Bird Paradise

Very nice bird shop. They have everything you can think of for bird care. Most of the staff were friendly.

It’s a Bird Paradise for sure! They offer everything you could possibly need for your feathered friend. In addition to a huge variety of bagged foods, they have an utterly amazing bird food buffet, so you can satisfy your birds favs. Their selection of toys, cages, accessories will absolutely astound you. And their birds… are beautiful. And most importantly extremely reasonable pricing.

This is such a great place for bird owners. I haven’t been to another store with as much selection that is all about the birds. Pricing is fair and they have regular sales. I usually shop online from them but never miss an opportunity when in the area to visit the store in person.

I recently visited Bird Paradise with my partner, as we've been searching for the perfect pet bird for quite some time. We were genuinely excited to stop by after hearing about the store’s wide selection, and in that regard, they did not disappoint. The variety of birds, cages, and supplies on display was impressive, and it's clear that the animals are being well taken care of. Unfortunately, what should have been a joyful and engaging experience quickly turned into an uncomfortable and disheartening one. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly unwelcome. Even the simplest of questions were met with snarky or dismissive responses, which left us feeling embarrassed and hesitant to engage further. It was clear we were not being treated with the basic courtesy and respect any customer deserves. Worse still, as we explored the different rooms, we were closely followed by staff in a way that felt more invasive than helpful. My boyfriend became so uncomfortable that he kept nudging me to leave, and I can’t blame him. What should have been a special outing turned into something we'd rather forget. While I wouldn’t feel right giving no stars at all since the birds themselves seemed healthy and well-cared for, and the inventory is undeniably extensive, I can only bring myself to give 2 stars due to the disappointing and off-putting customer service. I hope this feedback is taken seriously, because Bird Paradise has so much potential to be a place of joy for animal lovers, and buyers. If only the staff reflected the same care and kindness shown to the birds.

Sadly, I must part ways with Bird Paradise after having a good run of 7 years in purchasing my bird supplies/needs from them. I know that employees come and go, but quality and customer service mean a lot to me, especially when or where I will be spending my hard earned money. I had called to inquire as to whether there was any food available for the type of bird that I have, as my last trip there they did not have any (it was on back order), so I had to purchase a substitute that was suffice for my bird at that time. I live 40 minutes away where the type of food for my bird isn't available, so I buy in bulk when I do go to Bird Paradise and just spread out the number of trips I need to make so I'm not going back and forth too often. However, I called to find out if the food was available before I made my trip and was placed on hold by Cassandra and left there for 15 mins. I hang up, called back and asked to speak to a manager and was told by Cassandra, that, that was her that left me on hold and apologized saying she got busy and the food was available and than she proceeded to say that I 'yelled' at her which I believe was because I asked to speak to a manager. Then she attempted to argue with me on the phone and said she 'was' the manager and I yelled at her and she hung up on me. I called again and said 'I never 'yelled at you, I only said no one has ever left me on hold that long' and then she starts accusing me of yelling at her again, so I hung up. All I wanted to know is if the type of bird food I needed was available before I took the long ride and not to be falsely accused by an immature employee of something that I was not setting out to do. Cassandra was very rude. After having a smooth, problem free relationship with them for 7 years, Bird Paradise will have to never worry about me doing business with them again and I will share this experience with my fellow bird owners. I will now resort to just having my birds food shipped from another company. and now I don't have to worry about driving there again. I called myself trying to support a small business, knowing that there were other sources available to feed my bird, but if this is who Bird Paradise has running their business now thanks, but not thanks!

I used to think highly of Bird Paradise. I had not been there in a few years due to distance from my home. On a recent visit I was very disappointed. Many bags of seed on shelves were significantly past their "best by" or "sell by" date. The store was also not as well-stocked as in the past.

Stopped by yesterday to look for a bird as an emotional support animal for my son's girlfriend. Spoke with one of the staff for quite a while and she made some recommendations. After spending time interacting with 5 birds, GF decided on a Canary Winged Bee Bee. All the birds were healthy, some more social than others but that's understandable. They have a great selection of toys, cages, food, and are always available to answer questions. A deposit was put down and we were told we could come as often as we wanted to play with the bird and have it get familiar with us. Everything you need in one place at very reasonable prices.

Drove appx hour to visit store...not disappointed...large selection of bird supplies from toys, food, birds also. I found hard to get toys for our larger birds. The people at the store friendly and did not rush you. Was told they also ship. Will definitely return
