Our recent visit to Bistro Maison was disappointing. Service was unusually slow—despite requesting bottled water several times, it was never brought without repeated reminders. The waitstaff seemed inattentive and did not check in on us during the meal. We were surprised to see a 22% automatic gratuity added for a party of five, which felt excessive given the level of service. Additionally, our salads were served 15 minutes apart, requiring us to follow up to find out when the remaining ones would arrive. The foie gras, while flavorful, was overpriced considering the small portion size. We had high expectations, but unfortunately, the overall experience fell short.

The service was top notch, staff were attentive and accommodating. Appetizers of house soup and French onion were delicious. The potato tartine needs to be improved or phased out, a gallette or terrine would be a much better replacement. Salmon was perfect. Dessert platter with creme Brule and creme caramel was absolutely the highlight for my husband.

Google
A truly wonderful restaurant! The food and service was above and beyond…if you are in the area and have an opportunity to visit, please don’t pass up the chance to experience this spot!

I took my daughter here as a belated celebration dinner for her college graduation. We couldn’t have had better or more attentive service. EVERY single staff member from start to finish went above and beyond and had extensive knowledge of the menu. We had such an amazing experience it even ended with hugs to staff. 10 out of 10 recommend!

Best meal we’ve had in years! The wines were amazing and reasonably priced. Our food was excellent as good as it sounded on the menu. Worth every penny and more

This is my second time coming to Bistro Maison, and I fell in love all over again. You enter into a little cozy house, filled with the delicious smells of French cooking. We were originally seated inside, but I asked to be moved outside, which they quickly accommodated. Sitting outside in the garden with the string lights definitely elevated the experience. I ordered the Tartiflette, and couldn’t have been happier. All the ingredients melded together so well, from the red potato to the melted cheese and bacon - I wish I could have that everyday! We also ordered a salad and a soup, to make things a little healthier ;) Topped off with an espresso, this was the perfect evening at Bistro Maison.

Bistro Maison is an excellent place to eat for a special occasion. The pricing is a bit high, but the quality is definitely worth it. We went here for our anniversary and both had the pork which was excellent. We started with a truffle tartar with cheese which was so good. Their wine list is extensive, but their wine steward knew how to select the bottle for us. Loved the cab franc we got.

Went here with friends to celebrate my husbands birthday and it was amazing. The staff were so nice and made the evening very special. The food and the drinks were delicious. Highly recommend the fondue, any entree all perfect, the fresh peach ice tea, peach and pomegranate seltzers, crème brûlée/flan and the carrot cake.

Yelp
There is no better restaurant in McMinnville, or beyond, for fantastic food, service and atmosphere. This would be a very long review if I went into all the details I loved about this French gem - instead I will just say GO! (And definitely order the mussels!)

Taj T.

Yelp
Absolutely floored that there's a French restaurant in McMinnville, and not just that but an incredible one! From the second you step through the quaint, lantern lit garden in front of the small house you feel you've stepped into something special. We ate out in the veranda outside, and it made for a lovely experience on a warm autumn night. The beauty of dining in McMinnville is that there's room to breathe in the restaurant as not too many people are there, the service is highly attentive to all your needs, and the food comes quick. Not just that, but the food tastes fresher than most of what you'll have even in Portland. It felt like the vegetables and fruits had been plucked from the garden that same day. From the lobster ravioli we had to the stunning strawberry meringue for dessert, the food perfectly captured the essence of eating both a home cooked meal and a gourmet one. Definitely worth the drive out to McMinnville to enjoy this hidden country gem.

Yelp
Had a delightful dinner in the charming setting of this restaurant. Great choices, terrific service, and great background music. We started with perfectly shucked oysters with nose opening horseradish. The mussels were clean and didn't have any duds. We all dipped bread into the broth and spooned some out too! The escargot came with a dab of pastry puff on each one. The entrees included everything you would expect. No need for dish choices because we loved and shared them all! To full for dessert!

Lisa C.

Yelp
Amazing food and service!!!! We can't wait to return. If you're looking for a fantastic experience and the best food that you ever had. This is the place to go. We ordered an appetizer, dinner entree, and dessert to share and it was perfect!

