The only option they have for the brunch is a gluten-free menu. Unfortunately, it is not tasty at all. And super ordinary with no connection between items. The salad was not fresh and I can say it was old. You can see in the pictures. But the staff is nice and helpful and the atmosphere is amazing.

We visited twice. The staff are brilliant, the atmosphere in the garden perfect. The coffee was great - latte macchiato, and the Black Forest cake, gluten free, was definitely worth the second trip to have it again Highly recommended.

What a beautiful & charming veggie cafe with the beautiful view of the Cathedral! I enjoyed a quiet lunch to myself in their outside dining patio which was adorable. Staff was friendly! Everything here is vegetarian or vegan! Everything was labeled & clearly known what was vegan. They had a daily special of vegan risotto. One of the best meals I had while in France. The flavor was out of this world, fresh spinach, creamy, comforting & the crispy topping (sorry, wasn’t sure what it was!!!) was amazing!!! Such a beautiful presentation as well! Really nice to find a meat free spot in this area!

Incredible place with great food and drinks. O love chocolate, sweet and milky. Si if you too, you just try white chocolate and with a lemon pie will be just amazing.

Google
The atmosphere and service was white nice. The Gluten Free Menu on the other hand was far from that. There was only one brunch option. The bread was dry and the fixings were lacking flavor. Would not recommend going there as a gluten free person. The Gluten options were also just okay.

This brasserie is excellent. We stumbled upon it by accident while looking for a place for lunch. And what a surprise! We were given a delicious platter with a variety of delicious treats that complemented each other perfectly. It's definitely recommended to eat or drink here. They also have a wide variety of hot chocolate. So all in all a good place to cross off if you are in Strasbourg

We fell in love during our trip. The bistro is super small but its a very cozy atmosphere. The service is incredible! They are super nice and speak multiple languages. We loved the food but the hit chocolate was a highlight. I never had 80% chocolate as a drink before.

Yelp
We decided to try this place for brunch after a bit of walking around on our day trip to Strasbourg. The place is very nice and have outdoor seating available. We didn't have anything set that we really wanted to try and just went with their recommendations. ...and first things first--we enjoyed our brunch. It was delicious. The mix of sweet and savory; as well as the warm and cold side of the board was great balance. We really had a lovely time. Here comes the "But"... the only thing that bothered us a bit was the guy helping us (manager/owner?) was a bit defensive (almost argumentative) on his explanation between hot chocolate drink and hot cocoa. I'm pretty sure he's very knowledgeable and passionate about his line of work...but his attitude should be turned down a notch or two for the folks that may not know (like us) a lot about the subject.

Yelp
We found this little cafe on a quiet little alley in Strasbourg. Looking for a coffee and a snack, we sat on the outdoor patio, which is very pretty, quiet, and private. Mr. Bee ordered a cappuccino and we shared a chocolate mousse crepe. The coffee was delicious, and the crepe was not only beautiful but filled with light chocolate mouse, with more mousse on the side. It was a delicious few bites and the perfect pairing with coffee.

Yelp
Way, way overpriced. I love hot chocolate. I am a chocolate - not coffee fanatic. I was very excited to try this place. The hot chocolate is only so-so and the crepe was sub par. Total of $55 for 2 hot chocolates and 2 crepes. You have got to be kidding me. Save your money and try a different place. Salon de The' Grand Rue.

Yelp
We were drawn to the charming and enticing atmosphere of Bistrot et Chocolat's outdoor seating area, just a few steps away from the hub-bub of the Cathedral square. We loved the risotto, the omelets were delicious, all of the desserts we shared were amazing. Our service was efficient, friendly making us feel welcome and at home. There was no sense of rushing us on our way, and we so enjoyed our time with friends, charmed by the owner who made us feel like old friends! We all agreed at the end of our 3 weeks in Switzerland and France that our lunch at Bistrot et Chocolat was definitely one of the highlights.

Yelp
* Service: RUDE and condescending. * Ambience: outdoor and indoor. Tight seating * Hot chocolate: price ranges from €6.5 to €9.5 for one cup 4-6 fluid oz. of hot Chocolat. Having been to over 50 countries, I think the hot Chocolat is good but over priced. Oh, there were FRUIT FLIES in the store I don't think they like Americans. When asked to speak to the manager, it turned out that the owner of the place was the guy that was rude. There are many other places in town, why pay to get bad services?

Yelp
The place is quaint, decoration is nice. We ordered Café Au Lait, Capuchino, a Latte and a Hot Chocolate. All the coffees were okay, the chocolate was pretty good. The service was not so great. Prices are a bit more than average for Strasbourg.

Yelp
The most incredible Hot Chocolate...the owner recommended the 63% Dark Cusco Chocolate (From Peru)...he explained that the cacao beans are grown at over 10,000' - and while it had a price tag of 9.5 euro - it was worth it! I have been waiting years to try the infamous French Chocolat Chaud...or hot chocolate, as I've read articles about its decadence over the last few years. It was served at the perfect temperature- and very thick, almost like pudding...topped with fresh whipped cream. It was everything I dreamed of! Merci!!

Yelp
I loved the place ! Their food is excellent and I loved to drink my hot chocolate and a soup bowl :) The atmosphere is very cosy. Nice and warm. The menu offers a lot of options and their brunch is just awesome. The place is often full so you'll probably have to wait a little bit in line before your get seated.

Yelp
If you're looking for a cozy, relaxed ambiance for a bunch/dinner/supper it's a good place to good. It is near the Notre-Dame de Strasbourg Cathedral. I had a Vegan burger which was alright, wasn't great but it wasn't bad! The patates on the side were very very delicious!! The vegan hot dog was amazing also ! Would recommend for anyone vegan or not

Yelp
Totally rude and arrogant service. Do. OT offer menu in English or waiter/owner didn't even try to explain food in English and did not want us to share a plate. Just want to make money no customer service whatsoever. Would never recommend or go there again. Food is soso, very mediocre, but service and pricing is very bad.

