Good place for a very casual dinner/drink. The waiter was great - he advised me that I may not like the dish I was going to have (Andouillette) and helped me with another. Fantastic service!

The sauce with the french fries we had was spectacular and the appetizer fried chicken was also pretty good. However, we felt underwhelmed by the main courses, the pasta and the mussels both had a lot of potential but just wasn't quite there. One of the very few times I was a little disappointed in the food here in Bordeaux. When we have a plate of mussels we don't expect to have half of them pretty much closed completely or very much closed so that we have to pry it open and break the shells in the process. Meh.

Walked past Bistrot Cheverus which is tucked down a side-street and was immediately impressed by the short, good value menu. Classics with a twist and some modern dishes. The onglet that I'd wanted had sold out but I was not disappointed long as the substitute I chose (Korean chicken) was delicious. Wine recommendation (merlot) from the waiter was spot on. Dessert was also excellent. Staff were very friendly, welcoming and informal. Would return without hesitation.

Fantastic place to go for drinks and dinner. Very affordable and the staff are lovely. We spent 60 euros on two people and each of us had a cocktail, two wines, a starter and a main and shared a dessert.

The food was exquisite, and the place nice. The waiter was a bit special but the food is so good, you don't really bother

We had the poke bowl and Buddha bowl. Very tasty, colourful and well dressed salad bowls with nuts and croutons. Service was very helpful especially with our rusty french! Didn't get a dessert but the crème brulée looked very good from the next table.
