Birch Coffee

Very cute, very small and cozy. I have lived in the neighborhood for a while but never stopped in. I came in on 01/7 around 3:05pm. The baristas were very friendly and welcoming. The person at the register helped my pick whole beans for my espresso at home and we chatted it up, they were so sweet. Also the drink they made (iced cortado with oat)... absolutely perfect. Espresso tasted amazing. Will be going back often.

Cute cozy coffee shop! Each drink is handmade and made with quality. Great Matcha latte. Drip coffee is smooth and the aroma itself is so comforting. Small, hip local vibe. They have simple syrup on the side counter so you can sweeten your drink to your liking. Selection of baked goods looks good. I tried their blueberry muffin, which was good. It can get busy in there, but service is quick and friendly. Drinks are good. Love Birch Coffee! Wish there were tables or chairs to sit and enjoy the vibe and have a relaxing moment, but it's still nice to stop in and will definitely be coming back.

Absolutely love Birch, the Summer Blend was a perfect nod to the end of summer and the conversation with my barista was fabulous & a flower shop is near by along with Central Park - makes for a lovely day! #coffee #flowers ☕️💓💐

I got that blackberry matcha per the workers recommendation. It tasted like the cereal milk after you eat blueberry mini wheats… the matcha flavor was barely there :/ if that’s your thing go for it (because it genuinely tasted like that), but I wasn’t a fan

This coffee shop is simply fantastic! Undoubtedly one of the best coffee spots in Manhattan. Each cup is just perfect - the aroma, the flavor, the texture, all top-notch. And the freshly baked goods here are just amazing! Pastries, croissants, doughnuts - everything is deliciously crafted with great skill. But what truly sets this place apart is the atmosphere. The cozy interior, pleasant music, and friendly staff - everything is designed for you to enjoy the moment and feel at ease. It's perfect for a solo morning coffee or catching up with friends. In short, it's the kind of place you want to keep coming back to again and again.

Ever had a latte so good it makes you want to cry? Because I just did. It goes without saying that the coffee here is worth the price ($6.80 total for large, medium is actually a small). Customer service was great. Cafe itself is cozy but a bit cramped, so definitely more of a grab and go type rather than a sit in and work/study place. I will be returning when I’m in the neighborhood again :)

Two days in a row, your scones were stale. Ugh. First, your staff told me you no longer carry/ have cherry scones, so I ordered chocolate chip, yet I was given cherry instead. Weird, right? Maybe if they spent less time talking to each other and more time helping customers, this wouldn’t happen. Fast forward to today: I ordered the chocolate chip because the cherry one was stale and tasted awful, and once again the scone was stale and tasted bad. Get it together. Your stuff isn’t cheap.

Great small coffee shop, can barely fit 5 people inside the store. Place has coffee and tea along with a few baked goods. Great blackberry matcha latte. Hard working people behind the counter made it super fast and easy.
