Where to Eat in Asheville

"Biscuit Head is a fun, casual spin on a Southern classic: biscuits. The jam bar is the diner’s speciality, and there’s a wide range of options to top those warm, flakey biscuit layers. Vegans and vegetarians will appreciate tailored options like soy chorizo for heartier, filling dishes. Join the line that will likely stretch on longer than you’d like. Just know the wait is worth it." - MATADOR_NETWORK

Loved the gluten-free biscuits and prep. My bacon was overcooked and my daughter's food was taken to the wrong table so she had a longer wait. The apple pie and strawberry jellies were delicious! The caramel butter was divine.

Great place for breakfast! Very busy so it is popular. Came here as my wife has celiac. The gluten free biscuit was flavorful and not the worst we have had but definitely ranked higher. Gravy was great as well as the loaded home fries. Really nice place for breakfast overall.

Oh man... what happened?? We have been coming to Biscuithead since we moved here in 2016. Service has always been solid and it's been a consistently fun spot for fun food. Until today... We came around noon. First, the place was filthy. The floor was sticky in several spots and there was loose garbage and visible food leftovers scattered about beneath several tables. Our table had hardened, dried food remnants on it - like it hadn't been properly cleaned in ages. The jam station was objectively disgusting. The signs were flipped over and filthy with jam, the spoons for the jam were covered in jam, several of the containers were empty, and there was jam EVERYWHERE. The bussing station hadn't been wiped down and was covered in food remnants. Our meals were 2/5. Two of us had the pulled pork. One poached egg was essentially uncooked and the other was rock hard. My son had the sausage and it was black, rigid, and dry - so overcooked to be literally unrecognizable as edible. Sadly, they had also pulled their only salad entree (my wife's favorite). I understand few folks come for the salads, but it was a bummer to see it, and the fruit plate, gone. Service was solid, as usual, but I did not see one person cleaning despite the messes. We haven't been in a little more than a year, so not sure if this happened over time, or if it was just today. We've always enjoyed Biscuithead, but there is no way we're returning if this is the new standard.

Cool atmosphere. The food is all homemade. The redeye gravy is top notch. Some of the best I ever had. Very very good food. Self serve coffee is a plus. The jams and spreads are really good as well. The portions of food is more than enough to fill you up. I highly recommend this restaurant for breakfast. Family and children place.

If you’re in Greenville and craving a brunch that checks every box, Biscuit Head is a must! The Bloody Mary is spot on—bold, perfectly spiced, and just the kickstart you want for a weekend morning. The Filthy Animal biscuit is out of this world—savory, loaded with flavor, and hearty enough to keep you full well into the afternoon. And let’s not forget their fresh jams—sweet, tangy, and the perfect complement to those fluffy biscuits. Cozy vibes, friendly staff, and incredible food make this place one of my brunch go-to’s in the Upstate!

We were in town for a visit decided to check this place out cause what else do you do when in the south besides eat biscuits and gravy. They were by far some of the best biscuits we ever had. The fresh orange juice was amazing. Service was friendly. Only downside it’s like a turn and burn type place but when you have a line out the door and people waiting you do end up missing some of that charm. Overall would recommend and come back.

Google
We stopped by here for brunch on a weekend when we were in town for a wedding. We got a little bit of everything and loved it! I wouldn’t get the special again, the sweet potato curry gravy was absolutely amazing! And the Maple Bacon Latte was perfection. Quick service, very helpful staff and a great spot to stop by and grab a bit for anyone

