I can't find anything to complain about. The rooms were clean, the service was superb, and the location was great. The view from the room was also amazing. We got umbrellas when it was raining and the front desk was able to give us tips on how to get where. If you have a lot of luggage, you may want to book a bigger room, as the rooms in Hong Kong are generally relatively small.

Plus: Great value for price Smiling and helpful staff Facilities: although the gym 💪🏽 is very small still - they have gym and poo 🏊🏼‍♀️. Free shuttle from and to Hk station The view Not so good: Location - it wasn’t problem for me but the hotel is located up hill so on hot day it is very exhausting to get there. Luckily they also offer free shuttle 🚐 from and to Hk station.

We had a very pleasant stay. We highly value the concierge staff, who were always attentive and willing to help us by ordering a taxi or letting us know the time of the next shuttle bus.|The cookies and lemon water at reception were also very good.|Breakfast could be improved. It used to be a buffet, but they've since replaced it with a small menu, and for us, who stayed for seven days, it was getting tiresome to always have a very limited breakfast selection. We missed some pastry and a fresh fruits aswell.

Great value. Room was small but modern and clean, with a stunning view of the city. The service was super friendly and accommodating. I had a package shipped for me to pick up at the hotel and they were very responsible with it as well. The pool was clean and also had a great view.

Went with young children (8 & 9) because they had a pool. Pool is deep. Too deep.for young kids. 1.75m all around. Bring tubes and floaties moms. The location seemed nice near LKF but not so.easy to get too. They say the walk to Central station is 10 min but don't mention the mountain you have to climb down to get there. Only way up or down on foot is using the mid-level escalators which was nice the first time. Rooms are very small. Japanese interior designer? 1 adult and 2 little.kids was cramped. Shower booth only fits 1 human being large or.small. You get what you pay for. Storm warning closes the pool so don't think you can still swim in the rain. If you're single and young, totally go for it. Lot of bars and eats in the nooks and crannies down the hill. If you have kids, go elsewhere.

We are so lucky to be staying at Bishop Lei International. The courtesy shuttle bus picked us up at Hong Kong station after the MTR from the airport. Hong Kong was to be a transit point for our flight back to Australia after days stay... and then Typhoon Ragasa hit! Our flight was cancelled and we were worried we would be caught without accommodation. The staff were very helpful extending our stay and the concierge gave us lots of advice on what would be coming and where we could buy food and drink to get us through the period when the city locked down. A crazy time that I have never experienced before in Hong Kong. Without Bishop Lei International and it's wonderful staff Ragasa would have been a much worse experience. Bishop Lei International will be my go to accommodation in Hong Kong from now on.

Excellent value for service. Simple rooms, but they are clean and comfortable. Nice high pressure showers. Breakfast (included if booked direct) is large portions, and good. I recommend this hotel to friends, and stay repeatedly myself. A nice recent addition is filtered water dispensers on each floor, to decrease bottled water usage.

I had a fantastic experience staying at Bishop Lei Hotel. From the moment I arrived, the staff was warm and welcoming. I was pleasantly surprised to receive a free room upgrade, and the room itself was spacious, clean, and had a breathtaking view of the city and harbor.Overall, a great value for money and a very enjoyable stay. I’d definitely come back!

Yelp
Solid hotel not too far from Lan Kwai Fong. Beds are a bit too firm for me, but it has all the necessities. I decided to take public transportation to the hotel from the airport. While it is possible, prepare to walk up uphill lol I read some reviews that there's a shuttle, but somehow, I didn't know it at the time.

