We had an incredible breakfast at Biscuit Belly today! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by a kind lady at the front who made us feel like family right away. She answered all our questions with a smile and never made us feel like 'out-of-towners.' The menu is great and diverse—perfect for all types of eaters. We tried the fried green tomatoes, yogurt bowl and the loaded tots, and they were absolutely to die for! Thank you for a wonderful meal to start our day. We’ll definitely be back when we visit Kentucky again!

The best biscuits we’ve tried! We got pancakes, chicken biscuit, and the basic biscuit sandwich for brunch. The biscuits were flakey, warm, and buttery! Sauces were amazing and the tater tots were out of this world. Their coffee is great as well. Service was prompt and attentive.

Biscuit Belly is a taste of home, for me. The sausage gravy and biscuits are much like my Momma taught me to make. We found the mushroom gravy to be a little too onion forward, but the gouda gravy was the star of the meal! The maple mayo for the loaded tots is also great. Service is friendly and fast, lots of seating in a bright space. Food could be 5 star for me if the biscuits had a butter wash, especially for the small biscuits (bonuts.) Overall, decent! We shared a gravy flight, loaded tots, fried green tomatoes and a Rockefeller.

We had a fantastic weekend breakfast at Biscuit Belly. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it the perfect spot to start our day. The menu offered a great variety of creative options, and everything we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. Biscuit Belly is hands down one of the best brunch spots I’ve visited in the Louisville area. I ordered the brisket sandwich with cheesy grits, a side of fried green tomatoes, and the biscuit donut balls. Starting with the brisket sandwich — it was good, but I do wish it had been a little warmer and had more of the jelly sauce on it. The flavor was there; it just needed a little extra something to take it over the top. The cheesy grits weren’t really for me. I’m not a big grits person anyway, but they were a bit clumpy and lacked flavor. Now let’s talk about the fried green tomatoes — absolutely fantastic. Juicy, crispy, and perfectly cooked. I loved them so much I went back and ordered a second batch! They also make their ranch in-house, and it is amazing. I honestly wish I could buy a bottle of it to take home. The biscuit donut balls were also really good, especially with the cream cheese dip they serve with them. Overall, I’ll definitely be back to try more items on the menu. If you’re in downtown Louisville, I highly recommend giving Biscuit Belly a try!

We stopped to pick up a quick breakfast on our way home to Chicago from Florida. The place is really cute, and the ladies working were very sweet. We ordered to go and got our food quickly; the food was delicious. They even had a promotion for free donuts and a reusable coffee cup if you signed up for their app. We will be stopping again on our next road trip.

A nice cozy brunch spot. I had their take on the hot brown sandwich, which replaces the toast with their biscuits. The loaded tots also tasted great by itself, but the sauce made it better. Overall, the service was great, and the food came out fast.

Delicious little breakfast spot. Easy street parking or a lot next door that validates. Great atmosphere inside. Clean. Plenty of tables. Friendly staff that were very welcoming. Order: The Goat. Delicious biscuit. Perfect consistency... Nice texture on the outside and soft moist interior. Nicely fried chicken that provided the crunchy texture, creamy goat cheese added some mild tartness and the sweet pepper jelly added the perfect sweetness. Delicious bite.

If you're a biscuit fan, definitely check out Biscuit Belly. It's a fun restaurant located in downtown Louisville, and they serve up lots of options for biscuit sandwiches. Once you walk in, you order and then grab a number for your table. There were plenty of small booths and tables indoors, and parking was free on the street. We also the Fire in Your Belly, which was a Nashville hot chicken style sandwich. It definitely had a slight kick to it and the sauce was great. The Mama's Boy was also so good, with fried chicken, roasted jalapeño cheese, spicy pickles, and a crispy fried green tomato. It wasn't too heavy and I liked the slight spice on it. The biscuits are definitely on the crunchier side, rather than buttery and soft. After hearing that Louisville was known for the Hot Brown sandwich, we had to get one here. It definitely fit the thanksgiving vibe, with roasted turkey and bacon topped with a smoked Gouda mornay sauce, bacon, and four tiny roasted tomatoes. The taste was on the heavier side because of the mix of sauce and meat. The Boozy Bird was a very simple sandwich, as it was a fried chicken biscuit with bourbon maple syrup. The syrup had a hint of bourbon flavor and was very good. We got a side of fried tomatoes, which was one way to get in our greens that day! The bonuts had an interesting texture, as it was a bit crispy on the inside like their biscuit, and I actually preferred dipping it in the bourbon maple syrup over their blueberry sauce The wait staff was friendly and let us know about the small businesses having an event that day!

