Bistro Elba

We visited Bistro Elba for my partner’s birthday and, while it was acknowledged, nothing was done to make it feel special. My steak arrived cold, and overall the food lacked flavour. For the price, the portions and quality just didn’t match up. The service was very average and didn’t enhance the experience at all. Unfortunately, for the amount we spent, it really wasn’t worth it.

We recently had lovely dining experience. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, as was the service. Every dish was presented beautifully, classic and delicious flavour combinations, and a wine list to match. Would definitely visit again.

Every time we come to Bistro Elba, it is always an amazing experience. Every dish we enjoy is superb and leaves you wanting more (if you could actually fit it in!). The oysters are always fresh, the soufflé and tartare are excellent and the star of the show is always the chicken pot pie! Simply unforgettable each and every time! Thank you!

We come to Sorrento every couple of years for a holiday, and after discovering Bistro Elba, we’ve decided we don’t need to go anywhere else. The staff are absolutely amazing—warm, attentive, and genuinely passionate about what they do. They make every visit feel special. The food never disappoints. Every dish is full of flavour, beautifully presented, and consistently outstanding. It’s the kind of place where you look forward to your favourite dishes but also feel excited to try something new. And the wine list… simply incredible. Thoughtfully curated and full of fantastic options, it perfectly complements the menu and elevates the entire experience. Bistro Elba has become the place we return to again and again. Exceptional staff, unforgettable food, and an incredible wine list—what more could you want?

Went on a Sunday lunch. Not overly busy, relaxed, ambient and lovely sunny day. You get what you pay for, everything was great. Thoroughly enjoyed the food, great drinks list and attentive staff. Will definitely be back again.

2nd time at Bistro Alba, and can’t fault it. Food is delicious, atmosphere is great, service is great. Highly recommend it.

Very mediocre food at exorbitant cost. And the non-alcoholic drinks were so bad that we left those after the first sip. Those should be completely removed from the menu. Don't serve something that you're so bad at. We were just too disappointed to try the dessert. And in the end they didn't even bother asking 'how was the food?'.

Lovely restaurant with a lively atmosphere, feels like a lot of locals come here , nice attention to details right down to the olive in the martini. The oysters to start are a must to kick off your meal. We had the twice baked soufflé, stuffed zucchini flowers , chicken pot pie and lamb loin with ratatouille and excellent cabbage salad and affogato some local cheese for desert . We were given some wine selections from the staff which were bang on and the young man also gave us directions to some local vineyards in the area. Every dish was a delight and was well presented . The meal was not rushed and it felt like you were genuinely having a nice long meal in France at a lovely local bistro . I’d be eating here everyday if I was in the area!