Yelp
Food was outstanding. Pork chop and rib eye. Ambiance is quaint. Older building but has a nice vibe to it. A bit claustrophobic as the tables are close and the walkways to navigate are narrow. Service was just ok. We had one person walk us to our table (hostess), another greeted us and told us the specials. She never returned to our table. A third person took our order and brought our wine. A fourth brought our food. Nobody ever asked how our meal was and our glasses sat empty throughout our meal. The server who took our order eventually returned after we finished our meals and asked if we wanted another round but by then our glasses had been empty 20 mins and it was just too late. It was a Saturday night and every table was full. I'll give the benefit of the doubt and give it another shot next time

Yelp
I was looking forward to the French onion soup, and sadly it was not good. The Trader Joe's frozen onion soup is better. Too cheesy, the bread was so dang hard I could not even bite into it, and it tasted like it had too much kirsch or some type of liquor in it the beat salad was really good though. The sliced baguette did not taste like a baguette either. Very mediocre

Yelp
Had a wonderful dinner Saturday night on the patio with friends. Everything, and I mean everything, was just excellent (even the weather!). We started with oysters, pate and Champagne. Three of us had the scallops which were so large and fresh. Each plate had 4 scallops which was a lot of food. The sauce was divine. The desserts included a banana cake with ice cream and caramel sauce and a crème brûlée. Both were delicious. We could not have been more pleased with the service and the food. Continues to be my favorite spot in McMinnville.

Mark G.

Yelp
A very nice French eatery. Ambiance is cozy with Al fresco seating. We were there on a Wednesday around 6pm it was 85 degrees. The place has no air conditioning but with all the windows and doors open it was comfortable and light breezes were wafting through. We were seated promptly at a table nearby a window and door. Strangely there were hardly any flies or other annoying insects. Service was friendly and cheerful. We ordered some oysters and a capresi salad. They were both great. The tomatoes in the salad were so fresh and the oysters had a very tasty Bloody Mary type sauce. Mains were scallops and mussels. They were both delicious. We ordered a couple of the non alcoholic drinks which were tasty. Value was excellent. Highly recommend a stop. Mark & Nancy.

Yelp
The atmosphere is charming inside this restaurant. It's nice that they have an outdoor back patio, however, the chairs are not very comfortable. Scallops were delicious and the prawns as well. The service is okay, but a little intense with pressure on upselling. When we asked about two different dishes, she said they are both good and we should just share them amongst the table. And she doesn't leave it at that, she kept suggesting it several times to just split the second dish amongst the table, even though we had all already ordered appetizers and meals. Also, when boxing our items to go, the woman clearing the table started stacking things on the large basket of bread that we barely ate, and she totally wasted that bread. We would've taken it home. Again, the interior is lovely and the food was very good so I still give it four stars. If they could provide a more relaxing and enjoyable atmosphere with the server they could bring it up to five stars.

J D.

Yelp
The atmosphere here is cozy inside, would be lovely during cooler and wet weather. We ate outside on the patio due to my wife's insistence. It was great on the warm August evening. Service was exemplary. They do attempt upselling a bit, but not in an obnoxious way. It doesn't bother me, it's part of their job. Actually, I appreciated options I may not have considered. Their menu is extensive. Start with the bread. A basket of little baget rounds. This place can do much better. It should. Meh. My wife and I shared a very nicely made salad. Easily enough to share. I wanted to try the oysters. Usually oysters on the half shell are small. The server suggested only 6 as they are very big. She was right. They were quite large and satisfying, though there was a bit of a chock like texture at the end. No other way for me to describe it. Our main courses were an issue. The sides were great, but both my scallops and my wife's steak left up with a bitter aftertaste. Very strange. Perhaps a pan wasn't cleaned after preparation of a previous dish. I can't say, but they both otherwise were perfectly prepared. We had cocktails prior to dinner. They were good. And a Pinot Noir from one of our local wineries. No bottles here are inexpensive. Extensive list. Our server was very gracious and didn't charge us for the mains we couldn't eat. Service, again, is this restaurant's strong point. We are from that big city close by, dine out often and expect a great meal. This place has excellent potential.

Yelp
A group of six of us started a tradition last year of visiting a wine region each fall. This year we chose to fly from Texas to McMinnville. I made reservations for Bistro Maison for the second night of our trip. It was fantastic! The food was amazing; the wait staff was attentive; and the ambience was great. If we decide to make a return trip back to McMinnville this would be our first choice restaurant for sure.

Maddy M.

