Bistrô Santa Satisfação - Copacabana

We had a great experience at Bistrô Santa Satisfação in Copacabana! The food was delicious, fresh, and nicely presented. What really stood out was the kind and attentive service—the staff made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. A big plus: they offer English menus, which made ordering much easier. Whether you’re just visiting the area or staying nearby, this spot is definitely worth a stop for a cozy, satisfying meal.

Had the breakfast and a dinner here (close to Windsor California and Marriot). Both were great. Live music in the evening, solid service, enough English on the menu to get by. Pasta and beef salad were both nice (pomodoro sauce was a bit sweeter than my usual liking). Breakfast was nice, especially the cake and the waffle (made of the same batter likely).

Great dinner at Bistro Santa Satisfaçao. We went there as a group of 4, were instantly seated and quickly serves 4 caipirinhas. The staff helped make a good food selection, including a small serving of meats grilled for you at your side. It was a fun way to enjoy the meat with many tasty, both light and heavy, sides.

Risotto with gorgonzola had good taste and a big portion size. Cost $59 real. Leek risotto with grilled salmon, shrimps and vegetables was also good. The half size plate is big enough for most people. Cost $49 real. Nov/2022. Cosy restaurant atmosphere!

The food is just okay, nothing special, not very tasty. The waiters are rude, not helpful and not smiling. They should work somewhere else of they don't like their job. There are plenty of chicken barracas on the copacana beach.

Excellent, tasty, food with good portions at a reasonable price. Service was good, the staff were genuinely interested in ensuring your dining experience was good. We ate at two more places nearby but were disappointed that they weren't as good. We will definitely be going back again!

I had an excellent lunch there, I got the tilapia with shrimp and risotto. It's been my experience Brazilians like rather bland food. But there everything was very flavorable. Service was great and check arrived promptly when I asked for it. Also most Rio restaurants include a 10% for below par service, so the staff don't even try. There they do NOT include a service fee but service is great. Go figure! I will be a returning customer for sure. Recommended.

Visiting from Miami. Had a truly enjoyable Sunday Mimosas morning by mixing Brazilian espumante and Maracuyá (passion fruit) juice sitting outside at sidewalk under the trees. Service is very prompt & proper (and very friendly)

This place was amazing and the service was just as good! You will see when you visit Brazil while black. Let's just say the experience isn't always so pleasant. The customer service was real and the food was amazingggggggg everything was, FAB

Came here on our 2nd night in Rio. A smaller restaurant but great nonetheless. Our waitress did not speak any English but was patient with us, helping us to understand the menu options & helping us to order. Food was great & prices very reasonable, including the bottles of wine we ordered. Would return here again without hesitation.

The farfalle pasta with shrimp was AMAZING!! My friend had a chicken Alfredo that tasted delicious as well. We're so sad we discovered this restaurant on our last full day there or we would've went back again!

JW Marriott concierge recommended and it didn't disappoint. Quick lunch service and generous portions. The food was delicious. The chocolate mousse was so rich, you could definitely share.

Nice little lunch spot. Pasta was yummy and filling. Place is small and packed but food comes out fast so we were able to get a seat pretty quickly.

Walked by this a few times while walking around Copacabana and finally decided to give it a whirl. It caught my eye because you don't see many trendy cafes while walking around Rio- maybe in Leblon I guess. Went along for Sunday brunch on the weekend and there was a huge line of people waiting outside but we decided to wait it out! It really didn't take too long, probably about half an hour. It's a cute little cafe with chairs and tables outside on the sidewalk- we were seated inside though. The menu is diverse with your usual breakfast-type foods as well as salads and pastas. I started with a meat carpaccio then went on to have the pasta. The pasta was a bit rich for my liking- way too salty and too much garlic. Ordered some watermelon cocktails and had a bit of a boozy lunch- it was great! Great for families too.

I'm not your pasta for lunch kind of guy, but after a morning run up a long long long long hill I needed large amounts of carbs (which sure, my cardiologist agrees is the best course here). This place is busy, frequented by locals and tourists. My lunch companion and I were sat outside which at first seemed would be super cool but became a bit too busy for me. My portuguese is terrible, but I was able to navigate the menu and was able to decipher a spaghetti dish with tilapia and mushrooms. It was perfect and the house wine the waiter recommend was a perfect pairing. My lunch date went with a seafood salad and espresso drink (yes, I did inform her that they intact serve alcohol). The dish was fresh and very delicious. Prices (considering the locations) are reasonable and the service excellent.

This spot is always packed. It lies right off Copacabana beach in Rio. I'm going to preface that this review might be inflated because i was famished when i arrived, but i thought the food and service here was great. Even with a huge line out the door, they seated our party of two right away. I ordered the fettuccine alfredo's with steak as 1) i miss pasta and 2) i couldn't really understand the portuguese on the menu. The pasta was fresh and well seasoned. It didn't taste much like alfredo, but was close enough to satiate my pasta craving. The steak was cooked over-easy which i like. It tasted adequate but nothing compared to a Ruth Chris. Ordering was fast, service was fast, getting the check was fast, food was tasty, can't ask for much more in Rio!

