me from Transfers to tours and she really took good care of me. also met her husband willi and he was extremely friendly. this place is a perfect example of Filipino Hospitality.

Last summer of 2016, I decided to take a vacation in Tablas Island, and, based on the good reviews, I chose Binucot Sunset Cove Resort. Airport transfers can be arranged with the resort, and after a rather long drive through the enchanting countryside we reached the Binucot Sunset Cove. ||||The resort has three cottages at the rear, and a two-story beachfront cottage, which I chose. Amazingly, there's no door. At first I was worried about this, but I was reassured that in Binucot Bay there was almost no crime. In place of a door was a curtain made of strings of beads. The bed was equipped with mosquito netting, and the bed itself was reasonably soft, and, properly positioned, you can lay down and see the beach from the bed! The room has no air conditioning, but that wasn't necessary - the sea breeze is a blessing for anyone from the city, and if that isn't good enough, there is an electric fan.||||The toilet was rather worn, but the hot and cold water worked perfectly. The water was a bit salty, though.||||The food was flavorful and sophisticated, serving sizes were pretty large and good enough for two people. My favorite was the big platter of onion rings that I consumed as a snack - yum! Kudos to the kitchen of Binucot Sunset Cove for such great meals!||||Service was fast, excellent, and courteous.||||Michaela and Willi arranged for me to take tours around the island of Tablas, including an island hopping tour with snorkeling, a trip to Looc Fish Sanctuary, and an around island tour courtesy of Michaela herself!||||Check-out was quick and the rates, given the solitude, relaxation, and adventure afforded by Binucot Sunset Cove Resort, were of good value! I definitely look forward to a return visit! Highly recommended!

Great sunset views. Excellent location -- in the quiet area, and in the middle of a cove, which makes it perfect for beach combing. I had the beach all to myself in the morning. A pleasant treat were the blue birds resting in the shallow waters. Micha was kind enough to arrange for my transport even if she was out of town. Olaf, the manager was very helpful, and accommodating, making sure I have an enjoyable stay. Staff Julie and Onyok provided excellent and prompt service. Fantastic place to recharge.

Our first stop during our Romblon trip was Binucot Sunset Cove. The owners wife Mica was nice to pick us up from the airport and gave us a good information during drive to the resort.||The resort is remotely located with three other, equally small, resorts close by, but in top of that not much more than trees and sea. If you expect bar life and go-go then look again. This place is good for rewind and relax, not for exteme party.||The resort itself was well maintained even the first "room" offered to us was not quite what we expected even it was reasonably priced. So we asked to see an other room, the octagon, which was really nice and clean inside. The interesting thing about the octagon was that it had no windows, but mosquito nets on all 8 walls. Mosquito nets with no additional "cover" or else so the experience was like camping in a luxury tent. All birds, bats, and other animals could be heard clearly. Nice experience as such.||The staff was friendly and food reasonably priced and good which is not always the case in these kind of remote resorts. ||The owners seemed to be a stressed which was the only draw back. In my mind it´s not wise, fair or advised to pour your problems on your guests - thank´s anyway.

Willi and Micha did an excellent job welcoming us into their small hide away retreat on Tablas Island. The cabanas worked out well and the food was tasty. The beach is covered in coral sand, with the usual reef remains, but is comfortable for a lonely walk with barely another person seen. Willi organized a few great dive trips to a pinnacle right off the beach and along the wall along the outside of the cove. First Buddy Divers (on site) is the only dive shop on Tablas. As you would expect from the name, sunsets are amazing here, especially with a tropical drink in hand. ||||This resort is nearly off grid, with just the basic amenities. Internet is sporadic, and I was surprised to actually have it here. This is life on the Philippines nearly 30 years ago, sit back and enjoy the digital detox! The tree shaped bathroom shower in the round cabanas leaves a little to be desired concerning water pressure, but it works and is stylish. Nice mosquito nets over the bed work great, as all rooms have good fans, but no A/C. Screens are in the windows. In January, we only saw a few mosquitos at sunset. Fall asleep to the sounds of the jungle and the gentle lapping of the water on the protected west sided of Tablas. Transportation to and from the airport or ferry dock can be arranged for a minimal fee and is highly recommended. ||||If you are looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of the world, this is the place to do it. Relax, enjoy the natural world and soak in the view!

I stayed at Binucot Sunset Cove Resort from Dec.7 to Dec. 26 / 2018, and I could not have asked for more than I was given there. The staff are super friendly and as helpful as possible, the owner (Michaela) is such a sweetheart and willing to arrange any little specialties you may need while you are there. This is the only place on Tablas Island that will rent you a vehicle. You can rent motorbikes, but sometimes old people need the safety of a car around them!! I had their little car for the full 19 days, I was never questioned or asked about need...it was just understood that was my car!! The food is absolutely delicious, the views are breathtaking, the accomodations are clean and well kept....just a super place for a vacation!! I will be back, for sure!!

Location is very remote. Cottage/Villa we got was nice. Audible were the sound of the crickets when we go to the bathroom.||||Lay out of the place was simple. A few steps from the beach. Nice place to walk.||We ate at the restaurant beside the resort, which we enjoyed, as they did not serve food at the time we visited due to the pending license. ||||Recommending this place.