Yelp
Bistro Maison was recommended to us by a gentleman who worked at one of the nearby wineries. I had high hopes for a fancy night out and good food, but unfortunately I was left feeling a little disappointed. At first glance, the restaurant looks like it's inside of a house! You totally get a homey feeling when you are inside. The decor is very old school; I loved the funky yellow wallpaper! The host offered to hang our coats up before leading us to our table. They moved our reservation up an hour which was greatly appreciated. We were first sat at a table that was in a very high traffic area. They offered to move us without us even asking which was very thoughtful. The waitresses were hustling pretty hard. Props for getting the food out quickly to your hungry patrons! We ordered the coq au vin, duck, a salad and escargot. First they brought out a little bowl of french bread slices. The bread was a little on the soft side and was ice cold. Not the quality I was expecting from a "higher end" restaurant. The salad was great and big enough for two to share. The escargot was for sure one of the highlights. Big juicy snails covered in butter, garlic and parsley (don't yuck my yum!). The coq au vin was delicious, very thick sauce and the chicken just fell off of the bone. The duck was a big disappointment. While it was a great portion, the meat was very dry and the skin was a little hard to chew. I also ordered steam veggies as a side dish that were pretty flavorless. Just had a bit of salt and pepper on top, nothing special at all. Feeling a little meh about my meal, we decided to order some dessert. My friend got the crème brûlée trio which had a beautiful presentation. I was feeling like I wanted some ice cream, so I ordered the sundae. The waitress essentially called me out for ordering something too "plain". It felt super awkward to be dessert shamed. ANYWAY, loved the sundae! They doused that baby in chocolate and I enjoyed the berry flavor as well. Perhaps I ordered the wrong thing (the duck), but I wouldn't go out of my way to return if I am in the area again.

Yelp
Delicious food Excellent options Great wine selection Authentic French food Generous portion Relatively quick turnaround Try their sampler and bread is delish Tight spacing Gets loud Small tables so don't order a lot

Chris M.

Yelp
Wonderful selection of French food. Signatures include the pork chop and the mussels. However, our table of 4 was so tiny, there was insufficient space to hold our food. The waitstaff also pushed us to order everything up front, which resulted in us ordering significantly more than we could eat. I would have appreciated a more leisurely atmosphere, considering it is a French place.

Jenn S.

Yelp
I've always loved going to Bistro Maison, either for a special occasion or just a yummy, special take out meal. My 50th birthday was Wednesday, and I texted Deborah in the morning to see if we can fit in our table of four to celebrate. She fit us in, and it was a beautiful evening to sit by the open patio door! we had SO much yummy food and such wonderful service, we were in absolute heaven on earth! between the endless supply of fresh baked bread to the beautiful mushroom tapanade, to the succulent salmon with an amazingly subtle bergamot and blood orange beurre blanc to my scrumptious bowl of French onion soup...and the consistently BEST carrot cake in the world and my burning TORCH of a birthday candle, our evening was MOST EXCELLENT! Thank you, Bistro Maison, for giving me the best birthday dinner!!!

W R.

Yelp
Went here for dinner after a fine day of wine tasting and had a great meal and on point service. The escargot were delicious, tartines were lovely, smoky onion gratinee was a nice touch and the fondue to share was exquisite! We will be back on our next wine adventure in Willamette Valley!

Allen W.

Yelp
Although the food was good, the owner was very rude and abusive to both staff and customers. I'm surprised that no one has reported them to the BBB.

Josh W.

Yelp
Great decor and delicious food make for a great combo for date night. We had the Mejool Dates, which were criminally rich and tasty. The main courses were the duck and hangar steak which were good as well, and in keeping with the French tradition of keeping dishes simple. All of that paired with an excellent wine selection means we'll definitely be back again

Jake N.

Yelp
Incredible. It's like dining at someone's house in southern France. Easily one of my top favorite Mac restaurants with incredible service, superb French food, and a beautiful garden seating area in the summer.

Lisa H.

Yelp
A quirky little spot to try in McMinnville. Visited for my first time for an early Valentine's Day dinner and will have to come again another day to see how it compares.

Steven P.

Yelp
I hate to do this because it will make it impossible for me to get a table in the future. My wife and I have been frequenting this restaurant for the past 5 years. We go for special occasions, birthdays, anniversaries out of town guests. We are foodies from New York City but now we live in Portland. This restaurant without a doubt is our favorite restaurant in the Portland area. It's as good as any restaurant I have ever eaten in the world. Although it takes us over an hour to get to McMinnville, it's worth it. The food, the service the ambience feels like you're in a bistro in Paris. The duck, the pork chop, salads, french fries, deserts and wine pairings are to die for. I can't wait to go back!

Kate C.

Yelp
Adorable French restaurant the downtown area. We were spending a couple days in the area and we wanted some rich food after all the wine tasting. Bistro Maison did not disappoint! From the warm welcome at the door to our lovely waitress, the experience was perfection! We both started with the French onion soup, which was heavenly. We also both had the duck and French fries for our main meal, which was also incredible. We paired everything with a local Pinot Noir. All in all, a great meal!

Simona T.

Yelp
Quaint little French restaurant that serves authentic gourmet dishes, in a very nice ambiance and at affordable prices. We absolutely loved it and recommend the truffle tapenade.

Didi D.

Yelp
No stars - chef very nasty! Food was not very French and tasted premade . Service so so - I would not venture there when so many better choices abound in wine country .

David F.

Yelp
Very busy Tuesday night with large crowd there which was a promising sign along with high rating. But, red flags throughout the evening. First stood at the entrance for several minutes with no one noticing we were there. Finally got seated but got a small table in a very noisy spot. A lady (perhaps the owner?) noticed where we sat and offered to move us to a better table with less noise. That was the best part of the service. After that, it took 20 minutes of waiting to place an order. Another 20 minutes to get a bowl of (albeit delicious) soup. Another 20 minutes to get the main course - salmon, steak and shrimp. Quite honestly, nothing stood out to warrant 4 stars. One of the problems with their service is they don't have assigned sections. "Everyone works together," I was told but that resulted in very spotty and very slow service. Not to mention that one of the "servers" spent too much time socializing with a table of friends and ignoring the rest. Last of all, they kept opening the doors because the staff was hot thus freezing out the customers. All in all, very disappointed and won't come back when there are better places down the block.

Phillip Z.

Yelp
With all this wine tasting, you'll need to take in some food. We were mostly snacking throughout the day, saving our hunger for our dinner at Maison Bistro, located right in downtown McMinnville. You'd swear you arrived at a traditional Parisian Bistro with its outdoor seating and extensive wine list and menu featuring all things French. We were starving and quickly ordered their most popular dish as a starter, the black truffle tapenade made with Oregon black truffles Porcini, Black Trumpet and Morel mushrooms with garlic, olive oil and fromage blanc (cheese). It's not something I'd typically order, but our server highly recommended it. And I'm glad I took her up on it! From here, my partner suggested we share the fondue cheese entrée. Our server seemed a little skeptical. More cheese? Really? Clearly, we're having only cheese for our meals today. It came out piping hot and was the perfect meal to pair with all the wine we had today. And of course, was incredibly filling. We did just eat an entire baguette, too, so I'm sure that helped. What an incredible day out in Oregon's Willamette wine country... with so much eating and drinking. I think we'll need to up our workout game once we get home. But it was fun (and delicious) while it lasted!

Yelp
It is highly possible that my beef is with French cooking and not this particular restaurant. Starting with the drinks. My wife got the limoncello cocktail and I got the NA spritzers. Best part of the meal for me. The limoncello was a little heavy on the citrus flavored vodka and a little light on the limoncello. Not pleasant. For starters we got the vegetarian French onion soup. It lacked depth of flavor for sure. It almost tasted like enchilada sauce to me. Overall not very successful but we appreciate the effort. We got the special which was shrimp-cargot. Over cooked shrimp but the butter sauce was nice. But really why would we eat snails willingly anyway. My wife got the ravioli. It was kind of a mess. Clunky inconsistently cut cooked and seasoned vegetables on top. Come on. Do better. I got the duck. Maybe it's the American in me but I was hoping for something more than just a plate of meat with a bunch of sauce. The duck confit was good. I know it's hard to do. The sauce was ok. Kind of if orange chicken was less fun in the sauce department but more fun in the meat department. I guess the frites count as a starch. Most of them were perfect! Why most? Because some were incinerated or soggy raw. Don't remind me that I'm getting the bottom of the basket. However a fry with the duck sauce was the perfect bite. Did I mention this sauce was liquid magma hot? The French would make thick sauces to last the trip from the kitchen. I'm not sure this is still necessary. Overall, cute decor average service and a menu that is way too large. I think they could get away with half of it. I don't understand the function of the second page either. If someone treated me I would come back. But otherwise. No thanks.

Adam B.

Yelp
Great spot. They were VERY friendly to our dog as we sat on the patio--multiple people offering water for him and saying hi to him. The food was a little too buttery -- everything seemed to be soaked in butter -- but then again it is French! Everything was excellent otherwise.

Gustavo G.