When we came here, we made it very clear that one of our party had celiac disease and could not eat gluten contaminated food, and the cashier assured us, that she couldn’t eat gluten either and had never gotten sick once eating there. The person n our party who ate their “gluten free” biscuit with pulled pork (which we were assured was also gluten free), immediately began to get a headache and feel nauseous after eating, and within an hour she began to feel a lot of pain and started to vomit profusely. I was also confused/annoyed because I asked if they were still doing a drink I had heard about from a friend (a holiday promo) and she told me no, but then I saw on the board that it was proudly listed as a “barista’s choice” option to order. If you don’t have the ingredients or something, please simply erase it from the chalk sign…. It honestly seemed more like she just didn’t feel like making it. Two of us got fountain drinks and when we went to get them, none of the fountains worked, so we had to go find an employee. She had to turn the machine on manually with a key, and then turn it back off when we were done, because one jet just shoots constantly when it’s turned on. I get that things happen and repairs don’t always come right away, but it was odd to me that there was no sign on the machine to indicate the issue, and the woman also seemed incredibly irritated both when we asked her to turn it on to initially get our drinks, and when one of us came back for a refill. In summation, the food is decent if you’re not celiac, but this is not a celiac friendly restaurant. My issue is that this was literally the second option that came up when I searched for gf breakfast places in Greenville, and they market themselves as having many gf options, but I’d confidently say that’s only for people who are going gluten free by choice, and not because they have an allergy or intolerance. Very disappointed by the service and the false assurance that it was okay for us to eat despite celiac concerns. I explicitly came up to the worker before we ordered and told/asked her about this concern, which is when she said she too had the same issue and had never gotten sick. Not trying to be a Karen, just trying to warn anyone else who has celiac to avoid the food here, and yeah, we were definitely disappointed with how the workers treated us in general. If you hate your job that badly, consider a different one.

Yelp
We really enjoyed our breakfast at Biscuit Head. Honestly one of our favorite meals from our trip to Greenville. I ordered the Classic Sandwich Biscuit which included egg, cheddar cheese and a side. I had my side of bacon added to the biscuit. My husband ordered the Mimosa Chicken Biscuit which had fried chicken, sriracha slaw, sweet potato butter, and a poached egg on top. Highly recommend this breakfast spot!

Just call me a biscuit head because I'm in love with this groovy place!!! Addi at the register was so friendly and started out morning out by picking out our coffee mugs for us !!! Food was so amazing that I purchased their cookbook ! Super cool jam bar - all fresh made and love being able to choose my coffee and make the way I love it !!! This may make us come back to Greenville even MORE !!! Great job to the owners !!

Yelp
I love the aesthetic of this cute place. Its right off the street connected to a building of apartments but there is free parking in the garage on the 1st floor. When you walk in, you can view the menu before you walk down to place your order. Plenty of seating. They also offer a sauce station for your biscuits. I was impressed by the choices, especially the vegan butter option. I ordered the vegan gluten free biscuit with vegan gravy and fried green tomatoes. The tomatoes could have used a little more seasoning but I can appreciate when restaurants dont season food as well. They had two types of sauces on the table that helped me enjoy the tomatoes more. The biscuit was just okay. I could literally taste the flour in my mouth which is very chalky. Maybe ppl that have weird obsessions eating plain flour out of the bag but not my tastebuds. I ordered another vegan biscuit to go and I will try it tomorrow morning to see if I get the same results. Food and drink came out pretty fast even my to-go order. Once you are done, you take your dishes and trash toward the bins near the door to place and dispose of. 3.8/5

Yelp
A strong option for a casual weekend breakfast/brunch. The country ham biscuit is all that it should be...the country ham is top notch and the fried green tomato is a great touch. The biscuits are predictably strong. I loved the jam bar..didn't remember it from the Asheville one I went to shortly after it opened. Try the sour cherry jam. I thought the red eye gravy was pretty meh...still enjoyed my biscuit. I'm a big fan of red eye...its an area to work on.

Yelp
Absolutely loved the vibe and decor of the restaurant. The location of the restaurant was nice. The staff were friendly and helpful. I enjoyed the jam/jelly bar strawberry was so fresh, and the they really served cat head biscuits which were a little dry but gravy and jam make up for that! Their breakfast was ok. Coffee was fresh and delicious. We enjoyed our visit and would go back if in the area.

Yelp
Great breakfast in a fun environment. You walk up to place your order and it is then brought to your table. You're greeted warmly and your server is super friendly. Biscuits are as big as your head! They are so tasty, with a crisp exterior and a cake-like interior. Eggs are made to order and there are several gravies to complement your biscuits. Lots of coffee options and a butter and jam bar fill out the offerings. Breakfasts are hearty, so come hungry.

