Bioma Boutique Hotel

This is a quaint little hotel we found online. It’s listed as the best hotel in Mompox and might be. We arrived late at 8pm after a long bus ride and the night houseman was very friendly and welcoming. He helped carry our bags to our rooms and gave us keys. The rooms are spacious but unfortunately we found several bugs in the shower like cockroaches and spiders. This forced us to keep our shoes on at all times. The man who runs the breakfast in the morning was very sweet and kind. He helped me make the breakfast vegan and even gave me extra toast in the morning since I couldn’t eat the daily eggs. The front desk workers were equally as kind and helpful and always had a smile on their face. The pool was really warm probably from all the sun it receives all day. We didn’t use the rooftop jacuzzi as other people were using it and it only holds 4 comfortably. The hotel is centrally located near restaurants and the water. If in Mompox I would stay here again.

Place is absolutely stunning and very well located. The service is exceptional, very friendly and personalized and every detail of the place is beautiful. We loved the very sober/clean decoration. The rooms are very nice. We weren't crazy about the pillows or the mattress but this was still a highlight of a wonderful trip to barichara

Amazing hotel to stay in Mompox with the family. Staff goes out of their way to please. Rooms are incredibly spacious as expected from what was once a colonial house. Mompox is a special place - it very much seems like it’s frozen in time. Highly recommended

Loved Mompox and loved this hotel. In a great location and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Delicious breakfast with tasty coffee. Situation is great. The swimming pool is very welcoming after exploring the town or after a river excursion. Wish we could have stayed longer!

This is a charming hotel, beautiful and stuff very helpful and friendly but the accommodation is simple, with the exception of the suite room. Amenities are very poor and pool towels need a replacement, they are completely threadbare. Also the payment is a hassle, don’t have credit card machine. Basically is a good hotel but far away from Boutique Hotel standards. Overpriced for what it has to offer.

Beautifully designed place, relaxing atmosphere. Nice pool in the patio to hang around. Super helpful staff getting us everything we asked for. Very quiet. Rich and tasteful breakfast with fresh juice and fruits.|The roof terrace could use a bit of care to make it even nicer.

My daughter & I had a wonderful experience at Bioma Boutique Hotel. We arrived early morning & the lady at the front desk, very nice & friendly, gave us the room the moment we arrived. That was very nice of them. The hotel is beautiful, is an updated old house & they keep it in excellent shape. The decoration is very tasteful. The room is very confortable & modern. All the staff very friendly & ready to answer any question or bring us anything. Breakfast was great, I recommend a typical 'Arepa de huevo", is a fried egg inside a corn tortilla. The hotel has a terrace in the third floor with a jacuzzi which we did enjoy a lot to calm the hot weather of Mompox. Plus from the terrace there is a nice view of the city. We totally recommend this hotel.

Wonderful small and charming boutique hotel. I would definitely come back for more. ||The suite room is stunning with great views and spacious, bathroom area is nice and the pool is suxh a great addition considering the warm weather.