Yelp
This food was incredible. I went on a date with my wife and she was over the roof about it. The staff paid close attention to us every step of the way. They refilled our wine glasses whenever they were low and were super attentive to when they needed to bring out each of our appetizers and meal. Very knowledgeable as well. We started with the charcuterie board 8.7/10! Great selection of cheese and fruits and amazing dips but i wish the meat was more abundant in selection. Our next appetizer was the king crab cocktail 7.6/10. It was good! The crab was nice but otherwise not a lot of complexity. My wife had the salmon and i had the Pork Chop, wow! Pork Chop was a solid 9.3/10 - absolutely delicious deep rich flavors and perfectly cooked. I highly recommend this for a date night, a special occasion or even just for a nice night out.

Robert B.

Yelp
meh. The service is kind of slow and the food is middle of the road. Also annoyed that she slapped my card away because "American Express charges too much" and they would rather you pay on a other form.

Tony M.

Yelp
This place sucks...no flavor. Shitty service. Falling apart building. Don't spend your money here.

Dan D.

Yelp
We had reservations for this spot and showed up a few minutes early. A Nice converted house and we sat outside on the patio. We were sat and given water by the hostess. There were about 8 tables around us being served. We waited 15-20 minutes for service or a hello. We're we're never noticed or served. . Once the table next to us left and they were cleaning up the dishes we decided we had been patient enough. We got up and left, again with no comment or notice. Big thumbs down On this French spot.

Naomi A.

Yelp
My favorite restaurant ever! The food and ambiance are amazing! I would definitely recommend this place! Make sure to get reservations !

Martin A.

Yelp
All was fine till the LONG wait for dessert. 25 minutes is a bit much for a small restaurant. Good food; enough attentive staff until there wasn't.

Kristen N.

Yelp
My review from our meal last night is not much different from the last review I left...we still enjoyed the basically same meal...duck, Foie Gras (but as an appetizer so it comes sitting in that divine sauce just like the duck with warmed strawberries and bread) and salmon...here is the twist to my meal...next time we need to try their fries they are made in house and the care and preparation they use is nuts...so that and the fondue which I hear is to DIE for is on our list! Other than that read my previous reviews...their food is exactly the same each time we come and that in itself speaks volumes to us. Their quality never waivers and it's always delicious!! My duck is served with a house salad which had beautiful fresh ingredients right out of the garden and a small spiral of sweet pickled beets inside wow wow wow and not over dressed it was really lovely! They also have a deep wine list (and a full bar) and the owner Debra knows the wine list very well so if your in doubt just ask for some help! Also note the atmosphere here is super cozy, the music is low and melodious and very relaxing while you wait. Lighting is low so you feel very comfortable just waiting while your meal is prepared. They also have two very cute patio spaces so on a nice day sit outside and enjoy the lovely weather.

Rod C.

Yelp
Our group of six had a spectacular experience here. From the appetizers to the desserts, the food was innovative and delicious. Did I mention that the portions are extremely generous? Service was attentive and professional without any stuffiness. The atmosphere is intimate and during two separate "happy birthday" singalongs, the guests were in good cheer. As our group drove home to Eugene, we agreed we can't wait to go back.

Mandy P.

Yelp
Made reservations for dinner for my family and best friends. I am visiting from Florida and this was the most recommended in town. Got there for our reservation and immediately asked about splitting tabs (5/5, not hard), our waitress was very polite about it and was rudely interrupted by what we assume is the owner as this continued to happen thruout our meal. It was very akward and off putting for everyone sitting at the table as we were trying to be discreet about it (our bill was well over $500 at the end and they did not split). Upon asking again they brought us a calculator, the hand drawn map of our table and orders (we sat split as we planned to pay, it was literally down the center so two order sheets would have been easy to do -- I work F&B for a major theme park and have this hourly, not that big of an issue). Our waitress apologized quietly and said she was trying to accommodate and was told to bring us the calculator and to let us figure it out. She walked away and then came back and stated that she was told to come supervise what we were doing. It was extremely off putting. For a table full of veterans (navy, army and Air Force), this was a slap as it seemed like they thought we were going to skip out on the bill or something, we just felt like they were watching us even tho we stated our request in the beginning. For this reason alone we will NEVER be back. My aunt and uncle live here and have been in several times but stated after this they will not be in again. Our friends drove up from Corvallis to eat here as they have done before (after living in Paris this is the closest cuisine around and they come up for special occasions) and are sad to not WANT to come again. I am visiting but I will never be back in future visits. Very very disappointed. As for the food, It was amazing. All of it. We ordered a medium priced Bordeaux that was still $100/bottle. It was perfection. Another complaint around our table was the constant fussing. The staff would barely let us finish a course before clearing the table. About 5 staff were constantly rotating around grabbing and arranging things. We were conversing and would have to pause with all the arms between us.