My friends and I came here for a promotion with our half-marathon and the biscuits live up to their name! The place is open seating with wooden benches, bright lights in a diner-like setting. I make my own chai from scratch and this was a well rounded chai. I ordered the boozy bird specifically for the bourbon maple syrup and it was downright divine. The biscuits were perfect to dip into them (I know, I know it's a sandwich!) The chicken was flavorful and crispy enough for me to enjoy the entire dish Funny enough my favorite part besides the syrup was the loaded breakfast tots. The texture on the outside and inside was just right - not too heavy on the bread and crispy on the outside. The maple mayo sauce was on the gentler side, I wish it had more "oomf" intl the mouth. Overall, the staff were exceptionally friendly and the food was another reminder of what makes Kentucky food truly kentucky-esque!

You will wait in line but worth it. 4 of us on vacation. Everything on the menu looked fantastic. Specialty coffees as well as regular brew. Order at counter then staff will seat you when a table opens. It works!!

We arrived early in Louisville and decided to make this our first stop. Great choice! The biscuits were heavenly, the coffee strong and atmosphere fun. I ordered the gravy flight and it was delightful! Mini biscuits to dip in three kinds of gravy. Yum!!! If I lived in Louisville, this would be my go-to breakfast spot!

Just yum. That's it. That is the review. Just kidding - but seriously, this was such a good breakfast find! My group tried a little bit of everything - from the biscuits to some of their other menu offerings. We loved the little donut holes (?) which we got for free by signing up for their rewards program! I tried the fried green tomatoes and the corndogs - both were delicious. The sauce for the corndogs was a bit strange - I think I would have preferred straight maple syrup. Coffee was delicious - and I loved their soda selection. Overall, a fun vibes - very very busy on the weekends, but the line moved quickly, and tables seemed to turn over easily.

My husband and I had breakfast here on a Sunday morning. The inside is clean and nice and bright. I would have taken photos but there were so many people there. By the time we left, every table was being used and there was a long line to place orders. When you arrive, you place and pay for your order at what looks like a hostess stand type of thing. Then you're able to go find a table. We both ordered the One and Done. It's one biscuit with gravy and my husband ordered an egg on his - over medium. We also each ordered a latte. We got our lattes first and they were good and nice and hot. Shortly after, our food was delivered. On the positive side, the gravy was pretty good! I find a lot of gravy in restaurants to be bland, but this had a decent flavor! Now for the negative - the gravy was lukewarm and should have been much hotter. The bottom part of the biscuit was overcooked and hard. My husband's egg was over hard instead of medium. Maybe we hit it at a bad time. The number of people there made it seem like it's a pretty popular spot!

You will wait in a line if you come to this place on the weekend. While the cashier wasn't super friendly, our waitress was awesome! Food was very good and the menu had quite a bit to choose from.

Loved it, great prices, great variety and the service is fast and exceptional. Definitely a great spot for something quick or to chill and dine in for your breakfast.

Decided to order a carry out from here and was excited to try out the chick 'n ditch the waffle. My presentation was nice but honestly not what I expected taste wise and I get it, carry out isn't always the best way to experience food! But my chicken was a bit soggy and the biscuit was overcooked, the bottom was a bit burnt which made it tough to enjoy. I gave 4 stars because I enjoyed the "idea" of it but maybe next time I'll dine in and hopefully get a better experience. Either way, it's a cool concept to a breakfast sandwich and I'm happy I tried it.

We usually don't eat the same thing more than once during a trip but made an exception for this place. We came once to dine in and then ordered it delivery the next day before our bourbon excursions. Both times the quality were great. Their biscuits are just perfectly buttery and soft and flakey at the same time. The sandwiches are very filling and great portion size. Also loved their corn dogs!

Biscuit Belly is always a safe choice for breakfast. The bonuts were sweet, but not too sweet. The biscuit was soft and tasty, as were the pancakes. They provided a quality breakfast at a reasonable price. The service was quick and the staff were pleasant. While not the best breakfast in the city, Biscuit Belly is reliable, and makes for a solid spot for anyone unfamiliar with the Louisville breakfast scene.

Biscuit & Belly in downtown is definitely worth the hype! I had the biscuit with fried buttermilk chicken, cheddar, and gravy. I'm usually not big on gravy, but hey--when in Kentucky, right? And I have to say, it was absolutely delicious. It's a popular spot, so expect a bit of a wait to order, but once you grab a seat, it's all worth it. I actually drove by on a scooter, saw the line was long, grabbed a coffee, and came back just in time as it cleared out--perfect timing! Great food, good vibes, highly recommend!

Ordered the 'Gravy train' with the mini biscuits that had samples of each gravy; including sausage, mushroom, & smoked gouda mornay. Mini biscuits were ehh and kinda hard, but the gravies were VERY good and each had a unique flavor. Honestly, any dish that has any of those 3 gravies on it is definitely worth it, and I would try one of the fried chicken sandwiches next time. Staff were all very friendly and the place was clean. Also they have Tractor fountain drinks, which sounds random that I'm even calling it out, but they were mad good and are a more organic soda. I can pretend to be healthy, while I stuff my face with biscuits!

If you love a heavy breakfast to start your morning, this is the place to go! The employees are always smiling and helpful and the food is as described. Order at the counter and then find your seat with your number and your meal is quickly brought to you. We have never been disappointed with our experience visiting a Biscuit Belly and today was no exception. Come early and get "happy hour" on your morning coffee. Who can say no to that?

Cute breakfast spot with a few tables outdoors but plenty of indoor dining. You order at counter and then food is brought to your table. We arrived during "Happy Hour" but unfortunately it was not explained to us ( or we would have ordered more). The girl at the register was training. I got the avocado toastie which unfortunately was very skimpy in avocado and rather bland and tasteless. I asked for medium hard cooked eggs but got sunny side up. My hubs got the basic biscuit which was very good but definitely too big to eat like a sandwich. The Bonuts stole the show with their yummy cream sauce and fruit sauce. Our friends were told of the " happy hour" specials and got some great drinks, loaded tots, mini biscuits and more that all looked delicious. If only I had known.

Such a cute spot! Bright with cafeteria style seating. You order first at the counter, find a seat and they bring it out to you. The staff was super friendly and helpful as I checked out the menu. I settled on the Rockwell and I noticed if you signed up for the app you get an order of their bonuts for free! With the Rockwell and an orange juice my meal came to less than $15. Such a steal! The Rockwell which is a biscuit split with fried chicken, cheddar cheese and gravy poured on top, was flavorful and filling. The bonuts were a great sweet treat and I loved that jam. I wish we had more of these types of places on the East but until then, I'll just have to come back to Louisville.

Biscuit Belly is the place to go for a hearty breakfast - and they even serve breakfast cocktails! This is a order, sit and eat spot, so if you are short on time it's still a good option. If you sign up for their SMS texts you get a free order of their Bonuts ($7.70) - Biscuit donut holes, cinnamon sugar with bourbon cream cheese frosting. I tried their Espresso Martini ($9.50) and it was a bit weak alcohol wise, but still good. The Mama's Boy ($11.90) - Buttermilk fried chicken breast, roasted jalapeño pimento cheese, spicy belly pickles, fried green tomato and the The Go Getta ($10.90) - Sausage gravy over two large scratch-made biscuits were both so good - the biscuits were pretty dense and I couldn't finish it all, but the gravy was so so good. Would definitely come back here, I can imagine it's a great spot to go with a hangover (or not!)

I'm a big, big breakfast fan and to me it's one thing I look forward to on a daily basis. I'm always looking for a new breakfast type of restaurant and Biscuit Belly in the Nuuk area of Louisville hits that spot pretty dang well. They have a very decently sized menu that can feel a bit overwhelming at first and especially based on how hungry you are. Biscuit Belly's main attraction are their various biscuit sandwiches which are loaded with various degrees of toppings. There are also a selection of lunch options to choose from such as their Mean Green BLT or the Brisky Business sandwich. On this particular visit, I decided to try their famous Rockwell Supreme which has fried buttermilk chicken breast, cheddar, goeta, an over easy egg, sausage gravy and bacon. I also ordered their loaded breakfast tots which are stuffed with bacon and cheddar and served with their sweet maple mayo sauce. I also decided to try their special iced chocolate covered strawberry mocha coffee (which you can also order hot). Presentation is definitely something that Biscuit Belly's excels in as the Rockwell Supreme came on a heart shaped biscuit (it's February so it's just after Valentines Day) and which a knife in the middle of the heart which I thought was an awesome touch. This sandwich is quite tasty and is one that I recommend using a fork and knife to eat. The eggs were absolutely just right and the biscuit was as fluffy as ever. The chicken wasn't dry at all and seemed to be cooked perfectly. The loaded breakfast tots of which you'll receive four were the perfect size and the sweet maple mayo sauce pairs quite nicely with them. The iced chocolate covered strawberry mocha did need a bit of stirring as it was still warm at the bottom but even so tasted great and wasn't too overly sweet. The service here is one in which you'll get a number and you'll sit at a table and wait for your food. They have very adequate service as my wife and I didn't have to wait very long at all for our food. As far as the environment of Biscuit Belly's goes it's very welcoming and one that is very relaxed and not at all loud or overpowering with the music with plenty of places to sit. Overall I highly recommend checking out Biscuit Belly, even if biscuits are not necessarily your cup of tea when it comes to breakfast they do have quite a few other options for your to enjoy and I believe your mouth will thank you for doing so.

Visit! Biscuit Belly by far was a great choice. The concept and ambiance was extremely laid back. Walk up to the counter and order and then you get seated. Would definitely go back.

I wanted to love this place but I couldn't get there. This place is not setup for first timers at all: You wait in a line to reach the cashier to place your order, this is not a sit down and receive table service from a server kinda place. We couldn't fully decide what we wanted so we ordered the starter gravy train that includes mini biscuits. The biscuits taste like frozen pillsbury and not made in house. The sausage gravy was pretty good, I didn't care for the others. Then we had to get back in line and order more food. I had the Rockwell sandwich and it was alright, but nothing that made my mouth water to crave to come back.

We tried this place recently for breakfast and had a good time. There is plenty of seating once you order at the counter. We timed it right, so fortunately there wasn't a long wait to order. When we left, the line was out the door. I tried the Boozy Bird, a buttermilk fried chicken breast on a biscuit with bourbon maple syrup, and I ordered it with a shot of bourbon. The chicken was flavorful and the biscuit was excellent. My wife tried the Go Getta, biscuits and gravy. She ordered two biscuits to share with my daughter, but one would have been just fine. We would definitely come back if we are in the area.

The food was delicious! We had the Mama's boy and the Benedict with friend green tomatoes and tots. We ordered online, and the food came out quickly. There was a line out the door when we came on a Saturday morning.

The biscuits here are extraordinarily. They are big enough to split but so good you do t want to. The service is fast and efficient and in a good area of town with nearby shopping. Would definitely recommend to out of towners.

My husband and I were traveling thru the area. We had tried a place similar idea to this in Seattle last summer. So we had to see how this restaurant compared. This place didn't dissappear. We had a great breakfast and the biscuits were so good and moist and fluffy.

Erin is an amazing talent and so hospitable. Use the online ordering especially when the line is 32 people deep. Food portions are large and amazing flavor. Sauces and dips are a true plus to the palette

This is a must visit breakfast/brunch spot in Louisville, KY. The food is delish, and if we had more time here, we would certainly visit again. The service was superb and friendly. You place your order and given a number for your table, then go find your own seat as your food is brought out to you. The ambiance is bright and vibrant. Very comfortable and nice. The parking is free and is validated inside the restaurant. Such a great place with filling comfort food. They offer to go containers you pack yourself, which I liked.

Our sizable group stopped here on a Sunday afternoon as part of our history and food tour of NuLu and were impressed with the gravy sampler. We had a goetta gravy (substantial stick to your ribs), a mushroom gravy (umami on steroids), and a Hot Brown inspired gravy (béchamel sauce genre). Each was beyond compare. I literally cannot pick a favorite. Then there's the biscuits. These were fluffy and tender and layers upon layers of soft pillowy goodness and a match made in heaven as a phenomenal vehicle for the gravy train. Plan to return here in the next few weeks (and again and again and again) with friends and family to introduce them all to this heaven on earth experience. Service was friendly and helpful. The venue can be a bit noisy when busy, but we did not care to hold a conversation since we were so enamored with tasting biscuits and gravy. Mmmm mmmmm, good!

Great local spot for some tasty and quick breakfast or brunch. I was in the area after a meeting and decided to grab some breakfast. It wasn't too busy, but a nice flow of people. I was able to order easily and my food came out very quickly too. I had the Brekkie Bowl and it was delicious. Filled with grits, mushrooms, spinach, roasted tomatoes and onions, and goat cheese-- added an egg and sausage too. It was packed with flavor and very satiating. That and a cup of coffee, I was ready to take on the day. They kept the place super clean and it felt like a very comfortable environment. I'll def be back again soon!

