This place was absolutely amazing! My friend has Celiac so we wanted to find a place she could eat at and we stumbled upon this place and it was perfect. It was so quaint and lovely and the food was to die for! It took a while for us to get our first arepas, and they were so good we all ordered more food and that came out super quick! They were super helpful and checked in on us and were extremely kind. This place is a must!!

Both my son and I enjoyed the arepas — they were homemade, fresh, and full of flavor. We also had the sweet corn dessert, which was moist and delicious. It’s a small place, but very cozy. The owner was very friendly and did her best to speak English with us. We even overheard her singing while preparing our food; she had a beautiful voice! Our conclusion: a happy chef makes happy food. Just make sure to bring cash for payment.

There's something so endearing about finding a place abroad that instantly reminds you of home. In Salzburg, I stumbled upon Bistró de Márquez, a Colombian restaurant that made me feel like | was back in Latin America. The owner from Cali and her brother who was also visiting Salzburg welcomed me with warmth, and over Spanish chats and food we connected about where we're from, me from Guatemala I'l, them from Colombia. It felt serendipitous, the kind of surprise you don't realize you need until it happens. And the food? The arepa was "tan rica" (so good), the hot chocolate warmed me up, and the pandebonos I grabbed for the road hit the spot as the perfect travel snack.

it was a nice and helpful spot since my family and I were on the way to a mozart concert. The food was yum and fresh and the service was super friendly. The only problem was the waiting time was a bit longer than we expected (around 1 hour) and they only take cash but overall lovely experience.😛

Stumbled on this place when visiting the castle and loved our experience! The owner/hostess was so sweet and accommodating. Our smoothies were delicious and our arepas were AMAZING. The fact that we forgot a picture first is a testament to how delicious they were! Great vegetarian options and entirely gluten free menu!

The owner was friendly, but sadly the service was extremely slow. We had to wait a long time for the food, and only after we had already finished eating did we finally receive the only drink we had ordered, just a simple water with sugar. It also seemed like she often forgot what we asked for, which delayed everything even more. The whole service felt very disorganized and slow. When it came time to pay, it was also disappointing: she only accepts cash, which is not written anywhere, and you don’t get any kind of receipt. Everything is handled through her computer, but nothing official is given to the customer. On top of that, we noticed that she charged us 3€ more than she should have. The food itself was extremely overpriced compared to what it was. For almost 19€, we got only a very small plate of rice with beans and a bit of meat. The portion was tiny and really not worth the money. Overall, the service was very slow, the drink came way too late, we were charged incorrectly, and the prices were extremely high for such small portions. Definitely not worth it.

Lovely Bistro, the woman who runs it is so lovely and takes time to form a connection with her customers, every dish is prepared carefully and with love. The coffee is unique and exceptional. A truly authentic Colombian experience. Thanks!