Yelp
Biscuit at BH is fabulous. Soft on the outside and tasty too. The coffee was superb, the jelly was delicious. I bought 6 biscuits which gave me a free strawberry jam. Delicious! The company also gave us all samples of all the other jellies. Highly recommend BH
google avatar

Yelp
Good size and quality of the biscuit, wonderful atmosphere and staff, but there were some things still to be desired with the "toppings." The sausage gravy is more of a gravy with mediocre crumbled sausage; the fried green tomato biscuit was very busy, salty, and didn't have the typical freshness of a traditional hollandaise. I wish we had tried out their jam bar with a plain biscuit as I feel this might be where the food might shine! I'll be back to try again.
google avatar

Yelp
Delicious food. Lovely ambiance. Wonderful service. I don't have any complaints about this place, other than the size of the freshly squeezed orange juice that I ordered. Other than that, I would highly recommend this place for a nice comfort breakfast meal!
google avatar

Yelp
The person taking our order was very pleasant and patient as we figured out what we wanted. The filthy animal was pretty fantastic. Crispy chicken, right amount of gravy, and the pimento cheese was in point. The green villian had the right amount of kick to it. The country fried pork steak was well seasoned. The fried green tomato biscuit was equally good for a non meat option. The cat head biscuits were the perfect texture. I took a star off for the jam and butter bar. It's great in concept but it was crammed into a corner which made it hard to get to. It also needed to be tidied up. Everything was sticky.

Yelp
It's just okay! Biscuits are big but everything is flavorless. Nice staff though. Plenty of seating too!

Yelp
Yummy food and coffee. I had the special latte of the day, the Tiramisu Latte, this I feel would be a great menu item! The hubby custom ordered his breakfast while I went with the "PULLED PORK BISCUIT: Biscuit with pulled pork, jalapeño pimento, bacon, poached egg, and maple syrup" Everything very delicious! The service and ambience are great! We'll be back for sure!

Yelp
We visit family here and I love trying new places. Biscuit Head has been on my list for a while. It didn't disappoint. I love the paintings on the walls and colorful decor. There are many references to cats because of the "cathead biscuits". You order at counter and get a cute cat picture with your order number. They deliver your food to your table. My Almond Joy Latte/ coffee was one of the best flavored coffees I've had. Our food was hot and fresh and delicious. My husband got the Fried Green Tomato Benedict and he said it was perfect, and he cleaned his plate. I ordered a biscuit with sausage gravy on the side and an order of grits. The grits were so creamy and buttery I didn't add anything ( many places they have no flavor and you have to add stuff in). The sausage gravy was just a little spicy which was perfect with the fluffy biscuit. I had to try the jam bar and it was hard to choose a favorite flavor, but I'd have to say the berry and the apple pie were tops. The lady who took our order was perfect Southern hospitality personified. Friendly, helpful and came to the table to ask how everything was. I went back to the counter and ordered more biscuits to bring back to my family for breakfast the next day.

Yelp
This used to be one of my favorite brunch places in GVL, but it's lost its luster. The biscuits are good and also large, but the quality has declined in the past few years. Maybe I'm just used to getting biscuits from the center of the pan instead of the edge. They're not dry, but they're a bit of a hassle to cut open to apply spreads if you don't want them falling apart. The jams and butters are still great, but keeping them next to the drink machine with only enough space for one person at a time is not the best plan. Egg-wise, I'm disappointed. Not only did a runny scramble and hard scramble come out the same way, but the eggs came out lukewarm and needing a whole heap of salt (or, equivalently, the country ham). Two other, minor, issues: it's not terribly clear where to bus your dishes if you're upstairs, and the whole place is a bit of a mess what with dropped biscuit crumbs and jelly.

Yelp
Such a delicious, fun place! Great vegetarian & vegan options plus a whole jam bar! I highly suggest you try this place if you can. It is so flavorful & hits the spot! I would go back for sure when I visit again!

Yelp
First time here and I was not disappointed. A friend recommended it so I decided to give it a try. Got the full breakfast with a lavender honey coffee and oh my gosh it was SOOOO GOOODDD!!! I put the berry jam on my biscuit and it was heavenly. I loved the environment and that there was a jam station where you could go pick whatever jam you wanted. The prices and portions were excellent! Would definitely come back and highly recommend

Yelp
This place is amazing! Stopped in to meet up with a coworker for brunch. I got the full breakfast with bacon, ham, and cheesy eggs. Everything was fantastic and they have a jam/butter bar where they have many different flavors of butter and jams that you can take back to your table. The biscuits are amazing, fluffy and moist. We also got the biscuit donuts which were so good, I only wish we had more lemon curd on the side.

