A small bistro right in fron of the duke's castle. It was recommended to us by our city guide and we were not disappointed. They have traditional dishes as well as wine from luxembourg and local beers. We shared a trafiotional pork neck with baked potatos and beans. It was extremely delicious. The waitress was very friendly and nice. Inside you can see the pictures of the duke and the dutchess as well as other important people. We recommend

Wonderful local food right in the middle of all the tourist attractions. The place can be busy during peak dinner times, so best to book online. We had the pork neck, bouneschlupp soup and the potato gallette. They were all really good. If you want to try local food in Luxembourg, you can't go wrong with this place.

Bistrot Presse is a true Luxembourgish gem, serving generous portions of local specialties in a cozy and traditional atmosphere. We ordered the Bouneschlupp, a comforting green bean soup with bacon and smoked sausage — rich, hearty, and perfect to start the meal. The Cordon Bleu was crispy on the outside, filled with ham and cheese, and topped with a creamy mushroom sauce, accompanied by fresh vegetables. The Steak de Cheval came with fries and a flavorful red wine sauce, tender and very tasty. To finish, the Crème Brûlée was classic, creamy and with a perfectly caramelized top. The portions are big, the flavors authentic, and everything felt homemade with care. Service was friendly and efficient, and although the prices are a bit on the higher side, the quality and the overall experience made it absolutely worth it. If you want to taste real Luxembourgish cuisine in a warm, welcoming setting, Bistrot Presse is a place I’d definitely recommend.

We sat outside on a table for two. The only thing that spoiled it was a TV Crew turned up with a group of protesters. They were only there for 15 mins fortunately. We had decided we wanted to try local dishes so we went for option number 2 on the set menu. Green bean soup followed by flour dumplings. The portions were very big for 23€ and the food was delicious. I couldn’t eat it all. The staff were lovely and very welcoming. Would most definitely visit again

Lovely traditional food and great location. The “queens bite” was the best dish out of the 3 for us but everything was good. Would recommend sharing the potato cakes as it can get a little repetitive if that is your main.

I really enjoyed my time at Bistrot Presse the food was absolutely delicious, even if the prices were a bit higher than I expected. But honestly, the quality made it worth every euro. What stood out the most was how genuinely friendly and attentive the staff were; it felt like they really cared about making sure I had a great experience. The cozy, welcoming vibe of the place made me feel right at home. If you’re up for treating yourself to tasty dishes and warm hospitality, Bistrot Presse is a spot I’d happily recommend. I especially want to say thank you because normally they don’t have space and I went to there without reservation but waitress very welcome to me and organise a table for me (:
