Bj's Branding Iron BAR & GRILL

After trying to find a place to eat after long day hunting BJ's Branding Iron hit the spot. Food was good and did not take very long to get food. Prices reasonable, and medium friendly crowd.

Food was good got burgers. Tried both the fries and the jojos the jojos are hand cut and amazing. Burgers were good. Cooked properly not over done. Bartender was super friendly. Cook was super friendly.

Stopped in there last year to get a bite to eat. The atmosphere was great and the patrons that were in there along with the staff were very friendly. I felt welcomed. They were singing karaoke so I stayed for a while and listened to the different singers. Had a great time.

Food was mid, fryer was down, and smells like cigarettes. It took about an hour for them to deliver a burger and chips when the place was 20% full.

Respecting tradition for a room that services and act as old as man can never be scoffed at. Reliable tile, traditional sink, handle bars around the toilet for if things get out of control. There's just nothing to complain about. A beautiful early 2000's Coors display on the door open to the patrons of the bar cause what the heck else would you expect here! WOULD VISIT AGAIN

We needed dinner late on a Sunday evening, and BJs was the only option at this time. Fortunately, it was great. Definitely a local crowd, but everyone was welcoming and the service was great - we sat at the bar. Burgers were very good. 12 beers on tap. Would definitely recommend it.

I wish that I had a better review to write. We stopped here on our road trip because our car broke down and needed lunch while our car was being looked at. Overall the place was fine except for the disgusting amount of flies in the window and booth we were sitting at. We were here on a Thursday afternoon about 1pm, and there were maybe 15 other people so not busy. As we were sitting down, the table behind us was ordering. The bartender then took our order. The table behind us received their food, ate and paid. At this point it had been about 40 minutes. We called the bartender over and said since we hadn't received our food yet we would unfortunately need to leave and pay for our drinks as our car was fixed and it had been an unacceptable amount of time since ordered. We tried to explain the other table ordered, ate, paid, and left all in that time. At first he said damn you still havent gotten the food. He then became very defensive and said that he's the best bartender and server in the valley and he didn't appreciate that. I tried to explain that it wasn't a criticism on him but that the length of time was too long for an empty bar. He got angry and said that the cook was new. He walked away from us mid conversation, again we were very polite and trying to explain our situation. He then came back like 2 minutes later and put our food on the table in boxes and said it was on the house. While we are very appreciative of the gesture of comping our meal, I am curious as to why the second we said anything the food was instantly ready. Overall, our expierence could have been much better had he had a different and more understanding attitude. We completely understand being servers and thats how you make your living however, a 40 minute wait for food in a near empty bar is unacceptable.

Sat for a long time. Food took a long time to come out, more focused on regulars and serving drinks than serving food. Food wasn't good. Burgers all dry. Chicken burger dry and seemed like been sitting under a heat lamp for a while. Tatertots were so crispy could almost crushed into dust. Server was nice.

OMG this place is awesome. The ambiance is everything you would want in a saloon in the mountains. The waitress doesn't take and shit from the customer which was great to see. Someone gave the bartender $20 to split between from guys to put towards a drink for each one. One of the guys started to bitch he had to pay the rest of his drink which was like $2 more. The bartender told the man to keep his money and get out because she doesn't want money from someone that is going to bitch about get part of a beer payed for. Food was really good as well. I will definitely be coming back in the summer.

We had bacon cheeseburgers with onion rings...on point! Lil fry sauce and IPA and stiff whiskey and coke! Great service and clean dive bar!!! We'll be back!

I love this dive bar for the best burgers and Budweiser. No kale, no microbrews, plenty of sketchy characters.

Absolutely unreal spot. Service is 10/10 and the vibes are immaculate. It was a bad day to be a coors light and bacon cheeseburger.

On our way through town headed to Winthrop and stopped for a drink and some late lunch. This place did not disappoint! Amazing broasted chicken. Fries were crispy and hot and the modest side green salad was cold and crunchy. Service was friendly and prompt. Well done.

Stopped in for lunch with the guys a couple times while working in the area. Looks like the local watering hole. No complaints. Food and service was good each time. I recommend the French dip burger.

I was passing through town and came in for a couple beverages. Typical local bar environment for a one horse town. I had fried bar food (clam strips). Nothing out of the ordinary, but I do not recommend the ranch. Good beer, they had a Montana brew called Cold Smoke. I highly recommend trying this while they have it. Staff were friendly and helpful.

It's my favorite place to go in Twisp when Ray is behind the bar. He is my all-time favorite bartender. Attentive. Quick. Caring. Protective. And he can easily drum up an interesting conversation with just about anybody who wants to, or he'll leave you alone if that's what you want. He has a knack for telling how much to converse. WSU Psychology degree. Haven't eaten there since it was Rosie's... long, long ago, so I can't comment on the food. Summary: Best bartender ever. Good cold beer. Nice stiff drinks. Pull tabs with potential winnings of mayonnaise or sardines. Interesting crowd. Karaoke sometimes. What else are you looking for? You've come to the right place. My husband and Icame in on impulse because we were really hungry and the prices were great. I won't deny that. The food wasn't very good at all. My husband's turkey reuben was so filled with Thousand Island he could barely eat it. It took forever for us to get any kind of service and the place wasn't even busy. We observed our server going outside for a smoke and then went right back inside and started filling a beer and serving other people. **She did not wash her hands!** We visited on Wednesday approximately 2 pm. (An older server longer hair that was not tied back, who said she'd been there for about 15 years.) I hope someone who manages the place reads this end that's some serious reconsideration on employee training and what they should be doing. The hand-washing thing really disgusted us.

Very simple menu and it was pretty busy because the sehawks were playing, it would be a great place to hang out for a while because service is kinda slow but for a quick bite to eat ya might want to re-consider your stop

Ordered the swiss burger dip. Came with au jus and fries. Really good and crispy fries. Burger was great. Husband had the shrimp and fries and enjoyed it. We liked the food. We didn't think it was expensive.

I guess non-local people are not welcome in this restaurant. We stood at the entrance for 10 minutes to see if someone will seat us. The waitress walked by us so many times, but didn't even bother talk to us. She turned away so fast when I asked her if someone will seat us. The bar tender guy obviously saw us, but ignored us, even when I talked to him. There were not many people in the restaurant, and staff was not busy at all. We waited for 10 minutes and decided to go to Omak. A great decision since Omak has a way many restaurants to choose from.

Worst food ever, waitress is very rude, don't bother going. The room is old and dirty and the bar is filthy. The drinks taste terrible. Please avoid at all cost

Best small town bar in twisp. Ray was fantastic. Attentive friendly well informed. Good pour consistent 2nd night with different bartender. Will be back.

Best burger, chicken burger, and fries in the Methow Valley!! Reasonably priced. Good service. Local gossip if you are alone.

Love this place. Busy on Karaoke night. Definitely order the tots.