Yelp
TL;DR the way to go at Biscuit Head is get a biscuit and load up on their jams / spreads. If you want something more filling, add a protein on the side. I came here for lunch on a Tuesday around 1pm and it was fairly empty, so ordering and getting a table was no problem at all. I ordered the Filthy Animal, which was a biscuit sandwich with fried chicken, pimento cheese, bacon, scrambled eggs, covered in gravy. It was all good - the chicken was crispy on the outside but tender on the inside, the bacon was cooked well, and the flavors all went together well. It was very heavy, as you could expect. However, what I didn't like was that I missed out on the jam and spread selection because I was too full by the end of my sandwich. My wife got a biscuit with fried chicken on the side, which was basically a lite version of what I got. However, I think if I were to go back to Biscuit Head, I'd probably go this route. The reason is all of their spreads and jams were useless on my sandwich. But with her biscuit, it gave her endless options to try all the different spreads and jams from the jam bar, which I feel like is what makes Biscuit Head special. In my opinion, the biscuits here aren't amazing - they're good, but they are only a medium / canvas for the jams and spreads. When we went, I especially enjoyed the peach rosemary jam, but there were a lot of other ones, such as apple pie, berry bomb, sweet potato chai, and maple bacon spread / butter that were also interesting and worth trying. So the next time I will probably get a biscuit with a protein as a side and just sample all of their different jams at the bar. The service was friendly and prompt, the space was very large and seating was no problem at all when I went. Parking was available on the ground floor of the building that the restaurant is located in. It's a bit tricky to find, but easy to access the restaurant once you find the parking lot.

Yelp
Super cute brunch spot. Friendly staff. Their churro latte was delicious. Biscuits are hugee, well worth the price. We had to chill for a bit to let the food go down because it was so filling ! Btw the salted caramel spread was amazinggg & so was their Mixed Berry jam ! Will definitely come back anytime we're in Greenville

Yelp
One of my favorite breakfasts of all time! I had the biscuit breakfast. Must get sides: Coconut Collards Smothered Hash browns Chicken biscuit yummy Service outstanding!

Yelp
Love, love that this spot has vegan options. As a person with a dairy allergy, it is rare to be able to get something like biscuits or breakfast sandwiches out. I still want to try the vegan breakfast sandwich, but when I went recently I just go two biscuits with butter and jam, and I really enjoyed them. I was even worried about cross-contamination with the vegan butter on the buffet, and they got me some from the back to be safe. I love the jam buffet! So many different jam options to try. There is a nice funky, homey feel to eating there. E.g. they have an assortment of random, thrift-store mugs for your coffee. Definitely recommend!
google avatar

Carenna V.

Yelp
The food was great, the biscuits were amazing! Everything was fast and fresh (we got in at a great time on a Sunday) Only thing id recommend is more upkeep & cleanliness on the Jam/butter bar that was self serve! Was super messy and just grossed us out but other than that the food was great.

Yelp
This has been on my list to try for a while but never worked out on my previous trips to Greenville for work. Ample free parking is available in the deck behind the building but the elevator could use some signage to let you know how to get the various shops and restaurants. Loved the overall cat theme. Ordering at the counter was simple with only a slight wait with one other couple in line when I arrived. I selected The Filthy Animal - Buttermilk biscuit, fried chicken, pimento cheese, bacon, scrambled eggs smothered in gravy. Overall I liked it but the bacon was tough and needed more than a butter knife to cut the chicken easily. The biscuit itself was super fluffy and truly a "cathead" size. I also wanted to try the biscuit donuts - Tossed in cinnamon sugar and served with lemon curd, most of which I carried home because of being so full from the "entree". I liked the donuts better than my biscuit selection. They were still really good despite not being warm later that evening when my family insisted on "sharing". I preferred the donuts with the Berry Bomb spread over the included lemon curd but that is probably more of a personal preference because the curd was quite good Not sure I would go out of my way to come back on a future trip, but if I do will likely choose a different biscuit option and more donuts..

