I decided to visit this restaurant after seeing the high number of reviews and ratings, but it turned out to be a complete disappointment for us. First of all, the appetizers were insufficient. We ordered 1 soup, 3 lahmacun, 1 Söğürme kebab, 1 chicken shish kebab, and 2 plates of döner kebab. As you can see, this was more than enough to expect decent service. However, we were served stale bread. The Söğürme kebab cost more than $22, and at that price(which is totally overpriced), at least fresh roasted eggplant should have been served. Instead, the eggplant under the meat was unpleasant and tasted bad. When I asked for hot bread, they brought burnt pita bread instead. To sum up, this place feels like a tourist trap. I would strongly recommend thinking twice before visiting. (2 stars are just for lahmacun)

The restaurant is small and cosy. The waiters were very pleasant, friendly and helpful. Thanks to them, we knew what to order. They served us two appetisers with flatbread to tide us over until the main course arrived. We ordered starters and main courses. The portions were generous and the food was delicious. After the meal, you get a complimentary cup of çay tea. The prices are still acceptable for us.

Our first night back in Istanbul and our hotel recommended Bitlisli, right around the corner. Great spot and excellent food. We a pide and tava. Huge portions, much more than we could eat. But we tried! The warm bread with black sesame seeds served with the tava, delish!

We came twice to this restaurant because we really like the food and friendly service. We tried some traditional turkish food and we were really satisfied with the taste of all of them. We tried pide, lahmacun, lentil soup, meat dishes...everything perfect, fresh and full of taste. We received a free bread tea and cake on house. Waiters were very proffessional and friendly.

Great food. I espically recommend the chicken wings! The roast mutton is also delicious. The service is very good, the taste is good, and the price is reasonable. A very good dining experience.

The food was amazing. The highlight of the evening was the tea the young waiter brought at the end of dinner — a wonderful touch that made the experience truly memorable. Two days later, I couldn’t resist coming back, as I had been so well attended on my first visit. I also wanted to check about a card I thought I had lost there. The manager kindly reviewed the camera footage with great attention, and it became clear that I hadn’t lost the card at the restaurant — proving it’s a place of total trust and integrity. During this third visit, I asked the manager if he could help me by preparing smaller portions so that, being alone, I could try a greater variety of dishes — and it turned out to be the best culinary experience! Each dish was outstanding, and the care taken to make my visit special was truly remarkable. This is definitely a place you’ll want to visit more than once

Food was not bad. A bit pricey. Place is definitely hyped in Google Maps. My Garlic kebab which took like 45 minutes wasn’t anything super special, and it lacked salt, basically they added zero amount of salt to the food. The other chopped meat with egg plant was tasty though.

My first time in Istanbul and was looking for a place to grab dinner. For me and my mom’s memorable first Istanbul dinner, we had a kebab mix plate , lentil soup, tea and baklava. Everything was perfectly cooked, great volume and the taste was far beyond phenomenal. Will definitely be back soon for more food :) Thank you to the kind shop owners and for their excellent service.

Delicious food. Good service. Lively atmosphere. One of our favorite meals in Istanbul.

Fantastic location for this hidden gem. Sat on the terrace. Windows wide open. Complementary blankets made for a cozy experience. Warm hospitality. Exceeded only by the food. Incredibly delicious meal. I've been here several days now, in this amazing city. One of my best meals thus far. The meat is so tender and flavorful. Enjoy!

Loved this place! Great service and nice atmosphere. We tried all of the lahmacun options, but my favorite was the walnut and pomegranate one (cevizli & nar ekşili lahmacun). Their mercimek çorbası (lentil soup) was also great.

Amazing food and very warm and welcoming service. The kebab was tasty and one of the best I've had in Istanbul. The Lahmacun is a must have, the crisp crust was very light. This was highly recommended by a local couple we meet and we glad we did since its one of the best experience we had.

Excellent food in the Fatih area! Great price and great customer service. It's hard to find good quality food that isn't overpriced. This place was perfect!

This was such a wonderful restaurant! I would definitely recommend coming here if you want to try authentic Turkish food. I would also suggest sitting outside during a nice day it's a very nice one to experience because of the sights and sounds around you. The service was really great and they even give us complimentary tea at the end. I would suggest getting the eggplant with mixed meat dish which is really flavorful as well as the stuffed meatballs. Be prepared to share the dishes with another person, the portions are really big here as well! I would also take my time eating all the food because it's so delicious! My last recommendation is the walnut salad which was so flavorful and full of walnuts. Very very fresh ingredients and would definitely recommend coming here.

We came here for an Iftar feast during Ramadan (June 2019) and it was absolutely delicious! Everything we tasted was amazing. Fresh. Flavorful. The owner or manager was so kind and inviting. He pulled out an extra table for us so we could eat outside even though they were packed and had no more reservations. It was one of the most wonderful meals I've ever had. The whole ambiance outside was perfect. I would recommend this place to anyone, especially tourists! The pudding we had for desert was to die for. I'm not even sure what it was.
