Lovely restaurant in the high street Excellent food and great service could not fault either meal that we chose from the very appealing menu I had the venison ,(photo doesn't do if justice) partner had the duck .. highly recommend booking

soo lovely! we had the salmon and goats cheese starters, monkfish and cod loin for mains, and the ‘alaska’, affogato, and blackcurrant sorbet for desert. all were DELICIOUS but especially the ‘alaska’, it was unreal!!

This restaurant is something else eaten a few times and food is always exceptional and service and atmosphere first class will be back

We’ve eaten here many times and are never disappointed. Today was a fairly impromptu Sunday lunch. The croquettes were delicious (I could have been happy just eating plate after plate of these!) and then we chose the duck with a honey, ginger and brandy sauce - the latter was so gorgeous my husband had an extra jug. We shared a chocolate dessert - sublime. All complemented by a Portuguese red. Thank you for a wonderful lunch on a grey Sunday.

Perfectly formed local bistro with delicious food. The restaurant is tiny with only about 14 places per sitting and our waitress was attentive and warm. We had salmon and beef wellington's and they were absolutely delicious. One of the highlights of a week stay in the area and highly recommended.

Was lucky to stumble upon this restaurant while we were visiting Barmouth for the day. Not a big restaurant but the interior was elegantly decorated with bossa nova playing in the background. I had duck pate for starters and it was up to standard. My partner had poached egg, Stilton and mushrooms which was incredible! We also had rack of lamb which was very tender. Definitely worth visiting again!
