Bird's Nest Cafe

Causes my husband wanna use toilet, so we randomly came here. A nice girl was aware and she said we don’t need to order anything. We still order 1 coffee for appreciation, and the American is soooooo nice, and the deco of shop is cozy and cool. We would definitely come back again for a nice meals!

I just had the most wonderful breakfast. The namesake breakfast includes eggs and spinach atop a thick slice of homemade whole wheat bread. It is accompanied by an impressive array of roasted veggies. Just beautiful. The rest of the menu is diverse and interesting, far beyond what you would expect from a small family restaurant, and far superior to your standard tourist quarter breakfast. The atmosphere is both laid back and comfortable.

I came in for an after breakfast smoothie and totally loved the vibes here. The mango smoothie made with coconut milk was divine, and the interior is decidedly traditional and retro in the best way. They serve foods and have a pretty nice menu of bother Thai and western dishes, but a pretty basic drinks menu. Service was super friendly and helpful and it was a superb place to kill some time.

I came to this cozy cafe twice to do some work. The smoothies were okay, not amazing. The staff was unfortunately both times not very friendly, maybe I caught them on bad days… Three stars for a lovely setting though.

Absolutely Superb! The food has a chefs kiss from me and the atmosphere is so calming and homey. I really recommend the “birds nest breakfast” and “birds nest coffee” from the menu. SO TASTY.

Bird’s Nest Cafe. A cute little café popular with the back packers, I came here for lunch but chose from the breakfast menu, it was more than I usually consume at lunchtime so left suitably stuffed.

Great atmosphere if you want to just take some time out to chill. The people that run the place are very attentive and friendly. I had a smoothie which was super fresh - best smoothie I have had in Thailand so far. Would highly recommend going just to spend some time to chill and eat and drink good food.

Stayed in Chiang Mai for the week and came to bird’s nest on at least 5 of those days! Great place to work with the calm atmosphere, plugs and fast wifi. Lovely selection of food and drinks, including plenty of veggie & vegan options in both Thai and Western cuisine. Highly recommend the big red sandwich - I’m usually not a mushroom fan but in this they’re divine. Big portions packed with love. I will definitely be returning next time I visit! Thank you! ❤️
