Bitra - Guesthouse

We’re looking forward to our return! Our one night stay was just perfect, clean, and comfortable in our room and we didn’t mind sharing a bathroom. We enjoyed the multiple areas for gathering, with a scenic view, and kitchenette for a warm drink or to store food so nice. Breakfast was a beautiful spread of everything you could think of. I enjoyed interacting with staff for recommendations and etc.

We were warmly greeted upon arrival and shown to our bedroom and bath. Guesthouse Bitra is spotless and has comfortable beds. ||The breakfasts were nourishing and filling with terrific service. Staff even allowed us to dine earlier than is customary because we had an early departure for a hike!|||I loved the Icelandic music played, the cheerful lounge with drinks, and even purchased children’s books as one of the owners is an author! The kind staff even wrote a note in the book in Icelandic for my granddaughters.|||Lovely people…and a lovely place!!!!!

Bitra Guesthouse was absolutely AMAZING! It was the best sleep on our entire trip! Our room was on the bottom floor and was large and spacious. The walls were thick (possibly made of concrete), so we didn't hear any other guests during the night. The beds were comfortable, everything was spotlessly clean, the breakfast was great, and the hosts were incredibly nice and so sweet and helpful. Each night, we looked forward to drinking wine that we brought with us in the common area and talking about our adventures from that day. I would plan future trips around being able to stay here again. It was absolutely PERFECT!

Great stay! We were a little nervous about the shared restrooms at first, but they were super clean. Unfortunately, we missed breakfast because we overslept, but everything else was perfect. We loved this place and highly recommend it to anyone!

Perfect guesthouse in a Peaceful place. Warm welcome and comfortable rooms. Perfect breakfast before going to visit Iceland.

Very clean and pleasant accommodation. The bathrooms in particular were extremely clean. The breakfast was extensive. There was even gluten-free muesli. The rooms were neat and simply decorated, which I really liked. The view from the windows into the distance was also very nice. I would definitely stay here again!

Nice welcome...nice breakfast..a few flies in the room..shared tv arra n I ne in room....1 couldn't catch ugh..otherwise nice b and b
