Charming, quiet place, discreet, all is very clean. Simple but warm and all we need was there. The value for money of the menu is exceptional; you won’t find this anywhere else. It’s excellent and generously portioned — well done! The beds are as well very comfortable and rooms have beautiful views.

We were really looking forward to our stay here and we were not disappointed. The views are breathtaking, the rooms are beautiful and incredibly comfortable. We paid for half-board and the dinner included was really delicious. Everyone was very attentive and solicitous and offered great tips to make the best of both the hotel and the area. We didn't know it when we booked, but our stay included a card which allowed us to use all the nearby buses, entries to museums, and even use the nearby cable cars for free during our stay. We definitely used it and enjoyed it a lot.

Michaela and Matthias run the best hotel we’ve had the pleasure to experience. Of course the setting in the Ahrntal Valley makes for the perfect backdrop to this clean, friendly, well-organized and wholesome hotel. The entire atmosphere engenders relaxation, goodness and health. The rooms are markedly clean, quiet, and well supplied with natural soaps, shampoo, along with plentiful mountain fresh water. The organic breakfast buffet is varied and copious, as well as delicious, in fact just perfect for any day of long sunny hikes up the slopes - or snow powdered trips down the slopes. The dinners were sophisticated, creative, and equally excellent. Matthias, a trained sommelier, chose impeccable local wines to accompany our meals. We plan to return often.

The scenic view, the sophisticated kitchen with local touch, the amazing rooms, but utmost the friendly hospitality of the entire staff, made are stay wonderful. Highly recommended. Especially for those who like outdoor hiking, stunning nature and great food, should try to book either in summer of winter time. Also for us - a family with three young children and a dog, staff did everything to make our stay as relaxing as possible

The room was beautiful. Had a nice view. Clean and neat. Spacious parking lot. What this place should be known for, was the service and the FOOD!! I've been around the world and experienced a lot, but this is definitely on my top 10 list. So thumbs up for the kitchen staff and the staff for a tremendous job and passion behind everything. 👌🏻👍🏻

Apart from being an architectural masterpiece, we absolutely loved our stay at this place. The room was amazing, staff were friendly and the facilities and food were exceptional. We also really enjoyed exploring Valle Aurina and beyond, so many great hikes and beautiful scenery wherever you look. Will definitely be back - can only imagine how beautiful and cosy this place is in winter !

The ultimate retreat from busy, city life. Mathias and Michaela were wonderful and rightly proud of the beautiful hotel they have created. The food was healthy, yet delicious. The rooms were simple, but lovely. And the views, the sauna and the general ambiance - perfect! Will be returning.

We had a very nice stay in the beautiful hotel for one week. The staff is very friendly and the service is excellent. Good breakfast is offered, a little more variety would be nice, and the food for diner was very good, and nice regional wines on the list.|The valley offers lots of opportunities for hiking, and the use of the Cascade swimming pool is included in the hotel price and was appreciated a lot by the kids.
