Peaceful and refreshing park. There’s a small pond like area where we saw tortoises, a monitor Lizard and fishes. It’s really nice spot for slow walks, fresh air and enjoying nature in the middle of the city. Definitely worth a visit! 🌿🦎🐢

Google
well this is a park only the locals will know! most features in the park like the reservoir are man made but they help sustain the wildlife here like the families of otters and the occasional storks as well as tortoises.

This park is considered huge and it serves Ang Mo Kio and Bishan Residents. A very vibrant park with lots of variety of activities. Walkers, bicyclists as well as roller bladders love coming here due to its massive space catering to almost any activities or event. At times the park will host movie by the park too for the public. It also has a Dog playing area which is superbly ideal for animal lovers to walk their dogs in the park too. Food wise there’s McDonald and 1 more Bistro restaurants as well as a Spa too. Parking is FREE!

Located between two HDB Towns and private estates, this beautiful park not only serves as a children playground, jogging track, sports field, relaxation area, etc., and at the time, it is also a haven for wildlife... One of my favourite parks!

Google
An extremely spacious park with lots of fresh air and beautiful scenery to look at almost every turn. There's a bunch of cafés around the area if interested to sit and chill after a run or cycle. Roads and pavements there are reasonably wide for cyclists to ride on and occasionally you get to see a range of animals there (Otters, monitor lizards). It's a nice place to go to if you're thinking of a nice evening walk.

Google
The other part of the park who just right next to HDB area. Although some parts of the park is much nearer to human structures but it does not make it less natural but become something different who combines with nature and city.

Google
Nice park for leisure walk and activities like jogging and games. Have big fields and greeneries around. However, due to some on going constructions near the park. Overall is still great park to go.

Google
A great place to have walk, jog or cycle in the morning at this big park.

Yelp
Amazing park with ponds, large green fields, and most importantly (for dog owners) a small/large dog run! Great if you have a small dog and don't want your pup to be accidentally trampled. My chihuahua loves coming here and making new friends. There are restaurants and spas here but I haven't tried those. Sometimes you can see wild otters. One of the best parks in Singapore. Easily accessible by the PCN. Highly recommended!

Yelp
whoever the MP is, did a great job in transforming this into my oasis:) this is my favourite neighbourhood park in SG! lots of greenery, strategically shady. breezy throughout, circulating a breath of fresh air. some parks discriminates but this one doesn't. you can cycle, scoot, run, walk, go on all fours, practice tai chi or play pickle ball. you can be an adult, child or a man's best friend. no one cares but everyone shares. undoubtedly, the vast space helps. what i like most is the smooth continuous pcn paths, a heaven send for micro scooting. bridges, hills, rivers and lakes. yes, it may look like only a stream that runs through most of the time but come high tide or rainy days, you will see why they put in 3m height markers, warning loud hailers and life buoys along this streamy river. if you "paddle" upstream you will end up in lower pierce reservoir. "rafting" downstream will land you in marina bayfront, eventually. in land scarce SG, we take whatever free space that's dished our way and i'm making this mine! no bees here but wild boars have been sighted near the lower pierce end. please do not eat them! after your morning workouts, macdonald's is your best bet. in the afternoon, serene spa aramsa beckons. and in the evening hours, gourmet choices such as grub, canopy and cornerstone surfaces. parking is plentiful but my wish is to do away with cumbersome coupon tearing, as you never really know how long you might overstay, once you get carried away. i can see constant pruning, planting and upgrading still ongoing. so probably, the best is yet to be. P.S. keep up the good work, MP!

Yelp
A river runs through it. Sort of. Probably the prettiest neighborhood park in Singapore since I don't think the Botanic Gardens can be considered a neighborhood park. And most average Singaporean can't afford to live near Botanic Gardens anyway. Dog-run, Pilates studio, skateboard/rollerblading space, spa, plus a restaurant and even a Macdonald. There are also plenty of stylist benches to share with your loved ones. PS. plenty of mozzies after sunset. So bug spray please.

Yelp
Definitely a 5 stars park! Awesome park for jogging, cycling, roller blading, taichi, walking the dog, weekend brunch (and it's really good food!), weeknights dinner, family outing, otter spotting, fresh air, sand playing area, guppy catching in the pond, concert in the park, romantic dating....... What more can you ask for in a park? There you have it!

Yelp
5 stars for a park that started my running regime. Nothing beats nature(despite being strategically erected) and adrenaline. It's not overcrowded with runners till one feels suffocated. Great location, I highly recommend a night walk after a meal. It's a pace for everyone to enjoy the night breeze. There has been sightings of otters lately. Parks in Singapore has taken a more active outreach and have sizable events from concerts to physical enrichment classes. There's a MacDonald/Cornerstone restaurant in one part of the park. Do note that there are 2 parts of the park, the another houses Grub and a futuristic playground.

Yelp
We have just moved into a condo right next to the park having lived in Yishun for the previous four years. We had spent time with our dogs prior to moving here, and the park was already one of our favorite places in Singapore. Living so close, actually a stones throw from the park allows us to spend more time here and appreciate it even more. Aside from maybe the Botanic Gardens this is my favorite park in Singapore. Why? Firstly the design. Having reopened in the last two years after extensive renovation work, the Nparks people really deserve a lot of credit for designing this park. You never get tired of walking here. There is always something new to catch your attention, some new path or trail to follow. Great care has been taken to create different water spaces also. Secondly, the size of the park allows for space around you even when the park is busy. Occupying both sides of Marymount round and extending from the North South MRT all the way to Upper Thomson road it really is impressive given how expensive land prices are in Singapore. Throw in not one but two dog parks and a 24hr McDonalds and there you have it the perfect place to relax in Singapore. Maybe one other factor that makes this place so good are the various official and some not so official exercise classes held here. Every age is present, although mostly older folks. Watching them exercise is so entertaining and energizing. It gives you a smile that lasts for hours.

Yelp
I've had the pleasure to live in and travel to Singapore since the 80s and I've seen the nation and this park (and Bishan) evolve. Bishan park is the Central Park or Hyde Park of Singapore. It is a beautiful green space with much to do. From soccer and skateboarding to kite flying and foot massage. A short review here cannot do it justice. I will simply say this: for tourists to Singapore who spend most of their time on Orchard Rd, The Singapore River or marina bay - you are missing out. Go discover the heartland of Singapore in Bishan and Ang Mo Kio which straddle this gorgeous park. Enjoy the hometown hawker centers and other shopping and dining establishments. You'll get a chance to see how Singaporeans live and play. And hopefully make some new friends. You can reach the park via the Bishan MRT stop and one of several buses (one stop only). I recommend #13 or #54. Stop at the Bishan market either at street 13 or 24. Then take a stroll to the park and enjoy. Best to do the park in the morning before it gets too hot.
