Had the privilege of celebrating a birthday lunch here. I'll definitely be back. Food: extensive menu with something for everyone. Highly recommend the steak. Service: excellent service with attention to detail. Atmosphere: it does get a bit busy and loud especially when the weather turns and the patio doors are closed. Excellent wines!

Absolutely gorgeous place with incredible wine and food. The service is next level, my partner and I arrived very early to our reservation and they allowed us to work in a corner of the restaurant while waiting for our reservation which was 3 hours away. They were extremely accommodating. In addition to that our lunch was sensational. I had the slow cooked beef ragù gnocci and my partner had the sesame sirloin salad which is impeccable. The red wine here is absolutely delicious, better off buying a whole bottle!

A culinary experience - tapas that were tasty, delicious and out of this world. Really enjoyed our meal and experience. Will love to come back soon.

Bistro Sixteen82 is always a win. The food is beautifully prepared, fresh, flavorful, and creative without trying too hard. The setting is absolutely stunning, surrounded by the vineyards, which makes the whole experience feel relaxed yet refined. The service was attentive and friendly, and everything came together perfectly for a laid-back breakfast. Definitely one of the best spots in the Constantia area for great food and a great vibe.

We had the best time, The food was so nice. I ate Grilled ostrich meat for the first time and it was delicious. Oh the service was also the best.

I love a good dinner special, so we decided to try the Tapas for 2 at Bistro 1682. Firstly the atmosphere was impeccable. The sparking chandelier over the wine tasting bar is stunning 😍 and the aesthetics of the dinning area is magnificent. The service on the on day could have been better. Towards the end of the night, I struggled to get someone to help with taking our order and getting us the bill. Onto the food: The Soup was good, a little too sweet but enjoyable in small quantities. 4/5 The west mussels were okay, unfortunately they were underwhelming compared to the pickled fish that came with it. 3/5 The pickled fish was so delicious and was surprisingly the star of the show. I would definitely enjoy a bigger plate of this 5/5 Chicken livers: The livers were bland and overcooked. The polenta complimented the dish well but unfortunately did not make up for the lack of taste 3/5 Beff Potstickers: This dish was disappointing. The pastry was too hard, the beef was too chewy and the garnishment not being compatible. We ended up not fishing this dish the way it was so bad 2/5 If you got this far. Overall this was a great experience. The tapas are delicious. This is a great way to taste a variety of different dishes. We ordered 6 dishes which was a lot. There's a winter tapas board for two available which is what we were initially in for, but we changed our minds and ordered other dishes. Well worth it. Beautiful surroundings.