Yelp
It's my first time in Greenville, and Biscuit Head came up as one of the best brunch spots in the area. I arrived at little before noon on a lovely Sunday morning. You order your food first, get a number and then seat yourself. There's outdoor seating, and two floors of indoor seating. I sat upstairs as there was no more open table downstairs and it was a little windy for outside. My latte & food came pretty quickly for how crowded it was. The portions are generous. The filthy animal is a loaded biscuit with fried chicken, bacon, pimento cheese, scrambled egg, and topped with gravy of some sort. The first bite was delicious, and every bite afterwards. Something was a little too salty for me, but it overall was so good I couldn't stope eating it. The service is good. The young lady that took my order was super pleasant, friendly and helpful when I asked about suggestions. Once you get your food you don't have a whole lot of interaction with the staff. I enjoyed every bite of my food and every sip of my seasonal latte with peppermint whipped cream!
google avatar

Raquel T.

Yelp
I've tried many biscuit-concept restaurants but this one slams them all. Quirky, fun, vibrant interior with cool decor in every direction your turn. So many diverse biscuit options, insane jam bar with crazy jam options, and self-serve coffee bar. Food came out quick and hot and was so filling! The Asheville Benedict was so good had the tastiest smoked tomato cream cheese and fresh kale salad combo. The southern scramble was amazing and both had the fluffiest, biggest biscuits that paired so well with our egg choices. Look forward to coming back and trying other biscuit options! Only con was it was a tad difficulty to navigate to using google maps.

Yelp
I am still thinking about the biscuits from Biscuit Head, which just shows how much I enjoyed this place Food: the menu is very comprehensive so you can get a biscuit any way that you like. I got the filthy animal, which is fried chicken, with eggs, bacon, and southern gravy! It was SO good! The biscuit itself was just so well made - fluffy and delicious that I could just have had that and been very happy! The chicken wasn't incredible, but tasted good with the biscuit and I liked the egg in here! My favorite part of this was sampling so many of the jams and butters! They have a whole jam and butter bar where you can find some really cool flavors! (And you can take as many as you want, and we tried almost all of them) My favorite was the pumpkin chai, which added the perfect sweetness to the biscuit! I also got the loaded home fries, which was wholly unnecessary given the portion sizes for this meal, but also so good! Service: great service! We got here before the rush (came around 10:30 am on a Sunday) but noticed that as we were leaving there was a line out the door, so they offered coffee to those waiting! The staff was really friendly and quick to get us out food Price: so cheap for the portion sizes and amazing taste! Each biscuits is max $15 which is so reasonable given that this will keep you full the whole day! Ambience: I loved the vibe of this restaurant! They had a very fun and quirky element to it that made all the eclectic decorations just work! The random cat decor, and bikes hanging just seem to fit! The seats also reminded me of the seats we used in middle school!

Yelp
What drew me was that they had vegan/gluten free biscuits and gravy: yes, please. I was so looking forward to warm, dough-y biscuits with savory white sauce gravy with veggie sausage interspersed. Unfortunately, that's not their version of vegan/gf biscuits and gravy. I'm not a fan of sweet tasting dishes for a main course at any meal. The vegan "gravy" here is "sweet potato coconut gravy". I was concerned that with both the sweet potato and the "coconut" that this dish would be sweet. I was correct in my assumption. It was more like a "curry" without Indian spices than a gravy. It wasn't my favorite and I left most of it behind. However, it inspired me to research vegan and gluten free biscuits and gravy recipes and I've found one to try out at home this week. The staff provided efficient service and was really nice and helpful and they also had plant milks for our coffee and matcha latte. I matcha latte was THE strongest matcha latte I've ever had. Fortunately, they had a pitcher of oat milk to use to your heart's delight so as I drank it down, I kept adding oat milk. It probably took about an extra 1/3 oat milk for it to be drinkable for me. The decor was a combination of kitschy and modern with cute table number markers and fun painted wall art to look at.

Yelp
Best breakfast place ever! We got there just after it started to get busy and just before the line got ridiculous. Food options are terrific, certainly something for everyone. Very funky interior, from table setting, to space at a bar. I enjoyed every bite of the "Filthy Animal" and we shared the bacon of the day which was Nashville Hot Chicken". My daughter opted for a basic of biscuits and pork sausage gravy with a side of fried chicken. We will be back next time we visit Greenville
google avatar

Mansi R.

Yelp
So glad we stopped in as we were passing through Greenville. This is one of our all time favorite brunch spots and the taste was exactly like their Asheville locations. I recommend the mimosa chicken and the gravy flight. Hubby also likes to get an extra biscuit to try all of the yummy butters and jams. The dining space is large and parking was easy in the deck.
google avatar

AnneMarie G.

