Bistrot Presse is a true Luxembourgish gem, serving generous portions of local specialties in a cozy and traditional atmosphere.
We ordered the Bouneschlupp, a comforting green bean soup with bacon and smoked sausage — rich, hearty, and perfect to start the meal. The Cordon Bleu was crispy on the outside, filled with ham and cheese, and topped with a creamy mushroom sauce, accompanied by fresh vegetables. The Steak de Cheval came with fries and a flavorful red wine sauce, tender and very tasty. To finish, the Crème Brûlée was classic, creamy and with a perfectly caramelized top.
The portions are big, the flavors authentic, and everything felt homemade with care. Service was friendly and efficient, and although the prices are a bit on the higher side, the quality and the overall experience made it absolutely worth it.
If you want to taste real Luxembourgish cuisine in a warm, welcoming setting, Bistrot Presse is a place I’d definitely recommend.
