Birdnest Collective Cafe & Guesthouse

Great place to stay! Very cosy guesthouse in the middle of Chinatown. Amazing location close to great food spots and public transport. We planned initially to stay for 2 days, but it ended up being 6 days. Self check-in, but communication with the owner via Whatsapp was very smooth and he responded immediately. Oh and, beautiful rooftop, with free water, tea and coffee.

You get what you pay for. Good location but right beside the main street so it can be noisy. Nice balcony with free water. Room smelled a little moldy and the aircon was not so cold. The lights in my room were white so it was not so cosy.

Excellent place to stay in Kuala Lumpur! Convenient location, good rooms, drinking water available, there's a kitchen if you need it, fridge, spacious rooftop to hang out in, very nice staff. Highly recommend!

nice place, good price, strategic place, but little bit hard to find. they have rest roomo on the rooftop. the staff kindly tho. the room kinda spacious, they separate for man and woman dorm. unless u book private room. its not public space, cause u need enter the gate code to come the building.

It’s close to Central market, Dataran Merdeka, Masjid Jamek and Kl Tower also others 💕 Affordable price, cold, clean, has a mat kn the floor., all clean, and the staff very friendly. We like it so much. It’s an unique guesthouse ever meet in the middle of Kuala Lumpur City .

I booked this hotel for my clients. Booked 2 rooms for 2 nights during the month of august. Only reason I booked here was they wanted something to crash at night and in the chinatown area. This had okayish reviews and in reality it was not at all good. 1- super tiny rooms and bathrooms 2- AC didn’t work in one room and it was very hot to manage without AC. 3- since they checked in quite late and noticed it late, manager or the owner didnt respond to the messages. He had left the place at 6pm itself. And there was nobody! 4- they said AC is fine but again the 2nd night it broke down and faced same issue. So i would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Its of no value at all.

11/10. The staff was very accommodating when I arrived. The AC is spot on, not too cold not too warm. The beds are nice and comfortable. The duvets are nice and warm. The showers are warm and good pressure; the toilets are ensuite. They were quite clean. The doors have locks and there are lockers in the room. The 4 bed dorms are comfy. I was lucky to be the only person in the dorm during my stay. The location is perfect as it is just across the Metro station and minutes from China Town. The price on hostel well is very reasonable. The rooftop terrace is wonderful and green and very interesting design, plenty of space. There is free tea coffee and water, and I believe there is a self serve beer counter. Will be back again for sure

We stayed for 3 nights at Birdnest Collective and had a fantastic stay. The room and bathroom were spotless, with many details that made our stay even more comfortable. The rooftop is nicely decorated and it’s perfect for sunsets. There is free coffee and water available. We’ll definitely come back when we are back in KL. Thank you 🙏