Yelp
I really enjoyed my experience here. Everything on the menu is laid out well. The food came out really fast and there wasn't a long wait at 10am on a Sunday. Their coffee is delicious as well. The staff were very friendly as well.

Yelp
Love. Love. Love!! We came here on a Wednesday around 10:30 and easily got a seat. This is an "order at the counter" place but they have menus right when you walk in the door. I got the Filthy Animal Biscuit with friend chicken (thighs), pimento cheese, egg, and bacon. Let me tell you!! It was so much food that I couldn't even finish it. My fiancé got the gravy flight and an extra biscuit. They also have. Whole butter and jam bar where you can sample all of their spreads. (They sell them in jars for $7 each!) The people here are so sweet and we had great service. Super casual vibe here. You can wear whatever and bring whoever! Kid friendly and pet friendly if you sit outside.
google avatar

Yelp
Good food with nice service. Place was a little disheveled and I'm not the biggest fan of ordering at a counter and then sitting down to eat.
google avatar

Yelp
I FELT SO GOOD & FILTHY ANIMAL Buttermilk biscuit / fried chicken / pimento cheese/ bacon/ scrambled eggs/ smothered in gravy. WOW Expensive yes! Worth it ? YES I GOT DOWN & DIRTY . I was super full, the biscuit was huge. My wife got the bacon egg & cheese biscuit and she loved it. Even though these are BOTH AMAZING. We tbh next time we come we're just getting some biscuits and gonna use their jam bar they have with different sides! Honey butter was to DIE FOR! We waited maybe 6-8 min for our food, it was quick! TELL THEM ARI FROM YELP SENT YOU!

Yelp
Great staff great food OMG the biscuits and jam!!! A hidden gem on the second floor. Very cool café with delicious food music and great coffee! Well worth the maze to find it

Yelp
If you've ever wanted a southern breakfast, you should definitely come by here! The biscuits are enormous, light, fluffy and they melt in your mouth. The portions are large. The drinks are delicious; whether you want a mimosa, tea or coffee. The hospitality is top notch and the service is fast! There's street parking and a multi level parking deck behind the building. The locals and visitors frequent often so they're prepared for busy times. There's lots of energy so you'll definitely have a good time whether you're dining alone or with a group.
google avatar

Gabrielle Z.

Yelp
A great spot to stop for comforting breakfast when I'm in town! There's a cult following and I'm a very big fan, for good reason. You may wait in line outside for 45 minutes, but they have an outside coffee station to get you through the waiting game. It's worth it! What I love about them: their fluffy and huge biscuits (that also come gluten free, which I appreciate), their jam/jelly bar, and their freshly squeezed orange juice. While I've tried many sandwiches and dishes over the years, my classic order is getting some eggs and bacon with a biscuit on the side, so that I can get a handful of different jellies and just eat the biscuit with the jellies. Do what you want, but sometimes the biscuit is great without all the frills of gravy and fried chicken, etc. Awesome spot to take a small group to, as well, since there are some large table options.
google avatar

Alexis C.

Yelp
The food is almost all premade, the chicken was brown, the bacon was rubbery, the eggs were premade! Nasty and worth repeating. We would not recommend this place, especially for the price. And a worker was openly stretching in front of patrons and she was wearing a skirt. Super weird and made the experience worse.
google avatar

Yelp
While on a trip to Greenville for a wedding we wanted to try some true southern flavors. We had limited time with all the wedding events so we wanted to pick a great place for the day after brunch. A lot of people encouraged us to go here and I'm glad we did. The line is always busy which is a testament to the food. We waited in line to order sandwich's and coffee. The interior is cute and colorful. We really enjoyed the food and definitely want to come back on our next trip. I think we caught the staff on a rough morning. The woman at the counter did not greet us but rather glared and asked "are you going to order or what?"... once we began ordering she broke off into not one, not two but three different conversations with her coworkers paying no mind to us. Once we finally ordered- we waited at our table for awhile for our iced coffees. Finally we went us to ask and she had never entered them in. Everyone has a bad day, but maybe not the best person to be the first face a customer encounters. I was going to do three stars because of that encounter, however upped it to four because the young man who delivered our food and bussed our table could not have been nicer! He really saved the visit!

