The table setting and overall atmosphere were excellent and suggested a refined dining experience. Unfortunately, the service did not reflect the same level of care.
Despite arriving and ordering earlier, and choosing only main courses, we waited over one hour and 20 minutes while tables seated after us were fully served starter and mains (maybe chef friends)?. During this time, there was no proactive communication, no double check, and no service recovery gesture.
When we asked for an update, the response was simply “few minutes, the chef is busy,” without apology or acknowledgment of the delay.
The veal dish was technically good but did not reflect the description of a medallion no justify the extended wait. The rabbit was served on the bone, which was not clearly communicated in advance and would have benefited from clearer explanation and final quality checks.
Additionally, a concerning hygiene issue was observed when a member of staff coughed into their hand several times and continued service without washing or sanitizing their hands.
With a final bill of €108 for two main courses, one dessert chocolate mousse, three glasses of wine, and still water, the overall experience did not align with the pricing or the expectations set by the environment. A gratuity was nonetheless left, as courtesy and professionalism are values we always uphold.
There is clear potential, but greater consistency between atmosphere, service standards, and execution is needed to deliver a complete guest experience.