Yelp
Bishop Lei is the hotel around my neighbourhood. Overall, it's not the most luxurious option for someone visiting Hong Kong, but it does give people a very unique experience in that it is one of the few hotels in the mid-levels, so in a sense tourists have a chance to see how upper middle class and expat residents go about their lives. It's convenient in that the hotel offers a complimentary shuttle to Central, Admiralty and Wan Chai, and because there's a bunch of other bus lines available to guests should they wish to travel to Causeway Bay (the shopping district), Central or Admiralty. It is also very easy to walk to Central (Hong Kong's business district) which is where the Star Ferry to Tsim Sha Tsui is. The Hong Kong Zoological and Botanical gardens are also next to this hotel. Room rates are generally quite reasonable and the facilities are adequate. Please note that they use conventional keys for their doors, not keycards. On the several occasions that my house was being renovated or there were visitors staying at the house, I wound up sleeping in their rooms. Their seaview rooms are awesome as you can get really pretty views of Central, but if you're traveling on a budget, the single and double rooms will do just fine. They're a little on the small side, but there's still some space to move around and relax. WiFi is available in this hotel, but it's not great. Don't get me wrong, you can still watch HD videos on it, but if you need to download anything, speeds will be roughly 100KB/s. The front desk will give you access codes when you check in. If you have more devices than codes, you can request additional access codes to sign your devices in to their WiFi network. As for other facilities, the beds generally use hard mattresses, and somewhat minimalistic beddings- again, adequate, not fancy, not 5-star. TV channels are somewhat basic, but you still do get access to international news channels like BBC news and CNN. When living here, I'd recommend the lower floors, because while they do have 3 elevators in service, they're all very slow, and somewhat lacking in capacity, meaning it sometimes takes a while for one to arrive at your floor. Some rooms will require that you stick the key into a switch to get power in your room, though I've been in a few that are still powered without the keys. Air conditioning is generally very good in most rooms as you get your own A/C unit as opposed to central air conditioning. If you want to open the windows, you will find that they have rather unfortunately been sealed shut. I guess that's their way of encouraging you to go out and explore the town. Again, facilities in this hotel are less than great, but if you focus on the location, room rates and this hotel's proximity to tourist attractions, this place offers a pretty decent deal.

Yelp
The pros: This hotel is reasonably priced, located near many eateries and they provide shuttle services to several train stations including the one that takes you to the airport. They have an outdoor pool which is great on hot days. There is free Wifi. Also, the front desk staff upgraded my room for free. The cons: The hotel's decor is not very modern (about 10-15 years old), the rooms are small, even the upgraded one, the mattresses is on the hard side and the carpets cleanliness is questionable. My major bone of contention with this hotel was the urine smell in the room and hallway on the 11th floor. You know that dreaded smell... of a bathroom in which you're afraid to walk in but you use because you have to go so badly! Yeah, that one. I complained about it and their resolution was spraying the carpet and turning my A/C on to the coldest temperature. Of course that did not solve the problem... Thank goodness today is my last day here!

Yelp
I stayed at this hotel for a week and loved it. You have to remember that it's not a modern hotel; however, the staff makes up for it. The staff was very helpful and checked on to me to see if I needed anything. I stayed in the harbor suite and I recommend doing so since the hotels in Hong Kong tend to be smaller according to American standard. The location is about a five minute walk to the mid level stairs. There is also a shuttle that takes you to the central MTR and airport express. Overall, I recommend this spot and will be back. Only downside was the pool was being renovated.

Yelp
This place has bed bugs, mice, mold and extremely unhelpful staff. Do yourself a favor and avoid this hotel at all costs.

Yelp
DON'T STAY HERE. I had a nasty experience with this hotel this morning (Nov 27). The driveway into the hotel entrance from the main road is very prone to accidents. I've seen a lot of of "near misses" recently, and today it happened to me unfortunately. As I was crossing the driveway towards the bus stop, a van turned in from the main road and was just inches from knocking me over. I was fortunate as I was able to run away quickly to avoid a fatal accident. The driver was looking at me straight in the eye but did not even bother to slow down. The van was delivering supplies to the hotel. I complained to the hotel and gave them my contact number. I expected to be given a follow up. A few hours later I was surprised to get a call from a car rental company. The caller said the hotel had given my number to them, asking them to speak with me. It transpired what had happened was that the van was a rented vehicle used by the food supplier who was delivering produce to the hotel. I was shocked the hotel had given my personal details to the supplier who in turned had given it to the car rental company. I told the hotel I did not authorise my details to be provided to so many individuals down the chain. It's obvious the hotel did not want to acknowledge any responsibility for the incident. I then complained to the manager there (Ivy Siu) but she didn't seem to be interested in acknowledging their mistake and pushed away all responsibility. I am taking the matter to the Police. In the meantime, I would advise visitors to avoid staying here for their own personal safety.

Yelp
Quaint hotel in Midlevels HK. Retro cool abounds. Lifts from the 70s or 80s.The pool was closed for winter. Exercise room was mainly aerobic machines. Rooms fitted around the bed and this is standard for HK. You have to key on your electricity. Easy 30 min walk from HK train station. This is where the airport train unloads on HK island. Follow the elevators till you get close to Robinson rd. Lots of bars, European eats and western knickknacks around. Not so easy to get a HK bowl of noodles but pasta, tortilla & pizza easy to come by.