Yelp
Prepped T to let him know there would be a decent wait to get it. Success of the day was him saying it was worth the wait. The wait is long but it is well worth it. They have the best biscuits and fixin's and they have a jelly bar! There are so many delicious and unique jellies to try that are homemade. The staff were so kind and accommodating. They also have vegan and gluten free biscuits! Yelp
This is a delicious chain with breakfast and lunch specials that hit the spot! This is a crowd pleaser with an all American menu perfect for friends, family or couples. I've been to several locations in different cities (with a new one opening soon in my neighborhood!) The food is always fresh & delicious!

Yelp
Biscuit Head is a clever name for a restaurant. I ordered the Coconut Curry gravy with Sweet potato and Vegan biscuit, pimento cheese grits, Country ham biscuit, and the Mimosa Fried Chicken biscuit. The biscuit sandwiches were all unique. The coconut curry gravy with sweet potato biscuit, took center stage and added a nice Island flair to the southern biscuit. All of the sandwiches are worth trying with the fresh squeezed orange juice and pimento cheese grits (great suggestions for add ons). Every restaurant that sells grits does not cook good grits. These grits are great. The customer service was speedy but memorable. On a Saturday expect to see a lot of guests, so strive to arrive early. Treat yourself!

Yelp
The food was absolutely amazing and delicious. The servers were super friendly and helpful. The jam bar was amazing with over twelve different choices to choose from. The restaurant was clean and the bathroom was well maintained. I would definitely stop here again.

Yelp
Recently moved to Greenville in November and have been trying to find a new brunch spot. I ordered the Mimosa Fried Chicken while my husband ordered the Filthy Animal. We both were not too pleased as we cut into the fried chicken to find the inside to be dark grey.. unappetizing. Chicken was tough and the bacon was very chewy. The sweet potato butter on mine was the only reason I ate the biscuit. Gave it a 3/5 for the atmosphere and service. Maybe it's just not our taste which is okay. The guy bussing tables needs a raise! He was amazing with cleaning tables and making sure people had a place to sit.

Yelp
The service was incredibly fast! Even though it was busy, it still had a quaint atmosphere and was easy to talk to people at your table. The food was incredible and I'm so thankful the lady at the register suggested the maple bacon latte! Soooo good!!

Yelp
If your a biscuit lover than YES! It is a place that you wait in line to order than you have to find a seat, just a heads up. The breakfast Kitty Drink was Fantastic. I had the fried green tomato biscuit, not a fan of their hollandaise sauce but everything else was good. Very big and thick biscuits! HUGE! The BEST part was the homemade jams

Yelp
I wasn't so excited about this place. The menu is similar to Maple Street Biscuit Company and I like MSBC's flavors a little more. I hate saying that with a small business but I like to be honest in my reviews. I ordered the southern biscuit and a side of pulled pork, French toast, and s'mores latte. The southern eggs was boring and not very flavorful at all. The biscuit was soft and they have a bunch of very tasty jams to put on. The French toast was fried biscuit pieces. I really liked the crunchy outside with soft inside consistency. But it certainly didn't knock my socks off at all. The maple syrup was yummy. I found the meal to be relatively boring and calorie laden. I'm ok with packing on the calories for the sake of a great tasting meal. But when the meal is boring and has lots of calories it's a little disappointing. The best thing we had was the latte. Also ordered a regular coffee and even the dark roast is like a tea and not even a black tea. Meaning, the roast was ridiculously light. I find that disappointing. The place is in a cute location and the staff is very nice. In short, I left with more calories than I did pleasure.

Yelp
I've been coming to this establishment since I moved to GVL almost 8 years ago. Typically everything is very good, customer service is great, the people are wonderful. But yesterday I was very disappointed in my meal. Even my kiddo that was with me noted that it didn't look right. I ordered the Filthy Animal. My typical go to. The chicken that was included with it was the size of a McNugget. For 15 bucks Biscuit Head's kitchen is going have to do better to get me back in there. There are too many good restaurants now in Greenville for me to have to go across town for this. It's kind of sad.

Yelp
Pricey, but delicious! Big square biscuits, I had the vegan sausage biscuit and really enjoyed it. Interesting flavor of the day bacons too, like berry bacon so it's doused in fruit juices. Husband asked for something not on the menu and they made it special for him.