Janelle H.

Yelp
Unexpectedly surprised. After a couple of reservations that we canceled over the phone because we were so rudely treated and refused to spend our money there....we decided to jump in, expecting to have the same experience as all of the negative reviews. The customer service was spot on, the food was perfect, the ambiance was a perfect date night. We´lol be back again!

M T.

Yelp
I came by a second time the food and service Outstanding! I had escargot and duck first time and crab salad and steak second time. I would love to return.

Rick C.

Yelp
My wife and I decided to give this a try on Christmas Eve thinking it would be a fun, romantic way to spend the evening. We were sorely disappointed. It was very loud with music pumped in a far too loud a volume and tables crammed as tightly as possible. Nothing intimate or romantic about it. The food was ok, but nothing to write home about, especially at the $70 per person price for the evening. My cassoulete was ok though very salty and my wife's seared duck was sloppily delivered in a pool of orange cognac spilling over the edge of the plate. Overall, I would rate this establishment a "hard pass".

Marylee T.

Yelp
I was blown away this evening after calling Bistro Maison to see if they could possibly be pet friendly and could accommodate me last minute ( I had just made a 7 hour drive day heading back to Canada). Deborah advised me that the restaurant was fully booked but that I was more than welcome to sit at one of their porch tables with my little Aussie. When I arrived they sat me right away, brought me a HEATED blanket and just made me feel so cared for. AND...... the food was amazing. I had French Onion soup and the Moules-Frites with house made Saffron Aoili. What a delightful welcome to this little McMinnville gem. MT & Bisou Thanks also to Atticus Hotel for the recommendation

Joseph S.

Yelp
This place use to be good but they were out of oysters about 2 hours after opening? How do you run out only 2 hours after opening plus their dessert was out of stock 2hours after opening... servers didn't seem to care when their food is bland... sad this place was really good maybe new owners? For the price this place isn't worth it right now very let down. Food is way over priced hanger steak was super chewy and left pieces of half chewed stuff on the side of the plate they care more about $ than what they are serving here. I won't be back anytime soon! Btw the hangar steak had no veggies and covered in fat this place is a scam!

Yelp
What a gem of a restaurant! We passed by the area, luckily made reservations on time - and had the best dinner in a Michelin star-worthy restaurant set up in the most charmingly decorated house!

Michelle G.

Yelp
We were really excited but very disappointed - steak and frites - not good- French onion soup was way too floral - customer service not great. I would not recommend this restaurant and I'm pretty easy to Please. No thanks

Wayne G.

Yelp
Unheated awful disaster cold terrible patio! Tried to force a 75 dollar price fix menu without disclosing it! Terrible service!

Samantha R.

Yelp
Stayed in McMinnville for 3 nights while visiting the Willamette Valley. Thank you Yelpers for the recommendation to Bistro Maison! One of the best meals I have ever had - And that is saying a lot for a global traveling foodie like me!! Our staters were the soups the the day - butternut squash soup and salad. Yum Main courses were the special of the day - Salmon and the muscles and frites. Wow. Blew out socks off with the complex layering of flavors and light sauce on the salmon. The muscles were in a beautiful tomato garlic sauce. And the pommes frites were ... better than (some) sex!! They are prepared over 3 days and the love they put into making them showed! We were too stuffed for dessert but given the amazingness of the meal we forged on .... and finished all the carrot cake which was moist and had the perfect balance of flavor and spices. Get a reservation!

Yelp
Food was excellent. Simple vodka soda was an outrageous $16 Ask for prices before ordering.

Yelp
If you read a review that is less than 5 stars please understand that your source is unreliable. The Bistro is by far the best dining experience you can have in the Willamette Valley. You'll enjoy wonderful staff, and service, delicious and fresh food and a welcoming, cozy ambiance that makes you feel like you've been swept to a euro countryside. The fondue is most spectacular starter you can find in the Valley, the Steak Frites and Salmon are staples, and the rotating desserts are divine. Not to mention, your meals can be excellently paired with a fabulous wine (often hard to find brands and bottles), or accompanied with a tasty cocktail. It will be a truly sad day when the Bistro closes its doors.