All food 10/10 literally. Get the go-getter gravy. The belly buster is indeed a belly buster. Fried chicken is seasoned perfectly and crisp. Biscuits soft and filling. Try the jam so delicious. We went back the next day and tried all new items and EVERYTHING was tasty. Definitely recommend the loaded tots!! The lavender mimosa was perfect (mostly champagne with a splash of juice just how we like it!) In the restaurant you order first then get seated. Clean and colorful area. Staff is very accommodating, welcoming and attentive. Full of smiles. When we come back to Louisville we will certainly return again!! Thank you

Delicious chicken biscuit with gravy. Long line to get in to order. Moved very quickly. Order at the counter, they bring the food to you. Bonus that they seat you instead of a free -for-all to snag an open table. Time from seat to service less than 5 minutes. Battered and fried chicken breast perfect - juicy in the middle, nice and crispy and not greasy. Slice of cheddar. Slathered with sausage gravy. Gravy creamy with the right mix of sausage and pepper. Biscuit fluffy and fresh, not crumbly. Biscuit-made Bonuts fried slightly crunchy and dredged in cinnamon & sugar, served with a cup of cinnamon butter. Yes!!!

The food was great, service was friendly and quick, and the interior was bright and clean. We loved this place. We had the fried chicken biscuits with gravy. They were outstanding. I regret not getting a fancy latte. They looked amazing; however, the drip coffee was great. Great stop in Louisville that can start you off right to browse shops in Nulu.

We stopped in with the family on the last day of our visit. I wish I would have found this place sooner! Everything was top notch! I had the Belly Board, hubby had the Smokeshow, other items on the table included the Frenchie, the T-Bird and Belly Buster. EVERYTHING was delicious! I got a side of of the tomato chipotle sauce for my potatoes and ended up dipping everything in it. And that house made jam....omg tasted like fresh sweetened fruit. It was so good I tried to buy some to go but sadly they did not sell jars of it. I will definitely be hitting this spot up again on my next visit to Louisville!

Biscuit Belly had the Best Mushroom Gravy, Best Biscuit Gravy, and Amazing Cheese Gravy that I have had ever had in my life. If you are looking for buttery delicious biscuits with gravy that melts in you"re mouth, look no further. Get in my belly please any time of the day.

So, there's this place called Biscuit Belly that has this breakfast sandwich called the "Colossal Belly Buster". It's like a huge stack of biscuits, sausage, eggs, cheese, and gravy. It's massive and super filling. If you're feeling adventurous, try the Spicy Chicken Sandwich. It's got a bit of a kick, but it's not too spicy. The chicken is juicy and the pickles and mayo add a nice touch If you're a fan of traditional breakfasts, you gotta try the Belly Board at Biscuit Belly. It's got eggs cooked just how you like 'em, crispy bacon, and biscuits that are light and fluffy But if you're feeling adventurous, go for the Inside Out Omelet. It's like a regular omelet, but all the fillings are wrapped inside the eggs. It's so good, with all the flavors of fresh peppers, onions, mushrooms, and cheese And of course, no breakfast is complete without a morning cocktail. The Tequila Sunrise is a refreshing mix of orange juice, tequila, and grenadine. It's perfect for a morning pick-me-up. Or if you prefer something a little stronger, try the Old Fashioned. It's expertly mixed and super smooth So whether you're a local or just passing through, make sure to stop at Biscuit Belly for a breakfast that will make your day!

Great food. We found Biscuit Belly while driving through Louisville, and we're so glad we stopped here. The breakfast was delicious and we're still talking about it months later.

Everyone raves about this place. I remember the hype when it first opened up. I first got to sample what they could do at The Gravy Cup, an amazing biscuits and gravy competition. I was so excited to try the real deal. I came with some breakfast loving friends. I got the biscuit bennie, seeing it came with brisket. I think I'll pick something else the next time. I have been fortunate to have probably the best brisket in the world in Texas, and this didn't quite measure up. All other elements of the Benedict were great, especially the biscuits. My friends are vegetarian and they were very glad to have options for them. The atmosphere is fun and light, and the staff is very sweet and helpful. I'll definitely be back!
