Very nice restaurant in Luxembourg. It serves traditional Luxembourg cuisine. Those dishes were delicious. The photos I have taken were not that good since there was kind of weak light with comfy vibe inside the restaurant. But the vibe was good and people had drinks and food and chats.

Delicious food!
I didn’t expect the food to be this good. We had the Judd mat Gaardenounen. It was pretty good! Ham and broad beans in sauce with roasted baby potatoes. Better than it looks. Super smoked ham. Flavourful.
The other dish is their Wainzossis. Beef and pork sausages. Pretty good too. It came with excellent mashed potatoes with butter and a very flavourful mustard.
We also had their house ginger lemonade. Very good too.
Service was excellent too, professional and friendly and helpful and attentive. We couldn’t ask for more.
The Grand Duke passed by (black car in photo) as we were eating, preceded by 2 police on motorcycles. The person serving us told us to watch out for the car as he knew when it would pass by. The restaurant is right across the Palace.
Highly recommend.

Had a great Luxembourgish local dinner here. The sausages were filling and went well with the mustard sauce/mashed potatoes. The dumplings were a bit large in size so it is better to cut into smaller pieces before eating for a better experience.

Food was very good here! I ordered the Luxembourgish dumplings which were very yummy!
… Service overall could have been better and more welcoming as we had to reserve the bar area hours earlier just to even eat here because we were told it was going to be ‘so busy’ we wouldn’t be able to eat here without a reservation.
However, when we arrived at our ‘reservation time’ there were open tables, but we still had to eat at the bar area?…which the staff didn’t even offer to move us to several open tables.
In the hour we were there half the restaurant was open & yet people were turned away & could have been seated.
Overall the food was great but sadly don’t recommend others to come here because of the unwelcoming atmosphere ;(… which I experienced a lot during my vacation in Luxembourg.

Bistrot de la Presse captures a welcoming, Luxembourgish vibe that really adds a touch of local pride to the experience. The simple interior is adorned with Luxembourgish elements, giving a nod to our heritage, which feels both cozy and authentic – a nice reminder of where we are, with a little appreciation for our Grand Duke and our culture.
As for the food, I tried the Kniddelen mat Speck, which didn’t disappoint. The flavors were on point, with the bacon adding a satisfying richness, and the portion was more than generous – definitely great value. All in all, Bistrot de la Presse delivers solid, local fare in a setting that feels like a genuine Luxembourgish retreat.

I loved the place so much that I came here everyday for lunch during my stay in Luxembourg. The staff is super professional and accomodating, the food is tasty and the portions are so large to keep you going until breakfast the next morning 😊 definitely a place to go if you want to try Luxembourgish cousine.

We came to this location to serve the meal 2 times during our stay in Luxembourg. The food was very good, the price is the same as at any other restaurant in this area. ❤️The first experience was extraordinary, which made us come back for other dishes. Last time we served a dish considered a specialty of Luxembourg food, but this was effectively a salad with 3 pieces of ham and 3 pieces of semi-raw dishes. 😂 I paid about 18 euros for this kind of food. It was my fault for not asking before ordering what it was. I expressed my opinion to the staff, and she very calmly and nicely explained to me that it is a dish much loved by the French. I recommend this restaurant for the good food, but I advise you if you do not understand what the dish is to ask what it is and how it is prepared. I repeat, it was my mistake, I want to share the experience with other people and help the restaurant not receive a negative review. I think that maybe this dish is to another person's taste.

Our tourist guide recommended this restaurant with local food. She told us the typical Luxembourg dishes to order. We came after the tour ended. Both soup and pasta dishes recommended by our tour guide were on the “today’s special” menu. Service was quick and good. Food was delicious. While waited for our food, I enjoyed watching the guards walking in front of Duke’s palace.
