Google
a very lovely place to stay at! we ate crepe salté in the shadow of the building and really liked the vibe there. it would be nice to get more vegetarian options (especially since the picked vegetarian option was great)! will be coming again if we‘re ever back in colmar

Best breakfast in town (from small to enormous). Gluten free (buckwheat crèpes) and they have vegan milk for coffee (best coffee!). Went many times. Also the place is close to the action on a sunny corner. There are tables outsides that fill quickly in the morning.

Friendly and cozy cafe for breakfast, not far from the old section of town. They have a couple of breakfast sets though surprisingly eggs are a separate order. Nevertheless, it was convenient and the service friendly and accommodating to our requests.

This is the best breakfast we've had for the price in several trips to Alsace Lorraine. For a very modest price (around €10), you get a hot drink, orange juice, and a range of meats, cheeses, and some sort of pancake/crepe. The restaurant's seating can reliably accommodate a group up to 6, and we had no wait in peak season.

Very nice breakfast. Crepes that only French can make such a perfection. Chocolate Mous is done with darker high quality Chocolate and the result is simply amazing. Lastly, a super friendly personnel thst speaks English and tolerates my funny French 😁

Coming here on an afternoon during Boxing Day feels like visiting some friends at home where the host tells you they run out of ingredients for an omelet but will do their best to serve you with what they have. The crepes are good even though it was the only thing available at that time so comparison to other items can't be done.

Best crepe I’ve eaten in a great spot inside the old town! La Biquette is probably the best choice for savoury crepes!

Yelp
Bristrot Gourmand is inside the Colmar business area. My wife and I were on vacation and we were able to get seated pretty easily with our two small dogs. They seemed to have a very good brunch buffet menu but we weren't hungry enough to eat our money's worth. We shared a couple crepes (one chocolate, one Nutella) and macchiato. Both crepes were tasty. In a busy commercial area/touristy area they were getting pretty busy. The staff was nice, good experience!

Yelp
We absolutely adored this bistro and had breakfast here everyday! They have a large menu and great coffee. We became regulars and love the manager and the sweet servers. Highly recommend for breakfast or brunch!

Yelp
A tiny unique place for brunch. We walked in and only available was a tall bar table; everything else was busy or reserved. Other walk ins were turned away politely however a couple walked in a sat at an empty bar table and ended up being served . Not sure how that works. The food is served on a board with a variety of items. This was a beautiful presentation. The food tasted good to very very good such as the goat cheese. We added a bowl of soup as it is December as of this writing I rate this as a 3.5 star

Yelp
A great little spot for a hot breakfast. We went looking originally for an American style breakfast & a place that served eggs. Instead we found a French breakfast gem that easily can fit into anyone's budget. They offer a variety of hot & cold dishes for breakfast and excellent coffee options as well. This small French-style diner has great service, speedy wait staff & great food for the morning. I ordered the Formule L'Express (includes bread, butter, marmelade, orange juice & coffee of your choice) and added a 2-ingredient omelette to include Emmentaler cheese & speck. The meal tasted amazing! Especially after having walked around for hours the previous day, my body needed an extra boost of energy and higher calories. The restaurant itself has ample seating, clean restrooms & an overall relaxed, fun atmosphere. Check it out if you're looking for a small or large, hot breakfast in Colmar!

Yelp
The place serves typical Alsacian food for very good prices. It's quite plain and not elegant but has a "home made food" kinda feel. We ordered crepes, a quiche, pork chops and a vegetable soup. All was good.

Yelp
We came to Colmar, the inspiration of Howl's moving castle, for a 2 day visit. The town was beautiful, and we found this small bistro for some traditional Franchise crepe. We ordered the Alsace crepe (Brown sugar and cinnamon ice cream) and the LA club salad (Cheese, Lettuce and Ham). The portion was great for an afternoon tea. We did not have lunch so we thought the portion is still great for lunch. The staff was very friendly. The owner invited us to sit whoever we like because there was only one other table. We particularly enjoyed the dinning environment because the sense of old cafe really stood out for us. The wooden floor, the old newspaper decoration painting on the wall, and the table cloth all reminded us about the old history of Colmar. I told my girl friend that I would be Howl because I am always flying around for my career. We joked while we enjoyed our food. The Bistrot lets us relax and enjoy the moment we had together. We appreciated the cafe and the staffs.

Yelp
We were walking around in the town of Colmar looking for a nice place that we could eat gluten free crepes when we found Bistrot Gourmand. The place was full at the time so we walked around outside for a while before we went in. We were able to get a table pretty fast then, but it took a while for a waiter to come and get our order. We then had to wait almost an hour before our food finally came. The crepes were good, but our waiter forgot our salads, and one of the crepes wasn't the one that we ordered. It turned out fine in the end, and we got our salads, but overall I wouldn't recommend going there at a busy time.

Yelp
Followed Yelp recommendations as a decent place for breakfast. It was a mistake. Walking in - see a high table available to get 2 of us accommodated and asked for it. The waiter lady who was in charge that day (not sure if she is the owner or manager) pointed to a different table next to entrance door with somebody's wet umbrella on it :( I pointed to another high table and asked to be sited there - she just took a bread basket from another couple table and place it on empty table I was asking about and said - it is not available. Right in my face. I understand she doesn't care as this is high traffic tourist area and she's not concerned about retaining the customers - but still, how about making an effort to leave a good impression? So we left. On a way back I gave it another try to get a coffee to go. Asked for it from another guy and he sad 'sure'. I asked to have it with milk and the same lady turned around and said 'no, not possible to make it to go with milk'??? Not recommended.
