Wonderful location, right on the water in the viaduct. The staff were really friendly and attentive, even providing a colouring pack for our daughter. Our friend loved her salad. We ordered the mushroom pizza which unfortunately was quite bland, better with hot sauce.

Went to celebrate friends graduation at Bivaccio for dinner. As we had 20 people we had the set menu for $110pp. The table wasn't ready at 8 pm, so we went to the bar for a drink but was ready in about 5 minutes. Unfortunately, there wasn't space for our number of people, so seating was three tables and the host ended up moving around tables throughout the night to make sure she spent time with everyone. The food started coming out just past 8:30 and from that point came out well timed, wrapping up with dessert by 10pm. All the dishes were delicious as well as the cocktails. I ordered the seasonal Fejoia and Lemoncello, and the Fejoia Fizz and then their Bermout Bliss. As I didn't have any dietary requirements I found it all enjoyable and was perfectly satisfied by the end of the meal, however the guest I was next to could only eat Halal and mentioned she may need to eat something else when she got home. The atmosphere is great at the restaurant with several views of the water. Bathrooms are immaculate, clean and comfortable. The wait staff could have been a little more attentive though as I ran out of water halfway through and never got another refill. They only seemed to come around when they had dishes to set out. This is not my first time at Bivacco but overall I would recommend this restaurant and will most likely be back.

This was a great way to start a wintry clear morning on the Viaduct sitting outside. The staff are attentive and friendly. We enjoyed the cocktails. The winning dish was the duck liver parfait. The seafood selection was beautifully presented and came off a bit bland. Will definitely be back to try other dishes.

Celebrating my 60th birthday at Bivacco was very special! We had an “intimate” family lunch with 20 of my nearest and dearest and it was wonderful! Everything about Saturday was superb - from the pre planning that my partner Ron did with the events team, to the setting on the veranda looking out on the Viaduct, the stunning 5 course set menu (that everyone raved about!) and the absolutely exceptional service by the whole team. Every request was taken care of including special food needs, through to the extension of time. Thank you to everyone in the Bivacco team - it was a memorable and magnificent occasion! Sina

We came here with a large group for lunch and it was so delightful. The staff were super welcoming and attentive. If you are going to order anything here it should be the tiramisu. Best I've ever had and will be back again just for that. No photos because we smashed it 🤤

Great service, mango trifle and pavlova were the only desserts I liked. Porkbelly, carrots, potatoes and mac n cheese were the only mains I liked too. I think its overpriced. Staff are very attentive and helpful.

#Italian restaurant# Perfect location in the harbour area. Beef carpaccio is really good, fresh meat with truffle sauce. Mushroom pizza is portion and not too bad,but I think beef tongues is a bit salty. Hot wine is a good choice in winter.

First time eating at Bivacco we had the Sunday feast buffet and it sure was a feast. You literally feel like your having a Sunday roast at home but with elevation of atmosphere and service. The food delicious , fav was the Brussel sprouts , the pork , the seafood , muscles prawns , chatecurie board man just all of it was mouth yummy. The service by our waiters just so friendly warm and kind. We went at 2pm probably would recommend doing an earlier session . But anytime is great really. Desserts are small but perfect to end the feed with light and simple. Highly recommend. Eat everything and you'll get your moneys worth I guarantee.
