Bitra - Guesthouse

Great stay! We were a little nervous about the shared restrooms at first, but they were super clean. Unfortunately, we missed breakfast because we overslept, but everything else was perfect. We loved this place and highly recommend it to anyone!

We’re looking forward to our return! Our one night stay was just perfect, clean, and comfortable in our room and we didn’t mind sharing a bathroom. We enjoyed the multiple areas for gathering, with a scenic view, and kitchenette for a warm drink or to store food so nice. Breakfast was a beautiful spread of everything you could think of. I enjoyed interacting with staff for recommendations and etc.

Bitra Guesthouse was absolutely AMAZING! It was the best sleep on our entire trip! Our room was on the bottom floor and was large and spacious. The walls were thick (possibly made of concrete), so we didn't hear any other guests during the night. The beds were comfortable, everything was spotlessly clean, the breakfast was great, and the hosts were incredibly nice and so sweet and helpful. Each night, we looked forward to drinking wine that we brought with us in the common area and talking about our adventures from that day. I would plan future trips around being able to stay here again. It was absolutely PERFECT!

Very clean and pleasant accommodation. The bathrooms in particular were extremely clean. The breakfast was extensive. There was even gluten-free muesli. The rooms were neat and simply decorated, which I really liked. The view from the windows into the distance was also very nice. I would definitely stay here again!

A wonderful family-run B&B convenient to Iceland's Golden Circle. The hotel has 17 rooms, is immaculately clean, and has friendly, helpful staff. There are 7 common bathrooms / showers, so usually no waiting to get ready in the morning. Breakfast was generous and delicious, the highlight of our stay! It is self service with a large dining area with lots of windows offering views of the Icelandic countryside. A great place to stay in the Selfoss area!

The breakfast was tasty, various posibilities. The room was cosy with confortable bed and clean. Like it.

One of the best guest houses I've stayed at in Iceland. From how clean and tidy the rooms were to how great a spread they put up for breakfast. It was just amazing. I highly recommend this place.
