Birdies Fried Chicken

Stop thinking about it and just go. I read like 20 reviews before I committed - no need. This place is dope. I got the medium hot Nashville chicken tenders, made fresh to order, with a couple pickles and sauce included. Juicy, crispy, and seasoned just right.

Amazing chicken burgers. Juicy and tender. Their honey mustard sauce was delicious as well. Prices were fair for the portion that you get. Highly recommend this place. Will definitely be going back.

Would've given it 4.5 stars but half stars aren't a thing. Had chicken tenders and the og chicken sandwich. The tenders were good, but nothing to write home about. I would've thought they would be more in line with the crunchy style of the sandwich?? The sandwich though my husband loved. Large portion too. Fries were excellent. Coleslaw was fine. Super friendly staff here :) managed to snag the three bar seats (the only seats inside) which was nice, as we would've had nowhere else to eat.

I got the extra hot nashville fried chicken sandwich. I was informed that my order would take 8 minutes, but it took 16 minutes. The sandwich though, is incredibly good! The batter was super crunchy and the spiciness was not too overwhelming, but just enough to give a good burn. The chicken was very juicy too. Combined with the sweet bun and the tangy truck sauce, I was really impressed with this chicken sandwich.

Best fried chicken in the city and easily up there for best sandwich as well. It’s so clear that the owners care about quality ingredients and put so much care into what they do. I had the OG fried chicken sandwich and drums and I can’t figure out how it could be better. The batter is crispy and seasoned, the chicken is juicy and still stays tender, and the sauce is packed with flavour. For dessert, their Ice Cream shop next door (OOPS Ice Cream) is the perfect compliment and you’d be doing yourself a disservice to leave without a scoop.

I was blown away. I live across town at Queen & Ossington but sometimes head east to the Beaches to walk the dog. My favourite BBQ place isn't open Tuesdays so I just googled "fried chicken near me" and landed here. Never heard of it. Who cares. Had the basic fried chicken sandwich and couldn't find a single thing wrong with it. Hot, spicy but not too spicy, perfect mix of crispy, moist, and tender, and of course a little messy -- but you want that in a fried chicken sandwich. I'll be back. Might have to start alternating this with brisket. ETA: Closer to my hood, I’ve had PG Clucks, Chen Chen, Chica’s, and The Fry. They’re good, but this is better. Now I go out of my way to bring the dog east to the Beaches just so I have an excuse to come here.

The burger was massive juicy, flavorful, and cooked just right. The Nashville seasoning added a perfect spicy kick, but the real star was their homemade truck sauce. It balanced the heat beautifully and brought everything together. Bun was fresh, fries were crispy, and the whole thing just hit the spot. Great vibes, quick service I’ll definitely be back!

Was working 2 blocks up from here I small hole in the wall place bragging of delicious fried chicken and sides. They did not disappoint! Had the Hot Nashville ,the chicken was bigger then the bun , juicy and the best Hot Nashville I have had since leaving Tennessee. Good prices and great service