Santa Satisfacão is a charming little cafe. There are some tables outside to enjoy some sunlight if you wish as well as inside-seating. It gets really busy during the lunch hour and the place isn't very big so get ready to get cozy. I recently had brunch here with a friend and although we really wanted to sit outside, we opted inside because it is on a busy street with many passerbyers and I was a little paranoid that my purse would get snatched off of my chair (the downfalls of Copacabana). I got the Mediterranean salad that had shrimp and garbanzo beans. I was tempted to get one of their omelettes but opted to stray from my norm. I am happy I did. My salad was really good (though I continued to eye the omelettes around me in envy). The service was pretty good. Nothing to write home about but I am used to slow service in Rio at this point. At least they aren't printing your check and shooing you out the door like they do in the US.

Really felt like a rip off. Looked for it after the good reviews here and it looked good as we went in, but the food was ultra simple, lazy, and overpriced. ~R$30 for a small pasta dish, worse than you could make for less at home: packet pasta, and a really stingy sauce. Like 5 small pieces of shitty big tomato, 5 olives, 3 pieces of mozzarella...Overpriced drinks too. Avoid.

This will be a MUST do ANY and EVERY time I'm in Rio. I am SO happy my friend and I walked by this place. It is simple. It feels homey and comforting. It feels personal. You can certainly feel and taste the love throughout the entire experience. I loved the cafe style decor with comfy couches and cushions and I was pleasantly surprised that their menu offered more than coffee and cake. My pasta dish was orgasmic-ly amazing, and I did not want it to end.

Adorable little cafe that we stopped in for a late breakfast after seeing the cristo. We walked from the copacabana ticket counter/shuttle drop off, and it wasnt too bad. The place appears to be a little italian bistro, but with many different items, not necessarily italianm. My friend got the shrimp omelette which she said was fluffy and delicious, one of her favorite meals in Brazil. It came with a side salad in the cutest little basket made of cheese (genius). My other friend got a pasta (penne) which she enjoyed, and third friend got a caesar salad which was absolutely stuffed with chicken. It was basically chicken with a side of salad. Portions were generous, especially because we ordered the small! Great deal, cute menus, what's not to love? They just needed some crayons to draw on the placemats and everything would be perfect!

Their pasta was amazing! I got the pesto pasta with raisins and shredded chicken. It was absolutely delicious and the small size is very filling so no need to splurge on the large unless you are starving or sharing! Then, for dessert we couldn't resist the crepe and got one with Nutella and strawberries. It was mouth watering. Also really big so great for sharing.

This is by far one of the best restaurants in Copa Cabana area...I was walking past 5 years ago, and THE AROMA called me back! I couldn't resist asking what kind of food was that...ITALIAN! Well, needless to say there was a wait for the table, they were PACKED. Once, seated I looked for the seafood dishes immediately, ordered Seafood Mediterranean! YUM! This is a healthy plate of pasta and shrimp (camarão). The servers who have been there for years, are very polite, fast, and there's an English menu offered for Grengas, like myself. The prices are very reasonable and they even have half portions for those on a budget. They're open on Christmas Eve also (ALMOST EVERYTHING IN BRAZIL IS CLOSED on Christmas and Christmas Eve, unlike America). They celebrate it like we do Thanksgiving -a two day extravaganza! Lol Well, if you're here in Copa Cabana please make an effort to add this little pearl in Rio!

Great pastas. They are also very generous on the takeout/delivery dishes. You could provably have 2 meals with one order.

Excellent experience. I had the half order of chicken alfredo. It's was some of the best I have had in a while. The cafe opens up to the street which was nice. I definitely recommend this place if you are in Copacabana.

The food is great, healthy options, good portions. The staff is attentive, great service. Will come back again.

The food was amazing! I had the quinoa shrimp salad that was light and tasty and satisfying. My husband had the spaghetti with garlic, olive oil, shrimp and squid. The balance of tastes were perfect. For dessert we had an espresso with milk and a lemon tart. Again. Perfect taste and presentation. The restaurant seems to be a local place. Busy but seating is quick. Not fancy but not touristy either. It deserves its stars.

really good pasta. I got the Alfredo and subbed the chicken for shrimp. really great portions. wait time is pretty quick. outstanding omelettes for brunch that includes a side salad in a cheese crisp tostada. wonderful find and value priced for the portion sizes.

This is such a great cafe...close to the beach and has really excellent food! You can sit on the sidewalk or inside the open air restaurant and enjoy a great meal.

RISOTTO IS SO GOOD HERE! The fish was so buttery too. Price is very reasonable here and not as inflated as a lot of the other sub-par/over-priced restaurants in Copacabana. We speak 0 Portuguese and they were still friendly enough and knew a tiny bit of English to accompany us.

Great local place. Delicious, fresh food with great service. Best lemon Risotto. Really enjoyed our meal. Large portions for the price. It's always busy which is a good sign :-).
