Birdie has quickly become one of my favorite stores on Nantucket - and is on my short list of favorites where I send friends and family visiting the island. Nina’s expert eye has curated a collection of fabulous artisans, clothing designers and special home goods. Whenever I stop by, I always have my eye on something new. I love visiting and then going to the Handlebar next door !

Birdie is a unique shopping experience- carefully curated merchandise, that was obviously chosen with great thought. Items from around the world, many that I have never seen before! Exquisitely presented in an atmosphere that makes you feel like you are stepping straight into Nina’s home! Welcoming staff and so many aesthetically pleasing items ! Oh!! And check out the skin care! Magnificent !! … and the pillows!!

Shopping at Birdie, this beautiful new addition to Nantucket’s retail stores, has been a wonderful experience! The sales help are cheerful and extremely knowledgeable, the decor of the store is flawless and the owner, Nina Liddle, has impeccable taste! It is a perfect store for a thoughtful gift or if you want to treat yourself to something special while on Nantucket! Classic taste meets modern luxury! I can’t wait to go back!