Yelp
Food was fresh and amazing!! No English menus so bring your translator app. Brownie is addicting.

Yelp
Wow. We stepped in for a couple of hot chocolates and were impressed with the choices based on cocoa beans from all over the world. Both kinds were delicious and distinctly different. We could see the slight disappointment in the owners face when we said yes to whipped cream (not the full chocolate experience) but the chocolate was so rich we needed it. The owner came by and shared photos of him buying the cocoa beans in Peru himself....an all around great experience with a passionate proprietor. It's a must try if you are anywhere near the Cathedral.

Yelp
Was a fantastic way to end a trip to Strasbourg! Atmosphere was quant and the food was very tasty. It was a different brunch than what we were used to but it was still well worth it and my wife and I enjoyed our visit!

Yelp
Super sweet brunch like typical French breakfast, cozy place and near to the riverside, very friendly staff

Yelp
I don't get what people love about this place.... but we didn't eat a meal, maybe that's it? Decor is a bit chintzy, but it doesn't feel bad inside. You would think for paying €4 for a hot chocolate, you'd get a nice thick, decadent, i-will-remember-this hot chocolate, but this thing was like a bowl of watered down ovaltine. Really unimpressed.

Yelp
Really overpriced but nice hot chocolate. But definitely wildly overpriced.

Yelp
The place is cute and not filled with tourists. The staff is very friendly. I read good things about this place so I was really excited. I chose a plate with al sorts of things, a bit like tapas. Most of the dishes weren't tasty at all. A blend salad, weird sauces... The sweets were nice. I enjoyed the chocolat dessert. I got hot chocolat too. Oh my god, it was disgusting. I can't describe what is tasted like but it sure wasn't chocolat! My boyfriend had the vegetarian burger. It was OK but not great. So, a cute place with a nice atmosphere and great to sit for a drink. But I guess you can find that somewhere else too and with better food.

Yelp
Spotted Bistrot et Chocolat while exploring the center of Strasbourg and thought it would be an excellent place to take my boyfriend for a birthday brunch. Close by the cathedral and river, this place has a beautiful terrace to eat on when the weather is nice. We were a bit too early for a weekend brunch (it was actually our breakfast) so had to wait until the place opened at 10. Man, were we happy we waited! We both ordered the Serious miam, which is 15,50 eur. It includes a mix of sweet and salty, such as: scrambled eggs, crispy baguette with jam, beet spread, carrot spread, salad, a cookie, a salty cake, a fresh cheese with musli, etc. a coffee/tea/hot chocolate and a juice. We both left full and satisfied. I would most definitely recommend to all! Especially visiting tourists as I believe all the people that were eating when we were happened to also be tourists. I noticed this place also serves different dishes daily, which I'm sure is equally as good as the brunch!

Yelp
I did not try a lot from menu, just crepes filled with mousse, but the taste was great! I think people who like sweets will find a lot of tasty things. Minus is that the place is quite small and tight but there are a lot of people.

Yelp
Superb hot chocolate! The place is great for brunch and they are one of the few restaurants in Strasbourg that are open on Sundays. The service was pretty good and the staff friendly. Prices were average although the set breakfast could get a but pricey. Over all it's a nice place to go to especially if you like your hot chocolate.

Yelp
Fantastic brunch and wonderful service. I really enjoyed it and highly recommend it to both veggies and meat eaters for brunch!

Yelp
Best place in Strasbourg for brunch. Healthy food with lots of good vegetarian choices and usually at least one vegan (vegetalian) choice. Great service and exceptional chocolate. They have plenty of chocolate near the door to purchase for gifts or yourself. Food is presented very nicely and right next to the Strasbourg Cathedral.

Yelp
We went there for the so called brunch. Actually we expected more a buffet where you can eat from 10 am till 2 pm, but it just means they serve a breakfast offer longer then usual. So after that, we have been suspicious a little, because you only have the choice between different kind of plates with more or less different variety of food. We took the medium price range for about 16€ each, but you can feel free to pay up to 25€ for the largest offer. When it came, we felt that it looked not that much on the plate at all for 16€ and in comparision to high quality all you can eat brunches we had before, it was not really satisfying. It just looks a little rediculous when there is just one cookie, one piece of bread and so on on your plate. But now to the positive points here: it tasted great! Most of the products have been probably organic and were really fresh and nice placed on the plate. Another plus was, that you can choose a coffee or hot chocolate and between about half a dozen fresh made juices, all included in the price. Because a single hot chocolate starts at about 4€, so we stopped complaining about the price. At the end it was just fine with the amount of food they serve you, so we felt well and not too full. So at the end, would recommened it for sure, but be early there or reserve a table or just be later there, like at noon or 1pm as we did, most people are leaving then. The staff is nice, but always in an hurry. Also be prepared for some loudness and a cozy packed sauna like atmosphere when it is full. By the way the place has chocolate in its name for a reason, they have plenty of it on the menu and to buy for taking home.

Yelp
If this is a good brunch in France I don't want to know what is a normal brunch. Worst brunch ever. Such a waste of time and it is even a dirty place. They don't wash the dishes properly and the wipe that they use to clean the tables smells horrible. Apart of this... One hour waiting for some little cold eggs and some cookies and bakeries food that I can buy in a market.

Yelp
Skip this place for hot chocolate. We should have read the previous review that called it watered down. It didn't taste like chocolate at all. Really lousy.
