Birdie's Diner

I really love this diner. The atmosphere, the food and the attention to detail in the Diner look and feel. Fun place at the PGA National resort. Had the Cuban sandwich for brunch and it was very good. We were not in a hurry and just enjoyed this cool little diner.

We had an amazing breakfast at the PGA Resort everything was perfect, from the food to the atmosphere. What truly made the experience exceptional was our server, Elvira. She was incredibly attentive, kind, and made us feel so welcome from the moment we sat down. Her energy and service were truly the best we’ve had anywhere at PGA. Highly recommend starting your day here and if you’re lucky, Elvira will be taking care of you!

was here on Sunday for breakfast during our stay on the resort. when we sat down was told by people around here the service was slow. Overall nothing specials about the food. the view was nice and peaceful.

Amazing service from the moment we were greeted. I usually go to The Member's Restaurant as we love the food. But the booth and the view of the putting green and lake was perfect. Elvira greeted me with kindness even though lunch wasn't open yet. Elvira seated us and got us drinks. She took our order early to put it in right when they opened for lunch. Our Food came out fast. Fish tacos were amazing. Highly recommend. Maria was also very nice and helpful when I only came in to purchase sodas and waters for the driving range. What a duo. Try the burger- it’s thick and the chef gets the temperature you want right. I will come in here much more. The first time we only met Elvira to get drinks she asked to get us a bag of ice and help carry out of need be. What else can you ask for.

We received great food and service during the handful of times we visited for breakfast and lunch while we were at PGA National Resort.

This is the PGA so expect top notch food. I had the classic breakfast with skirt steak! This is no ordinary diner as it comes with a full bar right there…I can’t wait to return!

We had a fantastic experience. Everything we ordered was delicious and service was excellent - quick and very attentive. Joni in particular was absolutely wonderful - so kind and helpful. I was there by myself with three kids under 6, and she was great with them and really went the extra mile. Will definitely be back!

Cozy traditional mid-century American diner situated in PGA Resort located at the first golf hole. There is something sentimental about walking into a dining restaurant that resembles that traditional dinner from the 1950's or earlier when golden era diners were sincerely at their finest. We had a wonderful breakfast along with good service. The Retro Diner was named for its location in PGA National Golf Resort. However, our outdoor dinner seating was accompanied by hungry aggressive birds that wanted their share of breakfast.

Restaurant was full and busy and server was pleasant, just overwhelmed. She's the reason there's any stars at all. We had a credit to eat there from our American Express points so honestly I'm just relieved we didn't pay money. Tasteless, bland, and just not good. I ordered the skirt steak... mine was gamey and chewy, my husband's was at least more edible. It was like the leftovers from a hotel buffet than a fresh meal in a restaurant.

Fool me once, shame on them. Fool me 3 times, what the heck was I thinking! The only star is for the ambiance & its feel of an old fashioned diner. Service: slowwww & inattentive all three times. Food: below average. Additionally, the first time the shake machine was broken; The 2nd time, no shakes because the ice cream needed to thaw out. The third time was the worse. The sweet potato fries were dripping oil, the bacon burger was over cooked & had no bacon! A resort restaurant, but only as a last resort!

Was so excited to find a diner at the resort because I wanted just a basic, simple, old fashioned breakfast. Nothing was good other than the service. People were great. I asked for an omelette with Swiss cheese, I thought I heard the cook tell the waitress, 'only american cheese'. Yup, that's what I got and it was bad. Dry, burnt bacon. I asked specifically if the OJ was fresh squeezed. Answer: yes. Reality - not even close. There are so many great places to get breakfast in PBG, don't waste your time here.

I had to order two meals to finally realize they didn't make a good thing on the menu. Our omelettes were overcooked/burnt. It was also very slow service. I will not be coming back here again.

No real selection. Food was average at best. Better off going to Honey Belle which is also in the property.

The ONLY place for breakfast in PBG...Trust me, I was in town for several days and every other place I visited was terrible. Birdies food, service and environment were all excellent!!!

Great atmosphere and a nice variety on the menu with THE BEST customer service. Everyone was friendly and excellent service but I have to give Elvira a BIg SHOUT OUT! Appreciate everyone making it a great experience'

Had a wonderful lunch today at Birdie's Diner, it was my first time there. The food was exceptional, the atmosphere was great, and the customer service was excellent. AMY was very attentive, provided us great service, and with a positive attitude. AMY made our experience a great one. Will be back!

This is the best breakfast I have ever had. I got the original and it was amazing! I recommend.
