As others have said, there seemed to be a complete lack of hospitality service spirit.
This is often the case in ‘vegan’, ‘vegetarian’ and ‘natural food specific’ restaurants and food outlets around the world. It is unfortunate.
My hypothesis for the problem/cause of this is that these niche genre restaurants ‘cater to a fixed clientele’ and therefore do not welcome first time customers. ‘Owners and staff take undue pride in their products and concepts’ and therefore look down on customers.
So what do you think?
It was the only vegan restaurant-café in Chișinău, Moldova, which doubled my disappointment.
Almost everything on the menu items was out of stock, and, for all the above reasons, the berry cakes were not very good.
