Having cycled up here earlier in the day we thought we’d try the bistro as it looked gorgeous. The good bits- waiter was lovely, building is very attractive, historic and has a good atmosphere. The not so good - in the bar in the main hotel we said we’d like two small glasses of red wine, instead of giving us the menu so we could see the prices he just reeled off the list. We chose the burgundy and were charged 42 euros, rip off! Ordered rib of beef at 95 euros we expected better, it was chewy. The lighting was weird spotlight in roof that shine into your eyes like you are being interrogated. Of our 3 night stay the most expensive by far and sadly disappointing.
